Where Is Your Wilderness? EGP Blog post from June 18, 2013

This is a beautifully shot video about making it a point to take time out of the day God has given you to pull away from everything and spend time talking with and worshiping Him. To some that is in your room, others it is on a walk, others it’s at a mountain or beach…find yours…and go there…unplug…and spend time with the Father and Creator!

(NKJV) “So He [Jesus] Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.”

Another great video by them with a poem inspired by John Bunyan (Pilgrim’s Progress), called Pater Noster (Latin for “Our Father”).

Who would true valour see,
Let him come hither;
One here will constant be,
Come wind, come weather
There’s no discouragement
Shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent
To be a pilgrim.

Whoso beset him round
With dismal stories
Do but themselves confound;
His strength the more is.
No lion can him fright,
He’ll with a giant fight,
He will have a right
To be a pilgrim.

Hobgoblin nor foul fiend
Can daunt his spirit,
He knows he at the end
Shall life inherit.
Then fancies fly away,
He’ll fear not what men say,
He’ll labor night and day
To be a pilgrim.
