Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the rest of the people who were left in the city and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon—all the rest of the multitude.

And the rest of the people, those left in the city, and those falling who have fallen to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude, hath Nebuzaradan chief of the executioners removed;

The Chaldeans broke up the pillars of bronze that were in Yahweh’s house and the bases and the bronze sea that were in Yahweh’s house, and carried the bronze pieces to Babylon.

And the pillars H5982 of brass H5178 that [were] in the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 and the bases, H4350 and the brasen H5178 sea H3220 that [was] in the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 did the Chaldees H3778 break in pieces, H7665 (PielPerf) and carried H5375 (QalImpf) the brass H5178 of them to Babylon. And the pillars of brass that are in the house of Jehovah, and the bases, and the sea of brass, that is in the house of Jehovah, have the Chaldeans broken in pieces, and bear away their brass to Babylon.

They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they ministered.

And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they minister they have taken,

The captain of the guard took away the fire pans, the basins, that which was of gold, for gold, and that which was of silver, for silver.

and the fire-pans, and the bowls that are wholly of silver, hath the chief of the executioners taken.

The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases, which Solomon had made for Yahweh’s house, the bronze of all these vessels was not weighed.

The two H8147 pillars, H5982 one H259 sea, H3220 and the bases H4350 which Solomon H8010 had made H6213 (QalPerf) for the house H1004 of the Lord; H3068 the brass H5178 of all these vessels H3627 was without H3808 weight. H4948

The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah, there was no weighing of the brass of all these vessels;

and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and five men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe, the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.

As for the people who were left in the land of Judah whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor.

And the people that is left in the land of Judah whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath left-he appointeth over them Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan.

But in the seventh month, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal offspring came, and ten men with him, and struck Gedaliah so that he died, with the Jews and the Chaldeans that were with him at Mizpah.

These written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and struck their tents and the Meunim who were found there; and they destroyed them utterly to this day, and lived in their place, because there was pasture there for their flocks.

and Beerah his son, whom Tilgath Pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive. He was prince of the Reubenites.

Johanan became the father of Azariah, who executed the priest’s office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

These are they whom David set over the service of song in Yahweh’s house after the ark came to rest there.

And these are they whom David stationed over the parts of the song of the house of Jehovah, from the resting of the ark,

They gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.

When all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and lived in them.

And all the men of Israel who are in the valley see that they have fled, and that Saul and his sons have died, and they forsake their cities and flee, and the Philistines come and dwell in them.

So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Yahweh, because of Yahweh’s word, which he didn’t keep, and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire,

And Saul dieth because of his trespass that he trespassed against Jehovah, against the word of Jehovah that he kept not, and also for asking at a familiar spirit-to inquire,-

Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who showed themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to Yahweh’s word concerning Israel.

This is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them at one time.

And this is an account of the mighty ones whom David hath: Jashobeam son of a Hachmonite is head of the thirty; he is lifting up his spear against three hundred-wounded, at one time.

David longed, and said, “Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”

And David H1732 longed, H183 (HithImpf) and said, H559 (QalImpf) Oh that one would give me drink H8248 (HiphImpf) of the water H4325 of the well H953 of Bethlehem, H1035 that [is] at the gate! H8179

and David longeth, and saith, ‘Who doth give me to drink water from the well of Beth-Lehem, that is at the gate!’

The three broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, took it, and brought it to David; but David would not drink any of it, but poured it out to Yahweh,

And the three break through the camp of the Philistines, and draw water from the well of Beth-Lehem, that is at the gate, and bear and bring in unto David, and David hath not been willing to drink it, and poureth it out to Jehovah,

These are those who went over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all who lived in the valleys, both toward the east and toward the west.

As he went to Ziklag, some from Manasseh joined him: Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of thousands who were of Manasseh.

In his going unto Ziglag there have fallen unto him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillthai, heads of the thousands that are of Manasseh;

Of the half-tribe of Manasseh: eighteen thousand, who were mentioned by name, to come and make David king.

And of the half H2677 tribe H4294 of Manasseh H4519 eighteen H8083 H6240 thousand, H505 which were expressed H5344 (NiphPerf) by name, H8034 to come H935 (QalInf) and make David H1732 king. H4427 (HiphInf)

And of the half of the tribe of Manasseh are eighteen thousand, who have been defined by name, to come in to cause David to reign.

David went up with all Israel to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there God Yahweh’s ark that sits above the cherubim, that is called by the Name.

And David H1732 went up, H5927 (QalImpf) and all Israel, H3478 to Baalah, H1173 [that is], to Kirjathjearim, H7157 which [belonged] to Judah, H3063 to bring up H5927 (HiphInf) thence the ark H727 of God H430 the Lord, H3068 that dwelleth H3427 (QalActPtc) [between] the cherubims, H3742 whose name H8034 is called H7121 (NiphPerf) [on it].

and David goeth up, and all Israel, to Baalah, unto Kirjath-Jearim that is to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God Jehovah, inhabiting the cherubs, where the Name is called on.

Yahweh’s anger burned against Uzza, and he struck him because he put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.

And the anger H639 of the Lord H3068 was kindled H2734 (QalImpf) against Uzza, H5798 and he smote H5221 (HiphImpf) him, because he put H7971 (QalPerf) his hand H3027 to the ark: H727 and there he died H4191 (QalImpf) before H6440 God. H430

and the anger of Jehovah is kindled against Uzza, and He smiteth him, because that he hath put forth his hand on the ark, and he dieth there before God.

David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up Yahweh’s ark to its place, which he had prepared for it.

And David H1732 gathered H6950 all Israel H3478 together H6950 (HiphImpf) to Jerusalem, H3389 to bring up H5927 (HiphInf) the ark H727 of the Lord H3068 unto his place, H4725 which he had prepared H3559 (HiphPerf) for it.

And David assembleth all Israel unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Jehovah unto its place that he had prepared for it.

They brought in God’s ark, and set it in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

And they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;

Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

Which He hath made with Abraham, And His oath-to Isaac,

to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.

and with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;

In all places in which I have walked with all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people, saying, ‘Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’ ” ’

It will happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your offspring after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

What one nation in the earth is like your people Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, to make you a name by great and awesome things, in driving out nations from before your people whom you redeemed out of Egypt?

And what one H259 nation H1471 in the earth H776 [is] like thy people H5971 Israel, H3478 whom God H430 went H1980 (QalPerf) to redeem H6299 (QalInf) [to be] his own people, H5971 to make H7760 (QalInf) thee a name H8034 of greatness H1420 and terribleness, H3372 (NiphPtc) by driving out H1644 (PielInf) nations H1471 from before H6440 thy people, H5971 whom thou hast redeemed H6299 (QalPerf) out of Egypt? ‘And who is as Thy people Israel, one nation in the earth whom God hath gone to ransom to Him for a people, to make for Thee a name great and fearful, to cast out from the presence of Thy people whom Thou hast ransomed out of Egypt-nations?

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. Yahweh gave victory to David wherever he went.

Then David H1732 put H7760 (QalImpf) [garrisons] in Syriadamascus; H758 H1834 and the Syrians H758 became David’s H1732 servants, H5650 [and] brought H5375 (QalActPtc) gifts. H4503 Thus the Lord H3068 preserved H3467 (HiphImpf) David H1732 whithersoever he went. H1980 (QalPerf)

and David putteth garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Aramaeans are to David for servants, bearing a present, and Jehovah giveth salvation to David whithersoever he hath gone.

David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.
