authorship, audience, history
Jonah is the fifth of the Minor Prophets and is best known for the fish. The prophet runs from a commission to Nineveh, is brought back to it, preaches, sees the whole city repent, and then sulks about it. The book ends with God asking him a question that it never answers for him.
