και εγω εδωκα αυτον και τον ελιαβ τον του αχισαμαχ εκ φυλης δαν και παντι συνετω καρδια δεδωκα συνεσιν και ποιησουσιν παντα οσα σοι συνεταξα

Yahweh said to Moses, “I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people.

And the Lord H3068 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Moses, H4872 I have seen H7200 (QalPerf) this people, H5971 and, behold, it is a stiffnecked H7186 H6203 people: H5971

Now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

Therefore now go, H3212 (QalImpv) lead H5148 (QalImpv) the people H5971 unto the place of which I have spoken H1696 (PielPerf) unto thee: behold, mine Angel H4397 shall go H3212 (QalImpf) before H6440 thee: nevertheless in the day H3117 when I visit H6485 (QalInf) I will visit H6485 (QalPerf) their sin H2403 upon them.

νυνι δε βαδιζε καταβηθι και οδηγησον τον λαον τουτον εις τον τοπον ον ειπα σοι ιδου ο αγγελος μου προπορευεται προ προσωπου σου η δ αν ημερα επισκεπτωμαι επαξω επ αυτους την αμαρτιαν αυτων

Yahweh also said, “Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock.

He said, “Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.

Observe that which I command you today. Behold, I will drive out before you the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.

και ειδεν ααρων και παντες οι πρεσβυτεροι ισραηλ τον μωυσην και ην δεδοξασμενη η οψις του χρωματος του προσωπου αυτου και εφοβηθησαν εγγισαι αυτου

Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Yahweh had commanded. They had done so; and Moses blessed them.

Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold,^§ it was burned. He was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,

Leviticus 10:16 “Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. Behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.

and the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on him the seventh H7637 day: H3117 and, behold, if the plague H5061 in his sight H5869 be at a stay, H5975 (QalPerf) and the plague H5061 spread H6581 (QalPerf) not in the skin; H5785 then the priest H3548 shall shut H5462 (HiphPerf) him up seven H7651 days H3117 more: H8145

και οψεται ο ιερευς την αφην τη ημερα τη εβδομη και ιδου η αφη μενει εναντιον αυτου ου μετεπεσεν η αφη εν τω δερματι και αφοριει αυτον ο ιερευς επτα ημερας το δευτερον

The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day. Behold, if the plague has faded and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

and the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on him again H8145 the seventh H7637 day: H3117 and, behold, if the plague H5061 be somewhat dark, H3544 and the plague H5061 spread H6581 (QalPerf) not in the skin, H5785 the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean: H2891 (PielPerf) it is but a scab: H4556 and he shall wash H3526 (PielPerf) his clothes, H899 and be clean. The priest shall examine him; and behold, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.

and if the priest H3548 see H7200 (QalPerf) that, behold, the scab H4556 spreadeth H6581 (QalPerf) in the skin, H5785 then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean: H2930 (PielPerf) it is a leprosy. H6883

and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if there is a white swelling in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,

Leviticus 13:10 Heb. the quickening of living flesh

και οψεται ο ιερευς και ιδου ουλη λευκη εν τω δερματι και αυτη μετεβαλεν τριχα λευκην και απο του υγιους της σαρκος της ζωσης εν τη ουλη

then the priest shall examine him. Behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean.

The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean.

and the priest H3548 shall see H7200 (QalPerf) him: and, behold, if the plague H5061 be turned H2015 (NiphPerf) into white; H3836 then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 (PielPerf) that hath the plague: H5061 he is clean. H2889

The priest shall examine it. Behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil.

and if, when the priest H3548 seeth H7200 (QalPerf) it, behold, it be in sight H4758 lower H8217 than the skin, H5785 and the hair H8181 thereof be turned H2015 (QalPerf) white; H3836 the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean: H2930 (PielPerf) it is a plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 broken H6524 (QalPerf) out of the boil. But if the priest examines it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.

But if the priest H3548 look H7200 (QalImpf) on it, and, behold, there be no white H3836 hairs H8181 therein, and if it be not lower H8217 than the skin, H5785 but be somewhat dark; H3544 then the priest H3548 shall shut H5462 (HiphPerf) him up seven H7651 days: H3117

εαν δε ιδη ο ιερευς και ιδου ουκ εστιν εν αυτω θριξ λευκη και ταπεινον μη η απο του δερματος του χρωτος και αυτη η αμαυρα αφοριει αυτον ο ιερευς επτα ημερας

then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin, it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.

then the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) upon it: and, behold, if the hair H8181 in the bright spot H934 be turned H2015 (NiphPerf) white, H3836 and it be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than the skin; H5785 it is a leprosy H6883 broken H6524 (QalPerf) out of the burning: H4348 wherefore the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean: H2930 (PielPerf) it is the plague H5061 of leprosy. H6883

But if the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.

