You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers.

Hear, Israel! You are to pass over the Jordan today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,

ακουε ισραηλ συ διαβαινεις σημερον τον ιορδανην εισελθειν κληρονομησαι εθνη μεγαλα και ισχυροτερα μαλλον η υμεις πολεις μεγαλας και τειχηρεις εως του ουρανου

Know therefore today that Yahweh your God is he who goes over before you as a devouring fire. He will destroy them and he will bring them down before you. So you shall drive them out and make them perish quickly, as Yahweh has spoken to you.

Don’t say in your heart, after Yahweh your God has thrust them out from before you, “For my righteousness Yahweh has brought me in to possess this land;” because Yahweh drives them out before you because of the wickedness of these nations.

Speak H559 (QalImpf) not thou in thine heart, H3824 after that the Lord H3068 thy God H430 hath cast them out H1920 (QalInf) from before H6440 thee, saying, H559 (QalInf) For my righteousness H6666 the Lord H3068 hath brought me in H935 (HiphPerf) to possess H3423 (QalInf) this land: H776 but for the wickedness H7564 of these nations H1471 the Lord H3068 doth drive them out H3423 (HiphPtc) from before H6440 thee.

Not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart do you go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations Yahweh your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may establish the word which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Know therefore that Yahweh your God doesn’t give you this good land to possess for your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

When Yahweh sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, “Go up and possess the land which I have given you,” you rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh your God, and you didn’t believe him or listen to his voice.

Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”

but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,

η δε γη εις ην εισπορευη εκει κληρονομησαι αυτην γη ορεινη και πεδινη εκ του υετου του ουρανου πιεται υδωρ

then Yahweh will drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

then will the Lord H3068 drive out H3423 (HiphPerf) all these nations H1471 from before H6440 you, and ye shall possess H3423 (QalPerf) greater H1419 nations H1471 and mightier H6099 than yourselves.

και εκβαλει κυριος παντα τα εθνη ταυτα απο προσωπου υμων και κληρονομησετε εθνη μεγαλα και ισχυροτερα μαλλον η υμεις

It shall happen, when Yahweh your God brings you into the land that you go to possess, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal.

And it shall come to pass, when the Lord H3068 thy God H430 hath brought thee in H935 (HiphImpf) unto the land H776 whither thou goest H935 (QalActPtc) to possess H3423 (QalInf) it, that thou shalt put H5414 (QalPerf) the blessing H1293 upon mount H2022 Gerizim, H1630 and the curse H7045 upon mount H2022 Ebal. These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess all the days that you live on the earth.

You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods: on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

Deuteronomy 12:29 Heb. inheritest or possessest them

εαν δε εξολεθρευση κυριος ο θεος σου τα εθνη εις ους συ εισπορευη εκει κληρονομησαι την γην αυτων απο προσωπου σου και κατακληρονομησης αυτους και κατοικησης εν τη γη αυτων

However there will be no poor with you (for Yahweh will surely bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess)

δικαιως το δικαιον διωξη ινα ζητε και εισελθοντες κληρονομησητε την γην ην κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι

When you have come to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, “I will set a king over me, like all the nations that are around me,”

For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you.

For all that do H6213 (QalActPtc) these things are an abomination H8441 unto the Lord: H3068 and because H1558 of these abominations H8441 the Lord H3068 thy God H430 doth drive them out H3423 (HiphPtc) from before H6440 thee.

For these nations that you shall dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery and to diviners; but as for you, Yahweh your God has not allowed you so to do.

For these nations, H1471 which thou shalt possess,^§ H3423 (QalActPtc) hearkened H8085 (QalImpf) unto observers of times, H6049 (PoelPtc) and unto diviners: H7080 (QalActPtc) but as for thee, the Lord H3068 thy God H430 hath not suffered H5414 (QalPerf) thee so to do.

Deuteronomy 18:14 Or, inherit

When Yahweh your God cuts off the nations whose land Yahweh your God gives you, and you succeed them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,

εαν δε αφανιση κυριος ο θεος σου τα εθνη α ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι την γην αυτων και κατακληρονομησητε αυτους και κατοικησητε εν ταις πολεσιν αυτων και εν τοις οικοις αυτων

you shall set apart three cities for yourselves in the middle of your land, which Yahweh your God gives you to possess.

You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which they of old time have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit, in the land that Yahweh your God gives you to possess.

Thou shalt not remove H5253 (HiphImpf) thy neighbour’s H7453 landmark, H1366 which they of old time H7223 have set H1379 (QalPerf) in thine inheritance, H5159 which thou shalt inherit H5157 (QalImpf) in the land H776 that the Lord H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 (QalActPtc) thee to possess H3423 (QalInf) it.

ου μετακινησεις ορια του πλησιον σου α εστησαν οι πατερες σου εν τη κληρονομια σου η κατεκληρονομηθης εν τη γη η κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι εν κληρω

If someone is found slain in the land which Yahweh your God gives you to possess, lying in the field, and it isn’t known who has struck him,

If one be found H4672 (NiphImpf) slain H2491 in the land H127 which the Lord H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 (QalActPtc) thee to possess H3423 (QalInf) it, lying H5307 (QalActPtc) in the field, H7704 and it be not known H3045 (NiphPerf) who hath slain H5221 (HiphPerf) him:

εαν δε ευρεθη τραυματιας εν τη γη η κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι κληρονομησαι πεπτωκως εν τω πεδιω και ουκ οιδασιν τον παταξαντα

You may charge a foreigner interest; but you shall not charge your brother interest, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.

unto a stranger H5237 thou mayest lend upon usury; H5391 (HiphImpf) but unto thy brother H251 thou shalt not lend upon usury: H5391 (HiphImpf) that the Lord H3068 thy God H430 may bless H1288 (PielImpf) thee in all that thou settest H4916 thine hand H3027 to in the land H776 whither thou goest H935 (QalActPtc) to possess H3423 (QalInf) it.

Therefore it shall be, when Yahweh your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around, in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky. You shall not forget.

It shall be, when you have come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, possess it, and dwell in it,

Yahweh will make the pestilence cling to you, until he has consumed you from off the land where you go in to possess it.

The Lord H3068 shall make the pestilence H1698 cleave H1692 (HiphImpf) unto thee, until he have consumed H3615 (PielInf) thee from off the land, H127 whither thou goest H935 (QalActPtc) to possess H3423 (QalInf) it.

Locusts will consume all of your trees and the fruit of your ground.

Deuteronomy 28:42 Or, possess

παντα τα ξυλινα σου και τα γενηματα της γης σου εξαναλωσει η ερυσιβη

It will happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be plucked from the land that you are going in to possess.

Yahweh your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers.

and the Lord H3068 thy God H430 will bring H935 (HiphPerf) thee into the land H776 which thy fathers H1 possessed, H3423 (QalPerf) and thou shalt possess H3423 (QalPerf) it; and he will do thee good, H3190 (HiphPerf) and multiply H7235 (HiphPerf) thee above thy fathers. H1

και εισαξει σε κυριος ο θεος σου εις την γην ην εκληρονομησαν οι πατερες σου και κληρονομησεις αυτην και ευ σε ποιησει και πλεοναστον σε ποιησει υπερ τους πατερας σου

For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
