Leviticus 14 (WEBP)
[1] Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
[2] “This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest,
[3] and the priest shall go out of the camp. The priest shall examine him. Behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,
[4] then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
[5] The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
[6] As for the living bird, he shall take it, the cedar wood, the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
[7] He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.
[8] “He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.
[9] It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows. He shall shave off all his hair. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water. Then he shall be clean.
[10] “On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without defect, one ewe lamb a year old without defect, three tenths of an ephah° of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, and one log° of oil.
[11] The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
[12] “The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
[13] He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.
[14] The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
[15] The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
[16] The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.
[17] The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.
[18] The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.
[19] “The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness. Afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;
[20] then the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
[21] “If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah° of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering, and a log° of oil;
[22] and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
[23] “On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.
[24] The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
[25] He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
[26] The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;
[27] and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.
[28] Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
[29] The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.
[30] He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, which ever he is able to afford,
[31] of the kind he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”
[32] This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.
[33] Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
[34] “When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,
[35] then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’
[36] The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean. Afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.
[37] He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall,
[38] then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
[39] The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
[40] then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city.
[41] He shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over. They shall pour out the mortar that they scraped off outside of the city into an unclean place.
[42] They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.
[43] “If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered,
[44] then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.
[45] He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.
[46] “Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.
[47] He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
[48] “If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
[49] To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop.
[50] He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
[51] He shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
[52] He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
[53] but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”
[54] This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,
[55] and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,
[56] and for a swelling, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;
[57] to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.

Leviticus 14 (KJVS)
[1] And the LORD H3068 spake H1696 (8762) unto Moses H4872, saying H559 (8800),
[2] This shall be the law H8451 of the leper H6879 (8794) in the day H3117 of his cleansing H2893: He shall be brought H935 (8717) unto the priest H3548:
[3] And the priest H3548 shall go forth H3318 (8804) out H2351 of the camp H4264; and the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (8804), and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 be healed H7495 (8738) in the leper H6879 (8803);
[4] Then shall the priest H3548 command H6680 (8765) to take H3947 (8804) for him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693) two H8147 birds H6833 alive H2416 [and] clean H2889, and cedar H730 wood H6086, and scarlet H8144 H8438, and hyssop H231:
[5] And the priest H3548 shall command H6680 (8765) that one H259 of the birds H6833 be killed H7819 (8804) in an earthen H2789 vessel H3627 over running H2416 water H4325:
[6] As for the living H2416 bird H6833, he shall take H3947 (8799) it, and the cedar H730 wood H6086, and the scarlet H8144 H8438, and the hyssop H231, and shall dip H2881 (8804) them and the living H2416 bird H6833 in the blood H1818 of the bird H6833 [that was] killed H7819 (8803) over the running H2416 water H4325:
[7] And he shall sprinkle H5137 (8689) upon him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693) from the leprosy H6883 seven H7651 times H6471, and shall pronounce him clean H2891 (8765), and shall let the living H2416 bird H6833 loose H7971 (8765) into the open H6440 field H7704.
[8] And he that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693) shall wash H3526 (8765) his clothes H899, and shave H1548 (8765) off all his hair H8181, and wash H7364 (8804) himself in water H4325, that he may be clean H2891 (8804): and after H310 that he shall come H935 (8799) into the camp H4264, and shall tarry H3427 (8804) abroad H2351 out of his tent H168 seven H7651 days H3117.
[9] But it shall be on the seventh H7637 day H3117, that he shall shave H1548 (8762) all his hair H8181 off his head H7218 and his beard H2206 and his eyebrows H1354 H5869, even all his hair H8181 he shall shave H1548 (8762) off: and he shall wash H3526 (8765) his clothes H899, also he shall wash H7364 (8804) his flesh H1320 in water H4325, and he shall be clean H2891 (8804).
