^[45:7] και ηκουσεν αβδεμελεχ ο αιθιοψ και αυτος εν οικια του βασιλεως οτι εδωκαν ιερεμιαν εις τον λακκον και ο βασιλευς ην εν τη πυλη βενιαμιν

Ebedmelech went out of the king’s house, and spoke to the king, saying,

Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, “Take from here thirty men with you, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he dies.”

Then the king H4428 commanded H6680 (PielImpf) Ebed-melech H5663 the Ethiopian, H3569 saying, H559 (QalInf) Take H3947 (QalImpv) from hence thirty H7970 men H582 with thee,^§ H3027 and take up H5927 (HiphPerf) Jeremiah H3414 the prophet H5030 out of the dungeon, H953 before he die. H4191 (QalImpf)

^[45:10] και ενετειλατο ο βασιλευς τω αβδεμελεχ λεγων λαβε εις τας χειρας σου εντευθεν τριακοντα ανθρωπους και αναγαγε αυτον εκ του λακκου ινα μη αποθανη

So Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took from there rags and worn-out garments, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.

^[45:11] και ελαβεν αβδεμελεχ τους ανθρωπους και εισηλθεν εις την οικιαν του βασιλεως την υπογειον και ελαβεν εκειθεν παλαια ρακη και παλαια σχοινια και ερριψεν αυτα προς ιερεμιαν εις τον λακκον

Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, “Now put these rags and worn-out garments under your armpits under the cords.” Jeremiah did so.

And Ebed-melech H5663 the Ethiopian H3569 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Jeremiah, H3414 Put H7760 (QalImpv) now these old H1094 cast clouts H5499 and rotten rags H4418 under thine armholes H679 H3027 under the cords. H2256 And Jeremiah H3414 did H6213 (QalImpf) so.

^[45:12] και ειπεν ταυτα θες υποκατω των σχοινιων και εποιησεν ιερεμιας ουτως

“Go, and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I will bring my words on this city for evil, and not for good; and they will be accomplished before you in that day.

Go H1980 (QalInf) and speak H559 (QalPerf) to Ebed-melech H5663 the Ethiopian, H3569 saying, H559 (QalInf) Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts, H6635 the God H430 of Israel; H3478 Behold, I will bring H935 (HiphPtc) my words H1697 upon this city H5892 for evil, H7451 and not for good; H2896 and they shall be accomplished in that day H3117 before H6440 thee.

^[46:16] πορευου και ειπον προς αβδεμελεχ τον αιθιοπα ουτως ειπεν κυριος ο θεος ισραηλ ιδου εγω φερω τους λογους μου επι την πολιν ταυτην εις κακα και ουκ εις αγαθα
