There was of Saul’s house a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him to David; and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” He said, “I am your servant.”

και ειπεν ο βασιλευς ει υπολελειπται εκ του οικου σαουλ ετι ανηρ και ποιησω μετ αυτου ελεος θεου και ειπεν σιβα προς τον βασιλεα ετι εστιν υιος τω ιωναθαν πεπληγως τους ποδας

The king said to him, “Where is he?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.”

And the king H4428 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, Where H375 is he? And Ziba H6717 said H559 (QalImpf) unto the king, H4428 Behold, he is in the house H1004 of Machir, H4353 the son H1121 of Ammiel, H5988 in Lo-debar. H3810

Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “All that belonged to Saul and to all his house I have given to your master’s son.

και εκαλεσεν ο βασιλευς σιβα το παιδαριον σαουλ και ειπεν προς αυτον παντα οσα εστιν τω σαουλ και ολω τω οικω αυτου δεδωκα τω υιω του κυριου σου

Till the land for him—you, your sons, and your servants. Bring in the harvest, that your master’s son may have bread to eat; but Mephibosheth your master’s son will always eat bread at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

και εργα αυτω την γην συ και οι υιοι σου και οι δουλοι σου και εισοισεις τω υιω του κυριου σου αρτους και εδεται αυτους και μεμφιβοσθε υιος του κυριου σου φαγεται δια παντος αρτον επι της τραπεζης μου και τω σιβα ησαν πεντεκαιδεκα υιοι και εικοσι δουλοι

Then Ziba said to the king, “According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so your servant will do.” So Mephibosheth ate at the king’s table like one of the king’s sons.

Then said H559 (QalImpf) Ziba H6717 unto the king, H4428 According to all that my lord H113 the king H4428 hath commanded H6680 (PielImpf) his servant, H5650 so shall thy servant H5650 do. H6213 (QalImpf) As for Mephibosheth, H4648 said the king, he shall eat H398 (QalActPtc) at my table, H7979 as one H259 of the king’s H4428 sons. H1121

και ειπεν σιβα προς τον βασιλεα κατα παντα οσα εντεταλται ο κυριος μου ο βασιλευς τω δουλω αυτου ουτως ποιησει ο δουλος σου και μεμφιβοσθε ησθιεν επι της τραπεζης δαυιδ καθως εις των υιων του βασιλεως

Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Mica. All who lived in Ziba’s house were servants to Mephibosheth.

When David was a little past the top, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a couple of donkeys saddled, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, and one hundred clusters of raisins, and one hundred summer fruits, and a container of wine.

και δαυιδ παρηλθεν βραχυ τι απο της ροως και ιδου σιβα το παιδαριον μεμφιβοσθε εις απαντην αυτου και ζευγος ονων επισεσαγμενων και επ αυτοις διακοσιοι αρτοι και εκατον σταφιδες και εκατον φοινικες και νεβελ οινου

The king said to Ziba, “What do you mean by these?” Ziba said, “The donkeys are for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that those who are faint in the wilderness may drink.”

And the king H4428 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Ziba, H6717 What meanest thou by these? And Ziba H6717 said, H559 (QalImpf) The asses H2543 be for the king’s H4428 household H1004 to ride on; H7392 (QalInf) and the bread H3899 and summer fruit H7019 for the young men H5288 to eat; H398 (QalInf) and the wine, H3196 that such as be faint H3287 in the wilderness H4057 may drink. και ειπεν ο βασιλευς προς σιβα τι ταυτα σοι και ειπεν σιβα τα υποζυγια τη οικια του βασιλεως του επικαθησθαι και οι αρτοι και οι φοινικες εις βρωσιν τοις παιδαριοις και ο οινος πιειν τοις εκλελυμενοις εν τη ερημω

The king said, “Where is your master’s son?” Ziba said to the king, “Behold, he is staying in Jerusalem; for he said, ‘Today the house of Israel will restore me the kingdom of my father.’”

And the king H4428 said, H559 (QalImpf) And where is thy master’s H113 son? H1121 And Ziba H6717 said H559 (QalImpf) unto the king, H4428 Behold, he abideth H3427 (QalActPtc) at Jerusalem: H3389 for he said, H559 (QalPerf) To day H3117 shall the house H1004 of Israel H3478 restore H7725 (HiphImpf) me the kingdom H4468 of my father. και ειπεν ο βασιλευς και που ο υιος του κυριου σου και ειπεν σιβα προς τον βασιλεα ιδου καθηται εν ιερουσαλημ οτι ειπεν σημερον επιστρεψουσιν μοι ο οικος ισραηλ την βασιλειαν του πατρος μου

Then the king said to Ziba, “Behold, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” Ziba said, “I bow down. Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, O king.”

Then said H559 (QalImpf) the king H4428 to Ziba, H6717 Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mephibosheth. H4648 And Ziba H6717 said, H559 (QalImpf) I humbly H7812 (HithPerf) beseech^§ thee that I may find H4672 (QalImpf) grace H2580 in thy sight, H5869 my lord, H113 O king. H4428

The king said to him, “Why do you speak any more of your matters? I say, you and Ziba divide the land.”
