και εν τω λαλειν με προς σε ανοιξω το στομα σου και ερεις προς αυτους ταδε λεγει κυριος ο ακουων ακουετω και ο απειθων απειθειτω διοτι οικος παραπικραινων εστιν

Yahweh said, “Even thus will the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.”

“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my ordinances, neither have followed the ordinances of the nations that are around you;

δια τουτο ταδε λεγει κυριος ανθ ων η αφορμη υμων εκ των εθνων των κυκλω υμων και εν τοις νομιμοις μου ουκ επορευθητε και τα δικαιωματα μου ουκ εποιησατε αλλ ουδε κατα τα δικαιωματα των εθνων των κυκλω υμων ου πεποιηκατε

therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.

και ερεις τα ορη ισραηλ ακουσατε λογον κυριου ταδε λεγει κυριος τοις ορεσιν και τοις βουνοις και ταις φαραγξιν και ταις ναπαις ιδου εγω επαγω εφ υμας ρομφαιαν και εξολεθρευθησεται τα υψηλα υμων

“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, “Alas!”, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they will fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”

Then he said to me, “Son of man, dig now in the wall.” When I had dug in the wall, I saw a door.

He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.”

Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, ‘Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’ ”

Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? You will again see yet greater abominations than these.”

και ειπεν προς με υιε ανθρωπου εωρακας και ετι οψει επιτηδευματα μειζονα τουτων

Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.

Then he said H559 (QalImpf) unto me, Hast thou seen H7200 (QalPerf) this, O son H1121 of man? και ειπεν προς με εωρακας υιε ανθρωπου μη μικρα τω οικω ιουδα του ποιειν τας ανομιας ας πεποιηκασιν ωδε διοτι επλησαν την γην ανομιας και ιδου αυτοι ως μυκτηριζοντες

και ανεκραγεν εις τα ωτα μου φωνη μεγαλη λεγων ηγγικεν η εκδικησις της πολεως και εκαστος ειχεν τα σκευη της εξολεθρευσεως εν χειρι αυτου

Yahweh said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

και ειπεν προς αυτον διελθε μεσην την ιερουσαλημ και δος το σημειον επι τα μετωπα των ανδρων των καταστεναζοντων και των κατωδυνωμενων επι πασαις ταις ανομιαις ταις γινομεναις εν μεσω αυτης

To the others he said in my hearing, “Go through the city after him, and strike. Don’t let your eye spare, neither have pity.

And to the others H428 he said H559 (QalPerf) in mine hearing,^§ H241 Go H5674 (QalImpv) ye after H310 him through the city, H5892 and smite: H5221 (HiphImpv) let not your eye H5869 spare, H2347 (QalImpf) neither have ye pity: H2550 (QalImpf)

Ezekiel 9:5 Heb. mine ears

και τουτοις ειπεν ακουοντος μου πορευεσθε οπισω αυτου εις την πολιν και κοπτετε και μη φειδεσθε τοις οφθαλμοις υμων και μη ελεησητε

He said to them, “Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” They went out, and struck in the city.

And he said H559 (QalImpf) unto them, Defile H2930 (PielImpv) the house, H1004 and fill H4390 (PielImpv) the courts H2691 with the slain: H2491 go ye forth. H3318 (QalImpv) And they went forth, H3318 (QalPerf) and slew H5221 (HiphPerf) in the city. H5892

και ειπεν προς αυτους μιανατε τον οικον και πλησατε τας οδους νεκρων εκπορευομενοι και κοπτετε

While they were killing, and I was left, I fell on my face, and cried, and said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! Will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

And it came to pass, while they were slaying H5221 (HiphInf) them, and I was left, H7604 (NiphPtc) that I fell H5307 (QalImpf) upon my face, H6440 and cried, H2199 (QalImpf) and said, H559 (QalImpf) Ah H162 Lord H136 God! και εγενετο εν τω κοπτειν αυτους και πιπτω επι προσωπον μου και ανεβοησα και ειπα οιμμοι κυριε εξαλειφεις συ τους καταλοιπους του ισραηλ εν τω εκχεαι σε τον θυμον σου επι ιερουσαλημ

Then he said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say, ‘Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh doesn’t see.’

