και ωκοδομησαν οι υιοι γαδ την δαιβων και την αταρωθ και την αροηρ

From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. Yahweh our God delivered up all before us.

εξ αροηρ η εστιν παρα το χειλος χειμαρρου αρνων και την πολιν την ουσαν εν τη φαραγγι και εως ορους του γαλααδ ουκ εγενηθη πολις ητις διεφυγεν ημας τας πασας παρεδωκεν κυριος ο θεος ημων εις τας χειρας ημων

This land we took in possession at that time: from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites;

And this land, H776 [which] we possessed H3423 (QalPerf) at that time, H6256 from Aroer, H6177 which [is] by the river H5158 Arnon, H769 and half H2677 mount H2022 Gilead, H1568 and the cities H5892 thereof, gave H5414 (QalPerf) I unto the Reubenites H7206 and to the Gadites. H1425

και την γην εκεινην εκληρονομησαμεν εν τω καιρω εκεινω απο αροηρ η εστιν επι του χειλους χειμαρρου αρνων και το ημισυ ορους γαλααδ και τας πολεις αυτου εδωκα τω ρουβην και τω γαδ

from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, even to Mount Zion (also called Hermon),

απο αροηρ η εστιν επι του χειλους χειμαρρου αρνων και επι του ορους του σηων ο εστιν αερμων

Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon;

σηων τον βασιλεα των αμορραιων ος κατωκει εν εσεβων κυριευων απο αροηρ η εστιν εν τη φαραγγι κατα μερος της φαραγγος και το ημισυ της γαλααδ εως ιαβοκ ορια υιων αμμων

from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;

From Aroer, H6177 that [is] upon the bank H8193 of the river H5158 Arnon, H769 and the city H5892 that [is] in the midst H8432 of the river, H5158 and all the plain H4334 of Medeba H4311 unto Dibon; H1769

απο αροηρ η εστιν επι του χειλους χειμαρρου αρνων και την πολιν την εν μεσω της φαραγγος και πασαν την μισωρ απο μαιδαβα εως δαιβαν

Their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;

And their coast H1366 was from Aroer, H6177 that [is] on the bank H8193 of the river H5158 Arnon, H769 and the city H5892 that [is] in the midst H8432 of the river, H5158 and all the plain H4334 by Medeba; H4311

και εγενηθη αυτων τα ορια απο αροηρ η εστιν κατα προσωπον φαραγγος αρνων και η πολις η εν τη φαραγγι αρνων και πασαν την μισωρ

Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is near Rabbah;

And their coast H1366 was Jazer, H3270 and all the cities H5892 of Gilead, H1568 and half H2677 the land H776 of the children H1121 of Ammon, H5983 unto Aroer H6177 that [is] before H6440 Rabbah; H7237

και εγενετο τα ορια αυτων ιαζηρ πασαι αι πολεις γαλααδ και το ημισυ γης υιων αμμων εως αροηρ η εστιν κατα προσωπον ραββα

Israel lived in Heshbon and its towns, and in Aroer and its towns, and in all the cities that are along the side of the Arnon for three hundred years! Why didn’t you recover them within that time?

While Israel H3478 dwelt H3427 (QalInf) in Heshbon H2809 and her towns, H1323 and in Aroer H6177 and her towns, H1323 and in all the cities H5892 that [be] along by the coasts H3027 of Arnon, H769 three H7969 hundred H3967 years? εν τω οικω ισραηλ εν εσεβων και εν ταις θυγατρασιν αυτης και εν ιαζηρ και εν ταις θυγατρασιν αυτης και εν πασαις ταις πολεσιν ταις παρα τον ιορδανην τριακοσια ετη τι οτι ουκ ερρυσαντο αυτους εν τω καιρω εκεινω

He struck them from Aroer until you come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and to Abelcheramim, with a very great slaughter. So the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

And he smote H5221 (HiphImpf) them from Aroer, H6177 even till thou come H935 (QalInf) to Minnith, H4511 [even] twenty H6242 cities, H5892 and unto the plain H58 of the vineyards, H3754 (QK) H64 with a very H3966 great H1419 slaughter. και επαταξεν αυτους απο αροηρ και εως του ελθειν εις σεμωιθ εικοσι πολεις εως αβελ αμπελωνων πληγην μεγαλην σφοδρα και ενετραπησαν οι υιοι αμμων απο προσωπου υιων ισραηλ

to those who were in Aroer, to those who were in Siphmoth, to those who were in Eshtemoa,

And to [them] which [were] in Aroer, H6177 and to [them] which [were] in Siphmoth, H8224 and to [them] which [were] in Eshtemoa, H851

και διεβησαν τον ιορδανην και παρενεβαλον εν αροηρ εκ δεξιων της πολεως της εν μεσω της φαραγγος γαδ και ελιεζερ

from the Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

απο του ιορδανου κατ ανατολας ηλιου πασαν την γην γαλααδ του γαδδι και του ρουβην και του μανασση απο αροηρ η εστιν επι του χειλους χειμαρρου αρνων και την γαλααδ και την βασαν

and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who lived in Aroer, even to Nebo and Baal Meon;

και βαλεκ υιος οζουζ υιος σαμα υιος ιωηλ ουτος κατωκησεν εν αροηρ και επι ναβαυ και βεελμαων

The cities of Aroer are forsaken. They will be for flocks, which shall lie down, and no one shall make them afraid.

The cities H5892 of Aroer H6177 [are] forsaken: H5800 (QalPasPtc) they shall be for flocks, H5739 which shall lie down, H7257 (QalPerf) and none shall make [them] afraid. H2729 (HiphPtc)

καταλελειμμενη εις τον αιωνα εις κοιτην ποιμνιων και αναπαυσιν και ουκ εσται ο διωκων

Inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way and watch. Ask him who flees, and her who escapes; say, ‘What has been done?’

O inhabitant H3427 (QalActPtc) of Aroer, H6177 stand H5975 (QalImpv) by the way, H1870 and espy; H6822 (PielImpv) ask H7592 (QalImpv) him that fleeth, H5127 (QalPtc) and her that escapeth, H4422 (NiphPtc) [and] say, H559 (QalImpv) What is done? H1961 (NiphPerf)

^[31:19] εφ οδου στηθι και επιδε καθημενη εν αροηρ και ερωτησον φευγοντα και σωζομενον και ειπον τι εγενετο
