Sirach – search, read, and compare multiple versions of the Bible

Jesus ben Sira taught in Jerusalem around 180 BC and left the longest book in this group: fifty-one chapters of practical counsel on money, speech, friendship, work, and the fear of the Lord, closing with a roll call of Israel's great figures. His grandson translated it into Greek a generation later and explained why in a preface.