[10] And on the eighth H8066 day H3117 he shall take H3947 (8799) two H8147 he lambs H3532 without blemish H8549, and one H259 ewe lamb H3535 of the first H1323 year H8141 without blemish H8549, and three H7969 tenth deals H6241 of fine flour H5560 [for] a meat offering H4503, mingled H1101 (8803) with oil H8081, and one H259 log H3849 of oil H8081.
[11] And the priest H3548 that maketh [him] clean H2891 (8764) shall present H5975 (8689) the man H376 that is to be made clean H2891 (8693), and those things, before H6440 the LORD H3068, [at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150:
[12] And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (8804) one H259 he lamb H3532, and offer H7126 (8689) him for a trespass offering H817, and the log H3849 of oil H8081, and wave H5130 (8689) them [for] a wave offering H8573 before H6440 the LORD H3068:
[13] And he shall slay H7819 (8804) the lamb H3532 in the place H4725 where he shall kill H7819 (8799) the sin offering H2403 and the burnt offering H5930, in the holy H6944 place H4725: for as the sin offering H2403 [is] the priest’s H3548, [so is] the trespass offering H817: it [is] most H6944 holy H6944:
[14] And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (8804) [some] of the blood H1818 of the trespass offering H817, and the priest H3548 shall put H5414 (8804) [it] upon the tip H8571 of the right H3233 ear H241 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693), and upon the thumb H931 of his right H3233 hand H3027, and upon the great toe H931 of his right H3233 foot H7272:
[15] And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (8804) [some] of the log H3849 of oil H8081, and pour H3332 (8804) [it] into the palm H3709 of his own H3548 left hand H8042:
[16] And the priest H3548 shall dip H2881 (8804) his right H3233 finger H676 in the oil H8081 that [is] in his left H8042 hand H3709, and shall sprinkle H5137 (8689) of the oil H8081 with his finger H676 seven H7651 times H6471 before H6440 the LORD H3068:
[17] And of the rest H3499 of the oil H8081 that [is] in his hand H3709 shall the priest H3548 put H5414 (8799) upon the tip H8571 of the right H3233 ear H241 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693), and upon the thumb H931 of his right H3233 hand H3027, and upon the great toe H931 of his right H3233 foot H7272, upon the blood H1818 of the trespass offering H817:
[18] And the remnant H3498 (8737) of the oil H8081 that [is] in the priest’s H3548 hand H3709 he shall pour H5414 (8799) upon the head H7218 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693): and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (8765) for him before H6440 the LORD H3068.
[19] And the priest H3548 shall offer H6213 (8804) the sin offering H2403, and make an atonement H3722 (8765) for him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693) from his uncleanness H2932; and afterward H310 he shall kill H7819 (8799) the burnt offering H5930:
[20] And the priest H3548 shall offer H5927 (8689) the burnt offering H5930 and the meat offering H4503 upon the altar H4196: and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (8765) for him, and he shall be clean H2891 (8804).
[21] And if he [be] poor H1800, and cannot get H3027 H5381 (8688) so much; then he shall take H3947 (8804) one H259 lamb H3532 [for] a trespass offering H817 to be waved H8573, to make an atonement H3722 (8763) for him, and one H259 tenth deal H6241 of fine flour H5560 mingled H1101 (8803) with oil H8081 for a meat offering H4503, and a log H3849 of oil H8081;
[22] And two H8147 turtledoves H8449, or two H8147 young H1121 pigeons H3123, such as he is able to get H3027 H5381 (8686); and the one H259 shall be a sin offering H2403, and the other H259 a burnt offering H5930.
[23] And he shall bring H935 (8689) them on the eighth H8066 day H3117 for his cleansing H2893 unto the priest H3548, unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150, before H6440 the LORD H3068.
