When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made a proclamation, and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to Yahweh.”

Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said, “Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Why should the Egyptians talk, saying, ‘He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth’? Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.

Yahweh spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. He turned again into the camp, but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, didn’t depart from the Tent.

He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Moses said to him, “If your presence doesn’t go with me, don’t carry us up from here.

For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Isn’t it that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?”

και πως γνωστον εσται αληθως οτι ευρηκα χαριν παρα σοι εγω τε και ο λαος σου αλλ η συμπορευομενου σου μεθ ημων και ενδοξασθησομαι εγω τε και ο λαος σου παρα παντα τα εθνη οσα επι της γης εστιν

He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim Yahweh’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”

και αφελω την χειρα και τοτε οψη τα οπισω μου το δε προσωπον μου ουκ οφθησεται σοι

Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, “Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.

When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.

When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.

The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone; so Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

All the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

και εξηλθεν πασα συναγωγη υιων ισραηλ απο μωυση

They received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, with which to make it. They kept bringing free will offerings to him every morning.

The cherubim spread out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

They made two more rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its front, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

εαν ολοκαυτωμα το δωρον αυτου εκ των βοων αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει προς την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου προσοισει αυτο δεκτον εναντιον κυριου

He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

και σφαξουσιν αυτο εκ πλαγιων του θυσιαστηριου προς βορραν εναντι κυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα αυτου επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω

“ ‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.

And if his oblation H7133 be a sacrifice H2077 of peace offering, H8002 if he offer H7126 (HiphPtc) it of the herd; H1241 whether it be a male H2145 or female, H5347 he shall offer H7126 (HiphImpf) it without blemish H8549 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

εαν δε θυσια σωτηριου το δωρον αυτου τω κυριω εαν μεν εκ των βοων αυτου προσαγαγη εαν τε αρσεν εαν τε θηλυ αμωμον προσαξει αυτο εναντιον κυριου

If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;

If he offer H7126 (HiphPtc) a lamb H3775 for his offering, H7133 then shall he offer H7126 (HiphPerf) it before H6440 the Lord. H3068

εαν αρνα προσαγαγη το δωρον αυτου προσαξει αυτο εναντι κυριου

and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

And he shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the head H7218 of his offering, H7133 and kill H7819 (QalPerf) it before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and Aaron’s H175 sons H1121 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 thereof round about H5439 upon the altar. και επιθησει τας χειρας επι την κεφαλην του δωρου αυτου και σφαξει αυτο παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω

“ ‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.

And if his offering H7133 be a goat, H5795 then he shall offer H7126 (HiphPerf) it before H6440 the Lord. H3068

εαν δε απο των αιγων το δωρον αυτου και προσαξει εναντι κυριου

He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

And he shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the head H7218 of it, and kill H7819 (QalPerf) it before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation: H4150 and the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 thereof upon the altar H4196 round about. H5439

και επιθησει τας χειρας επι την κεφαλην αυτου και σφαξουσιν αυτο εναντι κυριου παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω

He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh.

And he shall bring H935 (HiphPerf) the bullock H6499 unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150 before H6440 the Lord; H3068 and shall lay H5564 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 upon the bullock’s H6499 head, H7218 and kill H7819 (QalPerf) the bullock H6499 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

και προσαξει τον μοσχον παρα την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου εναντι κυριου και επιθησει την χειρα αυτου επι την κεφαλην του μοσχου εναντι κυριου και σφαξει τον μοσχον ενωπιον κυριου

The priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before Yahweh, before the veil of the sanctuary.

and the priest H3548 shall dip H2881 (QalPerf) his finger H676 in the blood, H1818 and sprinkle H5137 (HiphPerf) of the blood H1818 seven H7651 times H6471 before H6440 the Lord, H3068 before H6440 the vail H6532 of the sanctuary. H6944

και βαψει ο ιερευς τον δακτυλον εις το αιμα και προσρανει απο του αιματος επτακις εναντι κυριου κατα το καταπετασμα το αγιον

The priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Yahweh, which is in the Tent of Meeting; and he shall pour out the rest of the blood of the bull at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And the priest H3548 shall put H5414 (QalPerf) some of the blood H1818 upon the horns H7161 of the altar H4196 of sweet H5561 incense H7004 before H6440 the Lord, H3068 which is in the tabernacle H168 of the congregation; H4150 and shall pour H8210 (QalImpf) all the blood H1818 of the bullock H6499 at the bottom H3247 of the altar H4196 of the burnt offering, H5930 which is at the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150

και επιθησει ο ιερευς απο του αιματος του μοσχου επι τα κερατα του θυσιαστηριου του θυμιαματος της συνθεσεως του εναντιον κυριου ο εστιν εν τη σκηνη του μαρτυριου και παν το αιμα του μοσχου εκχεει παρα την βασιν του θυσιαστηριου των ολοκαυτωματων ο εστιν παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.

when the sin, H2403 which they have sinned H2398 (QalPerf) against it, is known, H3045 (NiphPerf) then the congregation H6951 shall offer H7126 (HiphPerf) a young H1241 H1121 bullock H6499 for the sin, H2403 and bring H935 (HiphPerf) him before H6440 the tabernacle H168 of the congregation. H4150

και γνωσθη αυτοις η αμαρτια ην ημαρτον εν αυτη και προσαξει η συναγωγη μοσχον εκ βοων αμωμον περι της αμαρτιας και προσαξει αυτον παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου
