[1] King Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea.
[2] Aren’t all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
[3] For Mordecai the Jew was next to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and accepted by the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his descendants.

[2] And all the acts of his power and of his might , and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai , whereunto the king advanced () him, [are] they not written () in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia ?
[3] For Mordecai the Jew [was] next unto king Ahasuerus , and great among the Jews , and accepted () of the multitude of his brethren , seeking () the wealth of his people , and speaking () peace to all his seed .

Esther 10 (YLT)

[1] And the king Ahasuerus setteth a tribute on the land and the isles of the sea;
[2] and all the work of his strength, and his might, and the explanation of the greatness of Mordecai with which the king made him great, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of Media and Persia?
[3] For Mordecai the Jew is second to king Ahasuerus, and a great man of the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking good for his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