[24] And the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (8804) the lamb H3532 of the trespass offering H817, and the log H3849 of oil H8081, and the priest H3548 shall wave H5130 (8689) them [for] a wave offering H8573 before H6440 the LORD H3068:
[25] And he shall kill H7819 (8804) the lamb H3532 of the trespass offering H817, and the priest H3548 shall take H3947 (8804) [some] of the blood H1818 of the trespass offering H817, and put H5414 (8804) [it] upon the tip H8571 of the right H3233 ear H241 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693), and upon the thumb H931 of his right H3233 hand H3027, and upon the great toe H931 of his right H3233 foot H7272:
[26] And the priest H3548 shall pour H3332 (8799) of the oil H8081 into the palm H3709 of his own H3548 left hand H8042:
[27] And the priest H3548 shall sprinkle H5137 (8689) with his right H3233 finger H676 [some] of the oil H8081 that [is] in his left H8042 hand H3709 seven H7651 times H6471 before H6440 the LORD H3068:
[28] And the priest H3548 shall put H5414 (8804) of the oil H8081 that [is] in his hand H3709 upon the tip H8571 of the right H3233 ear H241 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693), and upon the thumb H931 of his right H3233 hand H3027, and upon the great toe H931 of his right H3233 foot H7272, upon the place H4725 of the blood H1818 of the trespass offering H817:
[29] And the rest H3498 (8737) of the oil H8081 that [is] in the priest’s H3548 hand H3709 he shall put H5414 (8799) upon the head H7218 of him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693), to make an atonement H3722 (8763) for him before H6440 the LORD H3068.
[30] And he shall offer H6213 (8804) the one H259 of the turtledoves H8449, or of the young H1121 pigeons H3123, such as H834 he can get H3027 H5381 (8686);
[31] [Even] such as he H3027 is able to get H5381 (8686), the one H259 [for] a sin offering H2403, and the other H259 [for] a burnt offering H5930, with the meat offering H4503: and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (8765) for him that is to be cleansed H2891 (8693) before H6440 the LORD H3068.
[32] This [is] the law H8451 [of him] in whom [is] the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883, whose hand H3027 is not able to get H5381 (8686) [that which pertaineth] to his cleansing H2893.
[33] And the LORD H3068 spake H1696 (8762) unto Moses H4872 and unto Aaron H175, saying H559 (8800),
[34] When ye be come H935 (8799) into the land H776 of Canaan H3667, which I give H5414 (8802) to you for a possession H272, and I put H5414 (8804) the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 in a house H1004 of the land H776 of your possession H272;
[35] And he that owneth the house H1004 shall come H935 (8804) and tell H5046 (8689) the priest H3548, saying H559 (8800), It seemeth H7200 (8738) to me [there is] as it were a plague H5061 in the house H1004:
[36] Then the priest H3548 shall command H6680 (8765) that they empty H6437 (8765) the house H1004, before the priest H3548 go H935 (8799) [into it] to see H7200 (8800) the plague H5061, that all that [is] in the house H1004 be not made unclean H2930 (8799): and afterward H310 the priest H3548 shall go H935 (8799) in to see H7200 (8800) the house H1004:
[37] And he shall look H7200 (8804) on the plague H5061, and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 [be] in the walls H7023 of the house H1004 with hollow strakes H8258, greenish H3422 or reddish H125, which in sight H4758 [are] lower H8217 than H4480 the wall H7023;
[38] Then the priest H3548 shall go H3318 (8804) out of the house H1004 to the door H6607 of the house H1004, and shut H5462 (8689) up the house H1004 seven H7651 days H3117:
[39] And the priest H3548 shall come again H7725 (8804) the seventh H7637 day H3117, and shall look H7200 (8804): and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 be spread H6581 (8804) in the walls H7023 of the house H1004;
[40] Then the priest H3548 shall command H6680 (8765) that they take H2502 (8765) away the stones H68 in which H2004 the plague H5061 [is], and they shall cast H7993 (8689) H853 them into an unclean H2931 place H4725 without H2351 the city H5892:
[41] And he shall cause the house H1004 to be scraped H7106 (8686) within H1004 round about H5439, and they shall pour H8210 (8804) out the dust H6083 that they scrape H7096 (8689) off without H2351 the city H5892 into an unclean H2931 place H4725:
[42] And they shall take H3947 (8804) other H312 stones H68, and put H935 (8689) [them] in the place H8478 of those stones H68; and he shall take H3947 (8799) other H312 morter H6083, and shall plaister H2902 (8804) the house H1004.
