Jeremiah 39 (WEBP)
[1] In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem, and besieged it.
[2] In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, a breach was made in the city.
[3] All the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate: Nergal Sharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim the Rabsaris, Nergal Sharezer the Rabmag, with all the rest of the princes of the king of Babylon.
[4] When Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, then they fled and went out of the city by night, by the way of the king’s garden, through the gate between the two walls; and he went out toward the Arabah.
[5] But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. When they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; and he pronounced judgment on him.
[6] Then the king of Babylon killed Zedekiah’s sons in Riblah before his eyes. The king of Babylon also killed all the nobles of Judah.
[7] Moreover he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
[8] The Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the people’s houses with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
[9] Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the rest of the people who remained in the city, the deserters also who fell away to him, and the rest of the people who remained.
[10] But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, who had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
[11] Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon commanded Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard concerning Jeremiah, saying,
[12] “Take him and take care of him. Do him no harm; but do to him even as he tells you.”
[13] So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Nergal Sharezer, Rabmag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon
[14] sent and took Jeremiah out of the court of the guard, and committed him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, that he should bring him home. So he lived among the people.
[15] Now Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the guard, saying,
[16] “Go, and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I will bring my words on this city for evil, and not for good; and they will be accomplished before you in that day.
[17] But I will deliver you in that day,” says Yahweh; “and you will not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
[18] For I will surely save you. You won’t fall by the sword, but you will escape with your life, because you have put your trust in me,” says Yahweh.’ ”

Jeremiah 39 (KJVS)
[1] In the ninth H8671 year H8141 of Zedekiah H6667 king H4428 of Judah H3063, in the tenth H6224 month H2320, came H935 (8804) Nebuchadrezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 and all his army H2428 against Jerusalem H3389, and they besieged H6696 (8799) it.
[2] [And] in the eleventh H6249 H6240 year H8141 of Zedekiah H6667, in the fourth H7243 month H2320, the ninth H8672 [day] of the month H2320, the city H5892 was broken up H1234 (8717).
[3] And all the princes H8269 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894 came in H935 (8799), and sat H3427 (8799) in the middle H8432 gate H8179, [even] Nergalsharezer H5371, Samgarnebo H5562, Sarsechim H8310, Rabsaris H7249, Nergalsharezer H5371, Rabmag H7248, with all the residue H7611 of the princes H8269 of the king H4428 of Babylon H894.
[4] And it came to pass, [that] when Zedekiah H6667 the king H4428 of Judah H3063 saw H7200 (8804) them, and all the men H582 of war H4421, then they fled H1272 (8799), and went forth H3318 (8799) out of the city H5892 by night H3915, by the way H1870 of the king’s H4428 garden H1588, by the gate H8179 betwixt the two walls H2346: and he went out H3318 (8799) the way H1870 of the plain H6160.
[5] But the Chaldeans H3778’ army H2428 pursued H7291 (8799) after H310 them, and overtook H5381 (8686) Zedekiah H6667 in the plains H6160 of Jericho H3405: and when they had taken H3947 (8799) him, they brought him up H5927 (8686) to Nebuchadnezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 to Riblah H7247 in the land H776 of Hamath H2574, where he gave H1696 (8762) judgment H4941 upon him.
[6] Then the king H4428 of Babylon H894 slew H7819 (8799) the sons H1121 of Zedekiah H6667 in Riblah H7247 before his eyes H5869: also the king H4428 of Babylon H894 slew H7819 (8804) all the nobles H2715 of Judah H3063.
[7] Moreover he put out H5786 (8765) Zedekiah’s H6667 eyes H5869, and bound H631 (8799) him with chains H5178, to carry H935 (8687) him to Babylon H894.
[8] And the Chaldeans H3778 burned H8313 (8804) the king’s H4428 house H1004, and the houses H1004 of the people H5971, with fire H784, and brake down H5422 (8804) the walls H2346 of Jerusalem H3389.
[9] Then Nebuzaradan H5018 the captain H7227 of the guard H2876 carried away captive H1540 (8689) into Babylon H894 the remnant H3499 of the people H5971 that remained H7604 (8737) in the city H5892, and those that fell away H5307 (8802), that fell H5307 (8804) to him, with the rest H3499 of the people H5971 that remained H7604 (8737).
[10] But Nebuzaradan H5018 the captain H7227 of the guard H2876 left H7604 (8689) of the poor H1800 of the people H5971, which had nothing H3972, in the land H776 of Judah H3063, and gave H5414 (8799) them vineyards H3754 and fields H3010 at the same time H3117.
