“All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that whoever, whether man or woman, comes to the king into the inner court without being called, there is one law for him, that he be put to death, except those to whom the king might hold out the golden scepter, that he may live. I have not been called to come in to the king these thirty days.”

When the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther came near and touched the top of the scepter.

And it was so, when the king H4428 saw H7200 (8800) Esther H635 the queen H4436 standing H5975 (8802) in the court H2691, [that] she obtained H5375 (8804) favour H2580 in his sight H5869: and the king H4428 held out H3447 (8686) to Esther H635 the golden H2091 sceptre H8275 that [was] in his hand H3027. So Esther H635 drew near H7126 (8799), and touched H5060 (8799) the top H7218 of the sceptre H8275.

and it cometh to pass, at the king’s seeing Esther the queen standing in the court, she hath received grace in his eyes, and the king holdeth out to Esther the golden sceptre that is in his hand, and Esther draweth near, and toucheth the top of the sceptre.
