Psalm 90 (WEBP)

[1] Lord,§ you have been our dwelling place for all generations.
[2] Before the mountains were born, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
[3] You turn man to destruction, saying, “Return, you children of men.”
[4] For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.
[5] You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
[6] In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.
[7] For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.
[8] You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
[9] For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
[10] The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
[11] Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
[12] So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
[13] Relent, Yahweh!° How long? Have compassion on your servants!
[14] Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
[15] Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil.
[16] Let your work appear to your servants, your glory to their children.
[17] Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.

Psalm 90:1 The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.”
Psalm 90:13 “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations.

Psalm 90 (KJVS)

[1] «A Prayer H8605 of Moses H4872 the man H376 of God H430.» Lord H136, thou hast been our dwelling place H4583 in all H1755 generations H1755.
[2] Before the mountains H2022 were brought forth H3205 (8795), or ever thou hadst formed H2342 (8787) the earth H776 and the world H8398, even from everlasting H5769 to H5704 everlasting H5769, thou [art] God H410.
[3] Thou turnest H7725 (8686) man H582 to destruction H1793; and sayest H559 (8799), Return H7725 (8798), ye children H1121 of men H120.
[4] For a thousand H505 years H8141 in thy sight H5869 [are but] as H3117 yesterday H865 when it is past H5674 (8799), and [as] a watch H821 in the night H3915.
[5] Thou carriest them away as with a flood H2229 (8804); they are [as] a sleep H8142: in the morning H1242 [they are] like grass H2682 [which] groweth up H2498 (8799).
[6] In the morning H1242 it flourisheth H6692 (8686), and groweth up H2498 (8804); in the evening H6153 it is cut down H4135 (8787), and withereth H3001 (8804).
[7] For we are consumed H3615 (8804) by thine anger H639, and by thy wrath H2534 are we troubled H926 (8738).
[8] Thou hast set H7896 (8804) our iniquities H5771 before thee, our secret H5956 (8803) [sins] in the light H3974 of thy countenance H6440.
[9] For all our days H3117 are passed away H6437 (8804) in thy wrath H5678: we spend H3615 (8765) our years H8141 as a tale H1899 [that is told].
[10] The days H3117 of our years H8141 [are] threescore H7657 years H8141 and ten H7657; and if by reason of strength H1369 [they be] fourscore H8084 years H8141, yet [is] their strength H7296 labour H5999 and sorrow H205; for it is soon H2440 cut off H1468 (8804), and we fly away H5774 (8799).
[11] Who knoweth H3045 (8802) the power H5797 of thine anger H639? even according to thy fear H3374, [so is] thy wrath H5678.
[12] So teach H3045 (8685) [us] to number H4487 (8800) our days H3117, that we may apply H935 (8686) [our] hearts H3824 unto wisdom H2451.
[13] Return H7725 (8798), O LORD H3068, how long? and let it repent H5162 (8734) thee concerning thy servants H5650.
[14] O satisfy H7646 (8761) us early H1242 with thy mercy H2617; that we may rejoice H7442 (8762) and be glad H8055 (8799) all our days H3117.
[15] Make us glad H8055 (8761) according to the days H3117 [wherein] thou hast afflicted H6031 (8765) us, [and] the years H8141 [wherein] we have seen H7200 (8804) evil H7451.
[16] Let thy work H6467 appear H7200 (8735) unto thy servants H5650, and thy glory H1926 unto their children H1121.
[17] And let the beauty H5278 of the LORD H3068 our God H430 be upon us: and establish H3559 (8786) thou the work H4639 of our hands H3027 upon us; yea, the work H4639 of our hands H3027 establish H3559 (8786) thou it.

Young’s Literal Translation

Psalm 90 (YLT)

[1] Lord, a habitation Thou-Thou hast been, To us-in generation and generation,
[2] Before mountains were brought forth, And Thou dost form the earth and the world, Even from age unto age Thou art God.
[3] Thou turnest man unto a bruised thing, And sayest, Turn back, ye sons of men.
[4] For a thousand years in Thine eyes are as yesterday, For it passeth on, yea, a watch by night.
[5] Thou hast inundated them, they are asleep, In the morning as grass he changeth.
[6] In the morning it flourisheth, and hath changed, At evening it is cut down, and hath withered.
[7] For we were consumed in Thine anger, And in Thy fury we have been troubled.
[8] Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, Our hidden things at the light of Thy face,
[9] For all our days pined away in Thy wrath, We consumed our years as a meditation.
[10] Days of our years, in them are seventy years, And if, by reason of might, eighty years, Yet is their enlargement labour and vanity, For it hath been cut off hastily, and we fly away.
[11] Who knoweth the power of Thine anger? And according to Thy fear-Thy wrath?
[12] To number our days aright let us know, And we bring the heart to wisdom.
[13] Turn back, O Jehovah, till when? And repent concerning Thy servants.
[14] Satisfy us at morn with Thy kindness, And we sing and rejoice all our days.
[15] Cause us to rejoice according to the days Wherein Thou hast afflicted us, The years we have seen evil.
[16] Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, And Thine honour on their sons.
[17] And let the pleasantness of Jehovah our God be upon us, And the work of our hands establish on us, Yea, the work of our hands establish it!