But if the priest H3548 look H7200 (QalImpf) on it, and, behold, there be no white H3836 hair H8181 in the bright spot, H934 and it be no lower H8217 than the other skin, H5785 but be somewhat dark; H3544 then the priest H3548 shall shut H5462 (HiphPerf) him up seven H7651 days: H3117

εαν δε ιδη ο ιερευς και ιδου ουκ εστιν εν τω αυγαζοντι θριξ λευκη και ταπεινον μη η απο του δερματος αυτο δε αμαυρον και αφοριει αυτον ο ιερευς επτα ημερας

then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is an itch. It is leprosy of the head or of the beard.

then the priest H3548 shall see H7200 (QalPerf) the plague: H5061 and, behold, if it be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than the skin; H5785 and there be in it a yellow H6669 thin H1851 hair; H8181 then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean: H2930 (PielPerf) it is a dry scall, H5424 even a leprosy H6883 upon the head H7218 or beard. και οψεται ο ιερευς την αφην και ιδου η οψις αυτης εγκοιλοτερα του δερματος εν αυτη δε θριξ ξανθιζουσα λεπτη και μιανει αυτον ο ιερευς θραυσμα εστιν λεπρα της κεφαλης η λεπρα του πωγωνος εστιν

If the priest examines the plague of itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the person infected with itching seven days.

And if the priest H3548 look H7200 (QalImpf) on the plague H5061 of the scall, H5424 and, behold, it be not in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than the skin, H5785 and that there is no black H7838 hair H8181 in it; then the priest H3548 shall shut H5462 (HiphPerf) up him that hath the plague H5061 of the scall H5424 seven H7651 days: H3117

και εαν ιδη ο ιερευς την αφην του θραυσματος και ιδου ουχ η οψις εγκοιλοτερα του δερματος και θριξ ξανθιζουσα ουκ εστιν εν αυτη και αφοριει ο ιερευς την αφην του θραυσματος επτα ημερας

On the seventh day the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin,

and in the seventh H7637 day H3117 the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on the plague: H5061 and, behold, if the scall H5424 spread H6581 (QalPerf) not, and there be in it no yellow H6669 hair, H8181 and the scall H5424 be not in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than the skin; H5785

On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes and be clean.

and in the seventh H7637 day H3117 the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on the scall: H5424 and, behold, if the scall H5424 be not spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the skin, H5785 nor be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than the skin; H5785 then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean: H2891 (PielPerf) and he shall wash H3526 (PielPerf) his clothes, H899 and be clean. H2891 (QalPerf)

και οψεται ο ιερευς το θραυσμα τη ημερα τη εβδομη και ιδου ου διεχυθη το θραυσμα εν τω δερματι μετα το ξυρηθηναι αυτον και η οψις του θραυσματος ουκ εστιν κοιλη απο του δερματος και καθαριει αυτον ο ιερευς και πλυναμενος τα ιματια καθαρος εσται

then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

then the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on him: and, behold, if the scall H5424 be spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the skin, H5785 the priest H3548 shall not seek H1239 (PielImpf) for yellow H6669 hair; H8181 he is unclean. H2931

και οψεται ο ιερευς και ιδου διακεχυται το θραυσμα εν τω δερματι ουκ επισκεψεται ο ιερευς περι της τριχος της ξανθης οτι ακαθαρτος εστιν

then the priest shall examine them. Behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash. It has broken out in the skin. He is clean.

then the priest H3548 shall look: H7200 (QalPerf) and, behold, if the bright spots H934 in the skin H5785 of their flesh H1320 be darkish H3544 white; H3836 it is a freckled spot H933 that groweth H6524 (QalPerf) in the skin; H5785 he is clean. H2889

και οψεται ο ιερευς και ιδου εν δερματι της σαρκος αυτου αυγασματα αυγαζοντα λευκαθιζοντα αλφος εστιν καθαρος εστιν εξανθει εν τω δερματι της σαρκος αυτου καθαρος εστιν

Then the priest shall examine him. Behold, if the swelling of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the body,

Then the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) upon it: and, behold, if the rising H7613 of the sore H5061 be white H3836 reddish H125 in his bald head, H7146 or in his bald forehead, H1372 as the leprosy H6883 appeareth H4758 in the skin H5785 of the flesh; H1320