[43] And if the plague H5061 come again H7725 (8799), and break H6524 (8804) out in the house H1004, after H310 that he hath taken H2502 (8765) away the stones H68, and after H310 he hath scraped H7096 (8687) the house H1004, and after H310 it is plaistered H2902 (8736);
[44] Then the priest H3548 shall come H935 (8804) and look H7200 (8804), and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 be spread H6581 (8804) in the house H1004, it [is] a fretting H3992 (8688) leprosy H6883 in the house H1004: it [is] unclean H2931.
[45] And he shall break down H5422 (8804) the house H1004, the stones H68 of it, and the timber H6086 thereof, and all the morter H6083 of the house H1004; and he shall carry [them] forth H3318 (8689) out H2351 of the city H5892 into an unclean H2931 place H4725.
[46] Moreover he that goeth H935 (8802) into the house H1004 all the while H3117 that it is shut H5462 (8689) up shall be unclean H2930 (8799) until the even H6153.
[47] And he that lieth H7901 (8802) in the house H1004 shall wash H3526 (8762) his clothes H899; and he that eateth H398 (8802) in the house H1004 shall wash H3526 (8762) his clothes H899.
[48] And if the priest H3548 shall come in H935 (8799) H935 (8800), and look H7200 (8804) [upon it], and, behold, the plague H5061 hath not spread H6581 (8804) in the house H1004, after H310 the house H1004 was plaistered H2902 (8736): then the priest H3548 shall pronounce the house H1004 clean H2891 (8765), because the plague H5061 is healed H7495 (8738).

Young’s Literal Translation
Leviticus 14 (YLT)
[1] And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
[2] ‘This is a law of the leper, in the day of his cleansing, that he hath been brought in unto the priest,
[3] and the priest hath gone out unto the outside of the camp, and the priest hath seen, and lo, the plague of leprosy hath ceased from the leper,
[4] and the priest hath commanded, and he hath taken for him who is to be cleansed, two clean living birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.
[5] ‘And the priest hath commanded, and he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;
[6] as to the living bird, he taketh it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and hath dipped them and the living bird in the blood of the slaughtered bird, over the running water,
[7] and he hath sprinkled on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and hath pronounced him clean, and hath sent out the living bird on the face of the field.
[8] ‘And he who is to be cleansed hath washed his garments, and hath shaved all his hair, and hath bathed with water, and hath been clean, and afterwards he doth come in unto the camp, and hath dwelt at the outside of his tent seven days.
[9] ‘And it hath been, on the seventh day-he shaveth all his hair, his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows, even all his hair he doth shave, and he hath washed his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and hath been clean.
[10] ‘And on the eighth day he taketh two lambs, perfect ones, and one ewe-lamb, daughter of a year, a perfect one, and three tenth deals of flour for a present, mixed with oil, and one log of oil.
[11] ‘And the priest who is cleansing hath caused the man who is to be cleansed to stand with them before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting,
[12] and the priest hath taken the one he-lamb, and hath brought it near for a guilt-offering, also the log of oil, and hath waved them-a wave offering before Jehovah.
[13] ‘And he hath slaughtered the lamb in the place where he slaughtereth the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the holy place; for like the sin-offering the guilt-offering is to the priest; it is most holy.
[14] ‘And the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;
[15] and the priest hath taken of the log of oil, and hath poured on the left palm of the priest,
[16] and the priest hath dipped his right finger in the oil which is on his left palm, and hath sprinkled of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah.
[17] ‘And of the residue of the oil which is on his palm, the priest putteth on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt-offering;
[18] and the remnant of the oil which is on the palm of the priest, he putteth on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest hath made atonement for him before Jehovah.
