ανθ ων κατελιπεν με και εποιησεν τη ασταρτη βδελυγματι σιδωνιων και τω χαμως και τοις ειδωλοις μωαβ και τω βασιλει αυτων προσοχθισματι υιων αμμων και ουκ επορευθη εν ταις οδοις μου του ποιησαι το ευθες ενωπιον εμου ως δαυιδ ο πατηρ αυτου

They cried aloud, and cut themselves in their way with knives and lances until the blood gushed out on them.

They feared Yahweh, and also served their own gods, after the ways of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.

The statutes and the ordinances, and the law and the commandment which he wrote for you, you shall observe to do forever more. You shall not fear other gods.

However they didn’t listen, but they did what they did before.

Howbeit they did not hearken, H8085 (QalPerf) but they did H6213 (QalActPtc) after their former H7223 manner. H4941

και ουκ ακουσεσθε επι τω κριματι αυτων ο αυτοι ποιουσιν

Then they captured the king and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they passed judgment on him.

So they took H8610 (QalImpf) the king, H4428 and brought him up H5927 (HiphImpf) to the king H4428 of Babylon H894 to Riblah; H7247 and they gave H1696 (PielImpf) judgment H4941 upon him.^§

2 Kings 25:6 Heb. spake judgment with him

They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting until Solomon had built Yahweh’s house in Jerusalem. They performed the duties of their office according to their order.

For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

οτι ουκ εν τω προτερον υμας ειναι διεκοψεν ο θεος ημων εν ημιν οτι ουκ εζητησαμεν εν κριματι

Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

μνημονευετε τα θαυμασια αυτου α εποιησεν τερατα και κριματα του στοματος αυτου

He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

He is the Lord H3068 our God; H430 His judgments H4941 are in all the earth. H776

αυτος κυριος ο θεος ημων εν παση τη γη τα κριματα αυτου

David reigned over all Israel; and he executed justice and righteousness for all his people.

So David H1732 reigned H4427 (QalImpf) over all Israel, H3478 and executed H6213 (QalActPtc) judgment H4941 and justice H6666 among all his people. H5971

και εβασιλευσεν δαυιδ επι παντα ισραηλ και ην ποιων κριμα και δικαιοσυνην τω παντι λαω αυτου

Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which Yahweh gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid and don’t be dismayed.

Then shalt thou prosper, H6743 (HiphImpf) if thou takest heed H8104 (QalImpf) to fulfil H6213 (QalInf) the statutes H2706 and judgments H4941 which the Lord H3068 charged H6680 (PielPerf) Moses H4872 with concerning Israel: H3478 be strong, H2388 (QalImpv) and of good courage; H553 (QalImpv) dread H3372 (QalImpf) not, nor be dismayed. τοτε ευοδωσει εαν φυλαξης του ποιειν τα προσταγματα και τα κριματα α ενετειλατο κυριος τω μωυση επι ισραηλ ανδριζου και ισχυε μη φοβου μηδε πτοηθης

and to offer all burnt offerings to Yahweh on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts, in number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before Yahweh;

και επι παντων των αναφερομενων ολοκαυτωματων τω κυριω εν τοις σαββατοις και εν ταις νεομηνιαις και εν ταις εορταις κατα αριθμον κατα την κρισιν επ αυτοις δια παντος τω κυριω

This was their ordering in their service, to come into Yahweh’s house according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as Yahweh, the God of Israel, had commanded him.

These were the orderings H6486 of them in their service H5656 to come H935 (QalInf) into the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 according to their manner, H4941 under H3027 Aaron H175 their father, H1 as the Lord H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478 had commanded H6680 (PielPerf) him.

I will establish his kingdom forever if he continues to do my commandments and my ordinances, as it is today.’

He made the ten lamp stands of gold according to the ordinance concerning them; and he set them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left.

“As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,
