ηνικα αν εισελθητε ηξετε προς λαον πεποιθοτα και η γη ευρυχωρος οτι παρεδωκεν αυτην ο θεος εν χειρι υμων τοπος ου ουκ εστιν εκει υστερημα παντος ρηματος οσα εν τη γη

Yet there is both straw and feed for our donkeys; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for your servant, and for the young man who is with your servants. There is no lack of anything.”

Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.

ειτ εμπαραγινεται σοι ωσπερ κακος οδοιπορος η πενια και η ενδεια ωσπερ αγαθος δρομευς (6:11Α) εαν δε αοκνος ης ηξει ωσπερ πηγη ο αμητος σου η δε ενδεια ωσπερ κακος δρομευς απαυτομολησει

There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.

There is H3426 that scattereth, H6340 (PielPtc) and yet increaseth; H3254 (NiphPtc) and [there is] that withholdeth H2820 (QalActPtc) more than is meet, H3476 but [it tendeth] to poverty. H4270

εισιν οι τα ιδια σπειροντες πλειονα ποιουσιν εισιν και οι συναγοντες ελαττονουνται

In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty.

In all labour H6089 there is profit: H4195 but the talk H1697 of the lips H8193 [tendeth] only to penury. H4270

εν παντι μεριμνωντι ενεστιν περισσον ο δε ηδυς και αναλγητος εν ενδεια εσται

The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty.

He who loves pleasure will be a poor man. He who loves wine and oil won’t be rich.

ανηρ ενδεης αγαπα ευφροσυνην φιλων οινον και ελαιον εις πλουτον

Whoever oppresses the poor for his own increase and whoever gives to the rich, both come to poverty.
