You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar, and the altar will be most holy.

He shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, that is in the Tent of Meeting; and the rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (QalPerf) of the blood H1818 of the sin offering H2403 with his finger, H676 and put H5414 (QalPerf) it upon the horns H7161 of the altar H4196 of burnt offering, H5930 and shall pour out H8210 (QalImpf) all the blood H1818 thereof at the bottom H3247 of the altar: H4196

και λαβων ο ιερευς απο του αιματος του της αμαρτιας τω δακτυλω επιθησει επι τα κερατα του θυσιαστηριου της ολοκαυτωσεως και παν αυτου το αιμα εκχεει παρα την βασιν του θυσιαστηριου της ολοκαυτωσεως

He shall remove all its fat, like the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.

and he shall take away H5493 (HiphImpf) all the fat H2459 thereof, as the fat H2459 of the lamb H3775 is taken away H5493 (HophImpf) from the sacrifice H2077 of the peace offerings; H8002 and the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) them upon the altar, H4196 according to the offerings made by fire H801 unto the Lord: H3068 and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for his sin H2403 that he hath committed, H2398 (QalPerf) and it shall be forgiven H5545 (NiphPerf) him.

και παν αυτου το στεαρ περιελει ον τροπον περιαιρειται στεαρ προβατου εκ της θυσιας του σωτηριου και επιθησει αυτο ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον επι το ολοκαυτωμα κυριου και εξιλασεται περι αυτου ο ιερευς περι της αμαρτιας ης ημαρτεν και αφεθησεται αυτω

He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.

and he shall sprinkle H5137 (HiphPerf) of the blood H1818 of the sin offering H2403 upon the side H7023 of the altar; H4196 and the rest H7604 (NiphPtc) of the blood H1818 shall be wrung out H4680 (NiphImpf) at the bottom H3247 of the altar: H4196 it is a sin offering. H2403

και ρανει απο του αιματος του περι της αμαρτιας επι τον τοιχον του θυσιαστηριου το δε καταλοιπον του αιματος καταστραγγιει επι την βασιν του θυσιαστηριου αμαρτιας γαρ εστιν

He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.

Then shall he bring H935 (HiphPerf) it to the priest, H3548 and the priest H3548 shall take H7061 (QalPerf) his handful H4393 H7062 of it, even a memorial H234 thereof, and burn H6999 (HiphPerf) it on the altar, H4196 according to the offerings made by fire H801 unto the Lord: H3068 it is a sin offering. και οισει αυτο προς τον ιερεα και δραξαμενος ο ιερευς απ αυτης πληρη την δρακα το μνημοσυνον αυτης επιθησει επι το θυσιαστηριον των ολοκαυτωματων κυριω αμαρτια εστιν

“Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering: the burnt offering shall be on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.

Leviticus 6:9 Or, for the burning

The priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put on his linen trousers upon his body; and he shall remove the ashes from where the fire has consumed the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

And the priest H3548 shall put H3847 (QalPerf) on his linen H906 garment, H4055 and his linen H906 breeches H4370 shall he put H3847 (QalImpf) upon his flesh, H1320 and take up H7311 (HiphPerf) the ashes H1880 which the fire H784 hath consumed H398 (QalImpf) with the burnt offering H5930 on the altar, H4196 and he shall put H7760 (QalPerf) them beside H681 the altar. H4196

^[6:3] και ενδυσεται ο ιερευς χιτωνα λινουν και περισκελες λινουν ενδυσεται περι το σωμα αυτου και αφελει την κατακαρπωσιν ην αν καταναλωση το πυρ την ολοκαυτωσιν απο του θυσιαστηριου και παραθησει αυτο εχομενον του θυσιαστηριου

The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, it shall not go out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning. He shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

And the fire H784 upon the altar H4196 shall be burning H3344 (HophImpf) in it; it shall not be put out: H3518 (QalImpf) and the priest H3548 shall burn H1197 (PielPerf) wood H6086 on it every morning, H1242 and lay the burnt offering H5930 in order H6186 (QalPerf) upon it; and he shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) thereon the fat H2459 of the peace offerings. H8002

^[6:5] και πυρ επι το θυσιαστηριον καυθησεται απ αυτου και ου σβεσθησεται και καυσει ο ιερευς επ αυτο ξυλα το πρωι και στοιβασει επ αυτου την ολοκαυτωσιν και επιθησει επ αυτο το στεαρ του σωτηριου

Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.

The fire H784 shall ever H8548 be burning H3344 (HophImpf) upon the altar; H4196 it shall never go out. H3518 (QalImpf)

^[6:6] και πυρ δια παντος καυθησεται επι το θυσιαστηριον ου σβεσθησεται

“ ‘This is the law of the meal offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before Yahweh, before the altar.

And this is the law H8451 of the meat offering: H4503 the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 shall offer H7126 (HiphImpv) it before H6440 the Lord, H3068 before H6440 the altar. H4196

^[6:7] ουτος ο νομος της θυσιας ην προσαξουσιν αυτην οι υιοι ααρων εναντι κυριου απεναντι του θυσιαστηριου

He shall take from there his handful of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the meal offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma, as its memorial portion, to Yahweh.

And he shall take H7311 (HiphPerf) of it his handful, H7062 of the flour H5560 of the meat offering, H4503 and of the oil H8081 thereof, and all the frankincense H3828 which is upon the meat offering, H4503 and shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) it upon the altar H4196 for a sweet H5207 savour, H7381 even the memorial H234 of it, unto the Lord. H3068
