Jeremiah 27 (WEBP)
[1] In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
[2] Yahweh says to me: “Make bonds and bars, and put them on your neck.
[3] Then send them to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the children of Ammon, to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
[4] Give them a command to their masters, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says, “You shall tell your masters:
[5] ‘I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.
[6] Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.
[7] All the nations will serve him, his son, and his son’s son, until the time of his own land comes. Then many nations and great kings will make him their bondservant.
[8] “ ‘ “ ‘It will happen that I will punish the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon,’ says Yahweh, ‘with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
[9] But as for you, don’t listen to your prophets, to your diviners, to your dreams, to your soothsayers, or to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, “You shall not serve the king of Babylon;”
[10] for they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, so that I would drive you out, and you would perish.
[11] But the nation that brings their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serves him, that nation I will let remain in their own land,’ says Yahweh; ‘and they will till it and dwell in it.’ ” ’ ”
[12] I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, “Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
[13] Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Yahweh has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
[14] Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.
[15] For I have not sent them,” says Yahweh, “but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.”
[16] Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Yahweh says, “Don’t listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, ‘Behold, the vessels of Yahweh’s house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.
[17] Don’t listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why should this city become a desolation?
[18] But if they are prophets, and if Yahweh’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to Yahweh of Armies, that the vessels which are left in Yahweh’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.
[19] For Yahweh of Armies says concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,
[20] which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon didn’t take when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem—
[21] yes, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says concerning the vessels that are left in Yahweh’s house, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem:
[22] ‘They will be carried to Babylon, and there they will be, until the day that I visit them,’ says Yahweh; ‘then I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.’ ”

Jeremiah 27 (KJVS)
[1] In the beginning H7225 of the reign H4467 of Jehoiakim H3079 the son H1121 of Josiah H2977 king H4428 of Judah H3063 came this word H1697 unto Jeremiah H3414 from the LORD H3068, saying H559 (8800),
[2] Thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 to me; Make H6213 (8798) thee bonds H4147 and yokes H4133, and put H5414 (8804) them upon thy neck H6677,
[3] And send H7971 (8765) them to the king H4428 of Edom H123, and to the king H4428 of Moab H4124, and to the king H4428 of the Ammonites H1121 H5983, and to the king H4428 of Tyrus H6865, and to the king H4428 of Zidon H6721, by the hand H3027 of the messengers H4397 which come H935 (8802) to Jerusalem H3389 unto Zedekiah H6667 king H4428 of Judah H3063;
[4] And command H6680 (8765) them to say H559 (8800) unto their masters H113, Thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478; Thus shall ye say H559 (8799) unto your masters H113;
[5] I have made H6213 (8804) the earth H776, the man H120 and the beast H929 that [are] upon H6440 the ground H776, by my great H1419 power H3581 and by my outstretched H5186 (8803) arm H2220, and have given H5414 (8804) it unto whom it seemed H5869 meet H3474 (8804) unto me.
[6] And now have I given H5414 (8804) all these lands H776 into the hand H3027 of Nebuchadnezzar H5019 the king H4428 of Babylon H894, my servant H5650; and the beasts H2416 of the field H7704 have I given H5414 (8804) him also to serve H5647 (8800) him.
[7] And all nations H1471 shall serve H5647 (8804) him, and his son H1121, and his son’s H1121 son H1121, until the very time H6256 of his land H776 come H935 (8800): and then many H7227 nations H1471 and great H1419 kings H4428 shall serve H5647 (8804) themselves of him.
[8] And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation H1471 and kingdom H4467 which will not serve H5647 (8799) the same Nebuchadnezzar H5019 the king H4428 of Babylon H894, and that will not put H5414 (8799) their neck H6677 under the yoke H5923 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894, that nation H1471 will I punish H6485 (8799), saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068, with the sword H2719, and with the famine H7458, and with the pestilence H1698, until I have consumed H8552 (8800) them by his hand H3027.
[9] Therefore hearken H8085 (8799) not ye to your prophets H5030, nor to your diviners H7080 (8802), nor to your dreamers H2472, nor to your enchanters H6049 (8781), nor to your sorcerers H3786, which speak H559 (8802) unto you, saying H559 (8800), Ye shall not serve H5647 (8799) the king H4428 of Babylon H894:
[10] For they prophesy H5012 (8737) a lie H8267 unto you, to remove you far H7368 (8687) from your land H127; and that I should drive you out H5080 (8689), and ye should perish H6 (8804).
[11] But the nations H1471 that bring H935 (8686) their neck H6677 under the yoke H5923 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894, and serve H5647 (8804) him, those will I let remain still H3240 (8689) in their own land H127, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068; and they shall till H5647 (8804) it, and dwell H3427 (8804) therein.
[12] I spake H1696 (8765) also to Zedekiah H6667 king H4428 of Judah H3063 according to all these words H1697, saying H559 (8800), Bring H935 (8685) your necks H6677 under the yoke H5923 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894, and serve H5647 (8798) him and his people H5971, and live H2421 (8798).
[13] Why will ye die H4191 (8799), thou and thy people H5971, by the sword H2719, by the famine H7458, and by the pestilence H1698, as the LORD H3068 hath spoken H1696 (8765) against the nation H1471 that will not serve H5647 (8799) the king H4428 of Babylon H894?
[14] Therefore hearken H8085 (8799) not unto the words H1697 of the prophets H5030 that speak H559 (8802) unto you, saying H559 (8800), Ye shall not serve H5647 (8799) the king H4428 of Babylon H894: for they prophesy H5012 (8737) a lie H8267 unto you.
