On that day, King Ahasuerus gave the house of Haman, the Jews’ enemy, to Esther the queen. Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was to her.
On that day H3117 did the king H4428 Ahasuerus H325 give H5414 (8804) the house H1004 of Haman H2001 the Jews H3064’ enemy H6887 (8802) unto Esther H635 the queen H4436. And Mordecai H4782 came H935 (8804) before H6440 the king H4428; for Esther H635 had told H5046 (8689) what he [was] unto her.
On that day hath the king Ahasuerus given to Esther the queen the house of Haman, adversary of the Jews, and Mordecai hath come in before the king, for Esther hath declared what he is to her,

Esther 7:9 A cubit is the length from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow on a man’s arm, or about 18 inches or 46 centimeters.

And Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, saith before the king, ‘Also lo, the tree that Haman made for Mordecai, who spake good for the king, is standing in the house of Haman, in height fifty cubits;’ and the king saith, ‘Hang him upon it.’

Then King Ahasuerus said to Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, “See, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he laid his hand on the Jews.

And the king Ahasuerus saith to Esther the queen, and to Mordecai the Jew, ‘Lo, the house of Haman I have given to Esther, and him they have hanged on the tree, because that he put forth his hand on the Jews,

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath was pacified.
