Because the farther you go with Him, the more you have to leave behind. …

There’s a measure of [God’s] presence instantly in the thanksgiving realm. He says you ‘enter His gates with thanksgiving.’ … A thankful heart doesn’t have to think about giving thanks. A thankful heart doesn’t have to make a decision. … Because a thankful heart is now overflowing with gratitude for what God has done. …

Praise is where you discover He doesn’t just heal, He’s the Healer. He doesn’t just provide, He’s the Provider. He is the Source of all life. … In this atmosphere of praise is where we begin to connect with His nature. … If I see His nature, the most normal thing in the world is to want to declare His greatness.”