Then said H559 (QalImpf) he unto me, The iniquity H5771 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 and Judah H3063 is exceeding H3966 H3966 great, H1419 and the land H776 is full H4390 (NiphImpf) of^§ blood, H1818 and the city H5892 full H4390 (QalPerf) of perverseness:^§ H4297 for they say, H559 (QalPerf) The Lord H3068 hath forsaken H5800 (QalPerf) the earth, H776 and the Lord H3068 seeth H7200 (QalActPtc) not.

και ειπεν προς με αδικια του οικου ισραηλ και ιουδα μεμεγαλυνται σφοδρα σφοδρα οτι επλησθη η γη λαων πολλων και η πολις επλησθη αδικιας και ακαθαρσιας οτι ειπαν εγκαταλελοιπεν κυριος την γην ουκ εφορα ο κυριος

Behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, “I have done as you have commanded me.”

And, behold, the man H376 clothed H3847 (QalPasPtc) with linen, H906 which had the inkhorn H7083 by his side, H4975 reported H7725 (HiphPtc) the matter,^§ H1697 saying, H559 (QalInf) I have done H6213 (QalPerf) as thou hast commanded H6680 (PielPerf) me.

Ezekiel 9:11 Heb. returned the word

και ιδου ο ανηρ ο ενδεδυκως τον ποδηρη και εζωσμενος τη ζωνη την οσφυν αυτου και απεκρινατο λεγων πεποιηκα καθως ενετειλω μοι

He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, “Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” He went in as I watched.

And he spake H559 (QalImpf) unto the man H376 clothed H3847 (QalPasPtc) with linen, H906 and said, H559 (QalImpf) Go in H935 (QalImpv) between H996 the wheels, H1534 even under the cherub, H3742 and fill H4390 (PielImpv) thine hand^§ H2651 with coals H1513 of fire H784 from between H996 the cherubims, H3742 and scatter H2236 (QalImpv) them over the city. Ezekiel 10:2 Heb. the hollow of thine hand

και ειπεν προς τον ανδρα τον ενδεδυκοτα την στολην εισελθε εις το μεσον των τροχων των υποκατω των χερουβιν και πλησον τας δρακας σου ανθρακων πυρος εκ μεσου των χερουβιν και διασκορπισον επι την πολιν και εισηλθεν ενωπιον μου

It came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim,” that he went in and stood beside a wheel.

And it came to pass, that when he had commanded H6680 (PielInf) the man H376 clothed H3847 (QalPasPtc) with linen, H906 saying, H559 (QalInf) Take H3947 (QalImpv) fire H784 from between the wheels, H1534 from between the cherubims; H3742 then he went in, H935 (QalImpf) and stood H5975 (QalImpf) beside H681 the wheels. και εγενετο εν τω εντελλεσθαι αυτον τω ανδρι τω ενδεδυκοτι την στολην την αγιαν λεγων λαβε πυρ εκ μεσου των τροχων εκ μεσου των χερουβιν και εισηλθεν και εστη εχομενος των τροχων

He said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity, and who give wicked counsel in this city;

Then said H559 (QalImpf) he unto me, Son H1121 of man, H120 these are the men H582 that devise H2803 (QalActPtc) mischief, H205 and give H3289 (QalActPtc) wicked H7451 counsel H6098 in this city: H5892

και ειπεν κυριος προς με υιε ανθρωπου ουτοι οι ανδρες οι λογιζομενοι ματαια και βουλευομενοι βουλην πονηραν εν τη πολει ταυτη

who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’

which say, H559 (QalActPtc) It is not near: H7138 let us build H1129 (QalInf) houses: H1004 this city is the caldron, H5518 and we be the flesh. H1320

οι λεγοντες ουχι προσφατως ωκοδομηνται αι οικιαι αυτη εστιν ο λεβης ημεις δε τα κρεα