“If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;

And if the priest H3548 shall look, H7200 (QalImpf) and, behold, the plague H5061 be not spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the garment, H899 either H176 in the warp, H8359 or H176 in the woof, H6154 or H176 in any thing H3627 of skin; H5785

εαν δε ιδη ο ιερευς και μη διαχεηται η αφη εν τω ιματιω η εν τω στημονι η εν τη κροκη η εν παντι σκευει δερματινω

Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.

and the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on the plague, H5061 after H310 that it is washed: H3526 (HotpInf) and, behold, if the plague H5061 have not changed H2015 (QalPerf) his colour, H5869 and the plague H5061 be not spread; H6581 (QalPerf) it is unclean; H2931 thou shalt burn H8313 (QalImpf) it in the fire; H784 it is fret H6356 inward, whether it be bare within H7146 or without.^§ H1372

Leviticus 13:55 Heb. whether it be bald in the head thereof, or in the forehead thereof

και οψεται ο ιερευς μετα το πλυθηναι αυτο την αφην και ηδε μη μετεβαλεν την οψιν η αφη και η αφη ου διαχειται ακαθαρτον εστιν εν πυρι κατακαυθησεται εστηρισται εν τω ιματιω η εν τω στημονι η εν τη κροκη

and the priest shall go out of the camp. The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,

and the priest H3548 shall go forth H3318 (QalPerf) out H2351 of the camp; H4264 and the priest H3548 shall look, H7200 (QalPerf) and, behold, if the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 be healed H7495 (NiphPerf) in the leper; H6879 (QalPasPtc)

και εξελευσεται ο ιερευς εξω της παρεμβολης και οψεται ο ιερευς και ιδου ιαται η αφη της λεπρας απο του λεπρου

He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall,

and he shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on the plague, H5061 and, behold, if the plague H5061 be in the walls H7023 of the house H1004 with hollow strakes, H8258 greenish H3422 or reddish, H125 which in sight H4758 are lower H8217 than H4480 the wall; H7023

και οψεται την αφην εν τοις τοιχοις της οικιας κοιλαδας χλωριζουσας η πυρριζουσας και η οψις αυτων ταπεινοτερα των τοιχων

The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,

and the priest H3548 shall come again H7725 (QalPerf) the seventh H7637 day, H3117 and shall look: H7200 (QalPerf) and, behold, if the plague H5061 be spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the walls H7023 of the house; H1004

then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

then the priest H3548 shall come H935 (QalPerf) and look, H7200 (QalPerf) and, behold, if the plague H5061 be spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the house, H1004 it is a fretting H3992 (HiphPtc) leprosy H6883 in the house: H1004 it is unclean. H2931

και εισελευσεται ο ιερευς και οψεται ει διακεχυται η αφη εν τη οικια λεπρα εμμονος εστιν εν τη οικια ακαθαρτος εστιν

“If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

And if the priest H3548 shall come in,^§ H935 (QalImpf) H935 (QalInf) and look H7200 (QalPerf) upon it, and, behold, the plague H5061 hath not spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the house, H1004 after H310 the house H1004 was plaistered: H2902 (NiphInf) then the priest H3548 shall pronounce the house H1004 clean, H2891 (PielPerf) because the plague H5061 is healed. Leviticus 14:48 Heb. in coming in, shall come in, etc

The cloud departed from over the Tent; and behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

They rose up early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain, saying, “Behold, we are here, and will go up to the place which Yahweh has promised; for we have sinned.”

When the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the Tent of Meeting. Behold, the cloud covered it, and Yahweh’s glory appeared.

Behold, I myself have taken your brothers the Levites from among the children of Israel. They are a gift to you, dedicated to Yahweh, to do the service of the Tent of Meeting.

Yahweh spoke to Aaron, “Behold, I myself have given you the command of my wave offerings, even all the holy things of the children of Israel. I have given them to you by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, as a portion forever.

“To the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the Tent of Meeting.

When we cried to Yahweh, he heard our voice, sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the edge of your border.

και ανεβοησαμεν προς κυριον και εισηκουσεν κυριος της φωνης ημων και αποστειλας αγγελον εξηγαγεν ημας εξ αιγυπτου και νυν εσμεν εν καδης πολει εκ μερους των οριων σου

He sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor, to Pethor, which is by the River, to the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, “Behold, there is a people who came out of Egypt. Behold, they cover the surface of the earth, and they are staying opposite me.
