Leading the Thirsty to the Living Water EGP Blog post from June 14, 2013

This is from one of our supporters, Bryan Fields. It’s always awesome to guide the thirsty to the Living Water! Thanks for sharing your story, Bryan.

This year I got the opportunity to go to Church Camp as a (sponsor, mentor, councillor, chaperone) however you would like to put it. I had the time of my life. I had the 9, 10, 11 year old boys, so my hands was full.

It was a smaller camp about 150 kids, but our worship was off the charts, God was with us every moment, it could be felt in our hearts with no doubt. We had to the best of my knowledge 49 saved and or re-dedicate their hearts and service to our Lord Jesus Christ. My heart swells with joy over this. Also it was a first for me.

I lead a cabin devotion to the young men in our room. I was nervous since I have never done such, but the camp administrator asked me so I did. But to be honest I was and am overjoyed to teach our youngsters and whoever will listen about our Lord and Savior.

I taught what the Holy Bible is. I had their attention the whole time it was great. Usually devotions are 10 to 15 minutes, nope not mine it turned out to be 40 minutes. I trusted in God to lead my devotion and he did that and so much more.

God truly has a plan for us all. We have to seek it through Him and it will be Graced upon us.

Thank you for reading this and God Bless You ALL. (Sorry if I misspelled anything, just a country boy)
