It’s not like you, ‘do these three steps and He’ll reward you.’ It’s not that, it’s just He can trust you with more, the deeper you go in. Because the farther you go with Him, the more you have to leave behind. …

There’s a measure of [God’s] presence instantly in the thanksgiving realm. He says you ‘enter His gates with thanksgiving.’ … A thankful heart doesn’t have to think about giving thanks. A thankful heart doesn’t have to make a decision. … Because a thankful heart is now overflowing with gratitude for what God has done. …

Praise is where you discover He doesn’t just heal, He’s the Healer. He doesn’t just provide, He’s the Provider. He is the Source of all life. … In this atmosphere of praise is where we begin to connect with His nature. … If I see His nature, the most normal thing in the world is to want to declare His greatness.”
