Micah 4 (WEBP)

[1] But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.
[2] Many nations will go and say, “Come! Let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;
[3] and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.
[4] But every man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.
[5] Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.
[6] “In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;
[7] and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”
[8] You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come. Yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.
[9] Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?
[10] Be in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
[11] Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.”
[12] But they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.
[13] Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze. You will beat in pieces many peoples. I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

Micah 4 (KJVS)

[1] But in the last H319 days H3117 it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain H2022 of the house H1004 of the LORD H3068 shall be established H3559 (8737) in the top H7218 of the mountains H2022, and it shall be exalted H5375 (8737) above the hills H1389; and people H5971 shall flow H5102 (8804) unto it.
[2] And many H7227 nations H1471 shall come H1980 (8804), and say H559 (8804), Come H3212 (8798), and let us go up H5927 (8799) to the mountain H2022 of the LORD H3068, and to the house H1004 of the God H430 of Jacob H3290; and he will teach H3384 (8686) us of his ways H1870, and we will walk H3212 (8799) in his paths H734: for the law H8451 shall go forth H3318 (8799) of Zion H6726, and the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 from Jerusalem H3389.
[3] And he shall judge H8199 (8804) among many H7227 people H5971, and rebuke H3198 (8689) strong H6099 nations H1471 afar off H7350; and they shall beat H3807 (8765) their swords H2719 into plowshares H855, and their spears H2595 into pruninghooks H4211: nation H1471 shall not lift up H5375 (8799) a sword H2719 against nation H1471, neither shall they learn H3925 (8799) war H4421 any more.
[4] But they shall sit H3427 (8804) every man H376 under his vine H1612 and under his fig tree H8384; and none shall make [them] afraid H2729 (8688): for the mouth H6310 of the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635 hath spoken H1696 (8765) [it].
[5] For all people H5971 will walk H3212 (8799) every one H376 in the name H8034 of his god H430, and we will walk H3212 (8799) in the name H8034 of the LORD H3068 our God H430 for ever H5769 and ever H5703.
[6] In that day H3117, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068, will I assemble H622 (8799) her that halteth H6760 (8802), and I will gather H6908 (8762) her that is driven out H5080 (8737), and her that I have afflicted H7489 (8689);
[7] And I will make H7760 (8804) her that halted H6760 (8802) a remnant H7611, and her that was cast far off H1972 (8737) a strong H6099 nation H1471: and the LORD H3068 shall reign H4427 (8804) over them in mount H2022 Zion H6726 from henceforth, even for H5704 ever H5769.
[8] And thou, O tower H4026 of the flock H5739 (8677) H4029, the strong hold H6076 of the daughter H1323 of Zion H6726, unto thee shall it come H857 (8799), even the first H7223 dominion H4475; the kingdom H4467 shall come H935 (8804) to the daughter H1323 of Jerusalem H3389.
[9] Now why dost thou cry H7321 (8686) out aloud H7452? [is there] no king H4428 in thee? is thy counsellor H3289 (8802) perished H6 (8804)? for pangs H2427 have taken H2388 (8689) thee as a woman in travail H3205 (8802).
[10] Be in pain H2342 (8798), and labour to bring forth H1518 (8798), O daughter H1323 of Zion H6726, like a woman in travail H3205 (8802): for now shalt thou go forth H3318 (8799) out of the city H7151, and thou shalt dwell H7931 (8804) in the field H7704, and thou shalt go H935 (8804) [even] to Babylon H894; there shalt thou be delivered H5337 (8735); there the LORD H3068 shall redeem H1350 (8799) thee from the hand H3709 of thine enemies H341 (8802).
[11] Now also many H7227 nations H1471 are gathered H622 (8738) against thee, that say H559 (8802), Let her be defiled H2610 (8799), and let our eye H5869 look H2372 (8799) upon Zion H6726.
[12] But they know H3045 (8804) not the thoughts H4284 of the LORD H3068, neither understand H995 (8689) they his counsel H6098: for he shall gather H6908 (8765) them as the sheaves H5995 into the floor H1637.
[13] Arise H6965 (8798) and thresh H1758 (8798), O daughter H1323 of Zion H6726: for I will make H7760 (8799) thine horn H7161 iron H1270, and I will make H7760 (8799) thy hoofs H6541 brass H5154: and thou shalt beat in pieces H1854 (8689) many H7227 people H5971: and I will consecrate H2763 (8689) their gain H1215 unto the LORD H3068, and their substance H2428 unto the Lord H113 of the whole earth H776.

Young’s Literal Translation

Micah 4 (YLT)

[1] And it hath come to pass, In the latter end of the days, The mount of the house of Jehovah Is established above the top of the mounts, And it hath been lifted up above the hills, And flowed unto it have peoples.
[2] And gone have many nations and said, Come and we go up to the mount of Jehovah, And unto the house of the God of Jacob, And He doth teach us of His ways, And we do walk in His paths, For from Zion doth go forth a law, And a word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
[3] And He hath judged between many peoples, And given a decision to mighty nations afar off, They have beaten their swords to ploughshares, And their spears to pruning-hooks, Nation lifteth not up sword unto nation, Nor do they learn war any more.
[4] And they have sat each under his vine, And under his fig-tree, And there is none troubling, For the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts hath spoken.
[5] For all the peoples do walk, Each in the name of its god-and we, We do walk in the name of Jehovah our God, To the age and for ever.
[6] In that day-an affirmation of Jehovah, I do gather the halting one, And the driven away one I bring together, And she whom I have afflicted.
[7] And I have set the halting for a remnant, And the far-off for a mighty nation, And reigned hath Jehovah over them in mount Zion, From henceforth, and unto the age.
[8] And thou, O tower of Eder, Fort of the daughter of Zion, unto thee it cometh, Yea, come in hath the former rule, The kingdom to the daughter of Jerusalem.
[9] Now, why dost thou shout aloud? A king-is there none in thee? Hath thy counsellor perished, That taken hold of thee hath pain as a travailing woman?
[10] Be pained, and bring forth, O daughter of Zion, As a travailing woman, For now, thou goest forth from the city, And thou hast dwelt in the field, And thou hast gone unto Babylon, There thou art delivered, There redeem thee doth Jehovah from the hand of thine enemies.
[11] And now, gathered against thee have been many nations, who are saying: ‘Let her be defiled, and our eyes look on Zion.’
[12] They have not known the thoughts of Jehovah, Nor have they understood His counsel, For He hath gathered them as a sheaf into a threshing-floor.
[13] Arise, and thresh, O daughter of Zion, For thy horn I make iron, And thy hoofs I make brass, And thou hast beaten small many peoples, And I have devoted to Jehovah their gain, And their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth!
