1 Esdras – search, read, and compare multiple versions of the Bible

This Greek retelling of the return from exile draws on the same events as 2 Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah but arranges them differently. Its one passage found nowhere else has three young guardsmen of the Persian king debate what is strongest in the world, with answers of wine, the king, and women, until a fourth answer carries the day.
