Letter of Jeremiah – search, read, and compare multiple versions of the Bible

This single chapter is cast as a letter to Jews being marched to Babylon, warning them not to fear the idols they are about to see everywhere. Most of it is a patient argument that a god who must be carried, dusted, and guarded against thieves is no god at all. It probably dates to the second century BC.