[15] For I have not sent H7971 (8804) them, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068, yet they prophesy H5012 (8737) a lie H8267 in my name H8034; that I might drive you out H5080 (8687), and that ye might perish H6 (8804), ye, and the prophets H5030 that prophesy H5012 (8737) unto you.
[16] Also I spake H1696 (8765) to the priests H3548 and to all this people H5971, saying H559 (8800), Thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068; Hearken H8085 (8799) not to the words H1697 of your prophets H5030 that prophesy H5012 (8737) unto you, saying H559 (8800), Behold, the vessels H3627 of the LORD’S H3068 house H1004 shall now shortly H4120 be brought again H7725 (8716) from Babylon H894: for they prophesy H5012 (8737) a lie H8267 unto you.
[17] Hearken H8085 (8799) not unto them; serve H5647 (8798) the king H4428 of Babylon H894, and live H2421 (8798): wherefore should this city H5892 be laid waste H2723?
[18] But if they [be] prophets H5030, and if the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 be H3426 with them, let them now make intercession H6293 (8799) to the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635, that the vessels H3627 which are left H3498 (8737) in the house H1004 of the LORD H3068, and [in] the house H1004 of the king H4428 of Judah H3063, and at Jerusalem H3389, go H935 (8804) not to Babylon H894.
[19] For thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635 concerning the pillars H5982, and concerning the sea H3220, and concerning the bases H4350, and concerning the residue H3499 of the vessels H3627 that remain H3498 (8737) in this city H5892,
[20] Which Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 took H3947 (8804) not, when he carried away captive H1540 (8687) Jeconiah H3204 the son H1121 of Jehoiakim H3079 king H4428 of Judah H3063 from Jerusalem H3389 to Babylon H894, and all the nobles H2715 of Judah H3063 and Jerusalem H3389;
[21] Yea, thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478, concerning the vessels H3627 that remain H3498 (8737) [in] the house H1004 of the LORD H3068, and [in] the house H1004 of the king H4428 of Judah H3063 and of Jerusalem H3389;
[22] They shall be carried H935 (8714) to Babylon H894, and there shall they be until the day H3117 that I visit H6485 (8800) them, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068; then will I bring H5927 (8689) them up, and restore H7725 (8689) them to this place H4725.
Young’s Literal Translation
Jeremiah 27 (YLT)
[1] In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah, hath this word been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
[2] ‘Thus said Jehovah unto me, Make to thee bands and yokes,
[3] And thou hast put them on thy neck, and hast sent them unto the king of Edom, and unto the king of Moab, and unto the king of the sons of Ammon, and unto the king of Tyre, and unto the king of Zidon, by the hand of messengers who are coming in to Jerusalem, unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
[4] And thou hast commanded them for their lords, saying, Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel,
[5] Thus do ye say unto your lords, I-I have made the earth with man, and the cattle that are on the face of the earth, by My great power, and by My stretched-out arm, and I have given it to whom it hath been right in Mine eyes.
[6] ‘And now, I-I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and also the beast of the field I have given to him to serve him;
[7] And served him have all the nations, and his son, and his son’s son, till the coming in of the time of his land, also it; and done service for him have many nations and great kings.
[8] And it hath come to pass, the nation and the kingdom that do not serve him-Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon-and that which putteth not its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, with sword, and with famine, and with pestilence, I lay a charge on that nation-an affirmation of Jehovah-till I consume them by his hand.
[9] ‘And ye, ye do not hearken unto your prophets, and unto your diviners, and unto your dreamers, and unto your observers of clouds, and unto your sorcerers who are speaking unto you, saying, Ye do not serve the king of Babylon,-
[10] For falsehood they are prophesying to you, so as to remove you far from off your ground, and I have driven you out, and ye have perished.
[11] And the nation that causeth its neck to enter into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and hath served him-I have left it on its ground-an affirmation of Jehovah-and it hath tilled it, and dwelt in it.’
[12] And unto Zedekiah king of Judah I have spoken according to all these words, saying, ‘Cause your necks to enter into the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
[13] Why do ye die, thou and thy people, by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, as Jehovah hath spoken concerning the nation that doth not serve the king of Babylon?
[14] ‘And ye do not hearken unto the words of the prophets who are speaking unto you, saying, Ye do not serve the king of Babylon,-for falsehood they are prophesying to you.
[15] For I have not sent them-an affirmation of Jehovah-and they are prophesying in My name falsely, so as to drive you out, and ye have perished, ye, and the prophets who are prophesying to you.’
[16] And unto the priests, and unto all this people, I have spoken, saying, ‘Thus said Jehovah, Ye do not hearken unto the words of your prophets, who are prophesying to you, saying, Lo, the vessels of the house of Jehovah are brought back from Babylon now in haste, for falsehood they are prophesying to you.
[17] Ye do not hearken unto them, serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why is this city a waste?
[18] ‘And, if they be prophets, and if a word of Jehovah be with them, let them intercede, I pray you, with Jehovah of Hosts, so that the vessels that are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, have not gone into Babylon.
[19] For thus said Jehovah of Hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,
[20] That Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath not taken, in his removing Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon with all the freemen of Judah and Jerusalem,
[21] Surely thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left of the house of Jehovah, and of the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:
[22] To Babylon they are brought, and there they are till the day of My inspecting them-an affirmation of Jehovah; then I have brought them up, and have brought them back unto this place.’