[11] Now Nebuchadrezzar H5019 king H4428 of Babylon H894 gave charge H6680 (8762) concerning Jeremiah H3414 to H3027 Nebuzaradan H5018 the captain H7227 of the guard H2876, saying H559 (8800),
[12] Take H3947 (8798) him, and look well H5869 H7760 (8798) to him, and do H6213 (8799) him no harm H3972 H7451; but do H6213 (8798) unto him even as he shall say H1696 (8762) unto thee.
[13] So Nebuzaradan H5018 the captain H7227 of the guard H2876 sent H7971 (8799), and Nebushasban H5021, Rabsaris H7249, and Nergalsharezer H5371, Rabmag H7248, and all the king H4428 of Babylon’s H894 princes H7227;
[14] Even they sent H7971 (8799), and took H3947 (8799) Jeremiah H3414 out of the court H2691 of the prison H4307, and committed H5414 (8799) him unto Gedaliah H1436 the son H1121 of Ahikam H296 the son H1121 of Shaphan H8227, that he should carry H3318 (8687) him home H1004: so he dwelt H3427 (8799) among H8432 the people H5971.
[15] Now the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 came unto Jeremiah H3414, while he was shut up H6113 (8803) in the court H2691 of the prison H4307, saying H559 (8800),
[16] Go H1980 (8800) and speak H559 (8804) to Ebedmelech H5663 the Ethiopian H3569, saying H559 (8800), Thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 of hosts H6635, the God H430 of Israel H3478; Behold, I will bring H935 (8688) my words H1697 upon this city H5892 for evil H7451, and not for good H2896; and they shall be [accomplished] in that day H3117 before H6440 thee.
[17] But I will deliver H5337 (8689) thee in that day H3117, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068: and thou shalt not be given H5414 (8735) into the hand H3027 of the men H582 of whom H6440 thou [art] afraid H3016 (8801).
[18] For I will surely H4422 (8763) deliver H4422 (8762) thee, and thou shalt not fall H5307 (8799) by the sword H2719, but thy life H5315 shall be for a prey H7998 unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust H982 (8804) in me, saith H5002 (8803) the LORD H3068.

Jeremiah 39 (YLT)
[1] In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, come hath Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his force unto Jerusalem, and they lay siege against it;
[2] in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, in the ninth of the month, hath the city been broken up;
[3] and come in do all the heads of the king of Babylon, and they sit at the middle gate, Nergal-Sharezer, Samgar-Nebo, Sarsechim, chief of the eunuchs, Nergal-Sharezer, chief of the Mages, and all the rest of the heads of the king of Babylon.
[4] And it cometh to pass, when Zedekiah king of Judah, and all the men of war, have seen them, that they flee and go forth by night from the city, the way of the king’s garden, through the gate between the two walls, and he goeth forth the way of the plain.
[5] And the forces of the Chaldeans pursue after them, and overtake Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and they take him, and bring him up unto Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, to Riblah, in the land of Hamath, and he speaketh with him-judgments.
[6] And the king of Babylon slaughtereth the sons of Zedekiah, in Riblah, before his eyes, yea, all the freemen of Judah hath the king of Babylon slaughtered.
[7] And the eyes of Zedekiah he hath blinded, and he bindeth him with brazen fetters, to bring him in to Babylon.
[8] And the house of the king, and the house of the people, have the Chaldeans burnt with fire, and the walls of Jerusalem they have broken down.
[9] And the remnant of the people who are left in the city, and those falling who have fallen to him, and the remnant of the people who are left, hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, removed to Babylon.
[10] And of the poor people, who have nothing, hath Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, left in the land of Judah, and he giveth to them vineyards and fields on the same day.
[11] And Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon giveth a charge concerning Jeremiah, by the hand of Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners, saying,
[12] ‘Take him, and place thine eyes upon him, and do no evil thing to him, but as he speaketh unto thee, so do with him.’
[13] And Nebuzar-Adan, chief of the executioners sendeth, and Nebushazban, chief of the eunuchs, and Nergal-Sharezer, chief of the Mages, and all the chiefs of the king of Babylon;
[14] yea, they send and take Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and give him unto Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, to carry him home, and he dwelleth in the midst of the people.
[15] And unto Jeremiah hath a word of Jehovah been-in his being detained in the court of the prison-saying:
[16] ‘Go, and thou hast spoken to Ebed-Melech the Cushite, saying: Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel: Lo, I am bringing in My words unto this city for evil, and not for good, and they have been before thee in that day.
[17] And I have delivered thee in that day-an affirmation of Jehovah-and thou art not given into the hand of the men of whose face thou art afraid,
[18] for I do certainly deliver thee, and by sword thou fallest not, and thy life hath been to thee for a spoil, for thou hast trusted in Me-an affirmation of Jehovah.’