[19] ‘And the priest hath made the sin-offering, and hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness, and afterwards he doth slaughter the burnt-offering;
[20] and the priest hath caused the burnt-offering to ascend, also the present, on the altar, and the priest hath made atonement for him, and he hath been clean.
[21] ‘And if he is poor, and his hand is not reaching these things, then he hath taken one lamb-a guilt-offering, for a wave-offering, to make atonement for him, and one-tenth deal of flour mixed with oil for a present, and a log of oil,
[22] and two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, which his hand reacheth to, and one hath been a sin-offering, and the one a burnt-offering;
[23] and he hath brought them in on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah.
[24] ‘And the priest hath taken the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest hath waved them-a wave-offering before Jehovah;
[25] and he hath slaughtered the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;
[26] and the priest doth pour of the oil on the left palm of the priest;
[27] and the priest hath sprinkled with his right finger of the oil which is on his left palm, seven times before Jehovah.
[28] ‘And the priest hath put of the oil which is on his palm, on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt-offering;
[29] and the remnant of the oil which is on the palm of the priest he doth put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him, before Jehovah.
[30] ‘And he hath made the one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons (from that which his hand reacheth to,
[31] even that which his hand reacheth to), the one a sin-offering, and the one a burnt offering, besides the present, and the priest hath made atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Jehovah.
[32] This is a law of him in whom is a plague of leprosy, whose hand reacheth not to his cleansing.’
[33] And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,
[34] ‘When ye come in unto the land of Canaan, which I am giving to you for a possession, and I have put a plague of leprosy in a house in the land of your possession;
[35] then hath he whose the house is come in and declared to the priest, saying, As a plague hath appeared to me in the house;
[36] and the priest hath commanded, and they have prepared the house before the priest cometh in to see the plague (that all which is in the house be not unclean), and afterwards doth the priest come in to see the house;
[37] and he hath seen the plague, and lo, the plague is in the walls of the house, hollow strakes, very green or very red, and their appearance is lower than the wall,
[38] and the priest hath gone out of the house unto the opening of the house, and hath shut up the house seven days.
[39] ‘And the priest hath turned back on the seventh day, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the walls of the house,
[40] and the priest hath commanded, and they have drawn out the stones in which the plague is, and have cast them unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place;
[41] and the house he doth cause to be scraped within round about, and they have poured out the clay which they have scraped off, at the outside of the city, at an unclean place;
[42] and they have taken other stones, and brought them in unto the place of the stones, and other clay he taketh and hath daubed the house.
[43] ‘And if the plague return, and hath broken out in the house, after he hath drawn out the stones, and after the scraping of the house, and after the daubing;
[44] then hath the priest come in and seen, and lo, the plague hath spread in the house; it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.
[45] ‘And he hath broken down the house, its stones, and its wood, and all the clay of the house, and he hath brought them forth unto the outside of the city, unto an unclean place.
[46] ‘And he who is going in unto the house all the days he hath shut it up, is unclean till the evening;
[47] and he who is lying in the house doth wash his garments; and he who is eating in the house doth wash his garments.
[48] ‘And if the priest certainly come in, and hath seen, and lo, the plague hath not spread in the house after the daubing of the house, then hath the priest pronounced the house clean, for the plague hath been healed.
[49] ‘And he hath taken for the cleansing of the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop;
[50] and he hath slaughtered the one bird upon an earthen vessel, over running water;
[51] and he hath taken the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and hath dipped them in the blood of the slaughtered bird, and in the running water, and hath sprinkled upon the house seven times.
[52] ‘And he hath cleansed the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
[53] and he hath sent away the living bird unto the outside of the city unto the face of the field, and hath made atonement for the house, and it hath been clean.
[54] ‘This is the law for every plague of the leprosy and for scall,
[55] and for leprosy of a garment, and of a house,
[56] and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot,-
[57] to direct in the day of being unclean, and in the day of being clean; this is the law of the leprosy.’
