Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, “Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.

Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of the Passover. No foreigner shall eat of it,

ειπεν δε κυριος προς μωυσην και ααρων λεγων ουτος ο νομος του πασχα πας αλλογενης ουκ εδεται απ αυτου

When a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, and would like to keep the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it. He shall be as one who is born in the land; but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

And when a stranger H1616 shall sojourn H1481 (QalImpf) with thee, and will keep H6213 (QalPerf) the passover H6453 to the Lord, H3068 let all his males H2145 be circumcised, H4135 (NiphInf) and then let him come near H7126 (QalImpf) and keep H6213 (QalInf) it; and he shall be as one that is born H249 in the land: H776 for no uncircumcised person H6189 shall eat H398 (QalImpf) thereof.

“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread. The sacrifice of the feast of the Passover shall not be left to the morning.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Yahweh’s Passover.

εν τω πρωτω μηνι εν τη τεσσαρεσκαιδεκατη ημερα του μηνος ανα μεσον των εσπερινων πασχα τω κυριω

“Let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.

ειπον και ποιειτωσαν οι υιοι ισραηλ το πασχα καθ ωραν αυτου

Moses told the children of Israel that they should keep the Passover.

και ελαλησεν μωυσης τοις υιοις ισραηλ ποιησαι το πασχα

There were certain men who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.

λαλησον τοις υιοις ισραηλ λεγων ανθρωπος ανθρωπος ος εαν γενηται ακαθαρτος επι ψυχη ανθρωπου η εν οδω μακραν υμιν η εν ταις γενεαις υμων και ποιησει το πασχα κυριω

They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.

But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

και ανθρωπος ος εαν καθαρος η και εν οδω μακρα ουκ εστιν και υστερηση ποιησαι το πασχα εξολεθρευθησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ του λαου αυτης οτι το δωρον κυριω ου προσηνεγκεν κατα τον καιρον αυτου αμαρτιαν αυτου λημψεται ο ανθρωπος εκεινος

“‘If a foreigner lives among you and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh, then he shall do so according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner and for him who is born in the land.’”

And if a stranger H1616 shall sojourn H1481 (QalImpf) among you, and will keep H6213 (QalPerf) the passover H6453 unto the Lord; H3068 according to the ordinance H2708 of the passover, H6453 and according to the manner H4941 thereof, so shall he do: H6213 (QalImpf) ye shall have one H259 ordinance, H2708 both for the stranger, H1616 and for him that was born H249 in the land. You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which Yahweh your God gives you;

Deuteronomy 16:5 Or, kill

The children of Israel encamped in Gilgal. They kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening in the plains of Jericho.

They ate unleavened cakes and parched grain of the produce of the land on the next day after the Passover, in the same day.

και εφαγοσαν απο του σιτου της γης αζυμα και νεα εν ταυτη τη ημερα

The king commanded all the people, saying, “Keep the Passover to Yahweh your God, as it is written in this book of the covenant.”

but in the eighteenth year of King Josiah, this Passover was kept to Yahweh in Jerusalem.

Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to Yahweh’s house at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

For the king had taken counsel with his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.

So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it in great numbers in the way it is written.

Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into Yahweh’s house.

For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh.

Josiah kept a Passover to Yahweh in Jerusalem. They killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

Moreover Josiah H2977 kept H6213 (QalImpf) a passover H6453 unto the Lord H3068 in Jerusalem: H3389 and they killed H7819 (QalImpf) the passover H6453 on the fourteenth H702 H6240 day of the first H7223 month. H2320

και εποιησεν ιωσιας το φασεχ τω κυριω θεω αυτου και εθυσαν το φασεχ τη τεσσαρεσκαιδεκατη του μηνος του πρωτου

Kill the Passover lamb, sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to Yahweh’s word by Moses.”

Josiah gave to the children of the people, of the flock, lambs and young goats, all of them for the Passover offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls. These were of the king’s substance.
