Strong’s Greek Lexicon
apparently a primary verb; to pour out as a libation, i.e. (figuratively) to devote (one’s life or blood, as a sacrifice) (“spend”):—(be ready to) be offered.
Owing to changes in the enumeration while in progress, there were no words left for numbers 2717 and 3203–3302, which were therefore silently dropped out of the vocabulary and references as redundant.
Thayer’s Greek Definitions
1) to pour out as a drink offering, make a libation
2) in the NT to be offered as a libation
