Prayer of Manasseh – search, read, and compare multiple versions of the Bible

This short prayer of repentance is written for the mouth of Manasseh, the king 2 Chronicles 33 says humbled himself in a Babylonian prison after a reign of unusual wickedness. It was probably composed in the last two centuries BC. It is not a narrative but a model confession, and Anglican and Orthodox worship still uses it as one.
