Leviticus 17 (WEBP)
[1] Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
[2] “Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded:
[3] Whatever man there is of the house of Israel who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,
[4] and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before Yahweh’s tabernacle: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood. That man shall be cut off from among his people.
[5] This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.
[6] The priest shall sprinkle the blood on Yahweh’s altar at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
[7] They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’
[8] “You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
[9] and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to Yahweh, that man shall be cut off from his people.
[10] “ ‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
[11] For the life of the flesh is in the blood. I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.
[12] Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you may eat blood, nor may any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”
[13] “ ‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.
[14] For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”
[15] “ ‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. Then he shall be clean.
[16] But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’ ”

Leviticus 17 (KJVS)
[1] And the LORD H3068 spake H1696 (8762) unto Moses H4872, saying H559 (8800),
[2] Speak H1696 (8761) unto Aaron H175, and unto his sons H1121, and unto all the children H1121 of Israel H3478, and say H559 (8804) unto them; This [is] the thing H1697 which the LORD H3068 hath commanded H6680 (8765), saying H559 (8800),
[3] What H376 man H376 soever [there be] of the house H1004 of Israel H3478, that killeth H7819 (8799) an ox H7794, or lamb H3775, or goat H5795, in the camp H4264, or that killeth H7819 (8799) [it] out H2351 of the camp H4264,
[4] And bringeth H935 (8689) it not unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150, to offer H7126 (8687) an offering H7133 unto the LORD H3068 before H6440 the tabernacle H4908 of the LORD H3068; blood H1818 shall be imputed H2803 (8735) unto that man H376; he hath shed H8210 (8804) blood H1818; and that man H376 shall be cut off H3772 (8738) from among H7130 his people H5971:
[5] To the end that the children H1121 of Israel H3478 may bring H935 (8686) their sacrifices H2077, which they offer H2076 (8802) in the open H6440 field H7704, even that they may bring H935 (8689) them unto the LORD H3068, unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150, unto the priest H3548, and offer H2076 (8804) them [for] peace H8002 offerings H2077 unto the LORD H3068.
[6] And the priest H3548 shall sprinkle H2236 (8804) the blood H1818 upon the altar H4196 of the LORD H3068 [at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150, and burn H6999 (8689) the fat H2459 for a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the LORD H3068.
[7] And they shall no more offer H2076 (8799) their sacrifices H2077 unto devils H8163, after H310 whom they have gone a whoring H2181 (8802). This shall be a statute H2708 for ever H5769 unto them throughout their generations H1755.
[8] And thou shalt say H559 (8799) unto them, Whatsoever man H376 [there be] of the house H1004 of Israel H3478, or of the strangers H1616 which sojourn H1481 (8799) among H8432 you, that offereth H5927 (8686) a burnt offering H5930 or sacrifice H2077,
[9] And bringeth H935 (8686) it not unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation H4150, to offer H6213 (8800) it unto the LORD H3068; even that man H376 shall be cut off H3772 (8738) from among his people H5971.
[10] And whatsoever man H376 [there be] of the house H1004 of Israel H3478, or of the strangers H1616 that sojourn H1481 (8802) among H8432 you, that eateth H398 (8799) any manner of blood H1818; I will even set H5414 (8804) my face H6440 against that soul H5315 that eateth H398 (8802) blood H1818, and will cut him off H3772 (8689) from among H7130 his people H5971.
[11] For the life H5315 of the flesh H1320 [is] in the blood H1818: and I have given H5414 (8804) it to you upon the altar H4196 to make an atonement H3722 (8763) for your souls H5315: for it [is] the blood H1818 [that] maketh an atonement H3722 (8762) for the soul H5315.
[12] Therefore I said H559 (8804) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478, No soul H5315 of you shall eat H398 (8799) blood H1818, neither shall any stranger H1616 that sojourneth H1481 (8802) among H8432 you eat H398 (8799) blood H1818.
[13] And whatsoever man H376 [there be] of the children H1121 of Israel H3478, or of the strangers H1616 that sojourn H1481 (8802) among H8432 you, which hunteth H6679 (8799) and catcheth H6718 any beast H2416 or fowl H5775 that may be eaten H398 (8735); he shall even pour H8210 (8804) out the blood H1818 thereof, and cover H3680 (8765) it with dust H6083.
[14] For [it is] the life H5315 of all flesh H1320; the blood H1818 of it [is] for the life H5315 thereof: therefore I said H559 (8799) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478, Ye shall eat H398 (8799) the blood H1818 of no manner of flesh H1320: for the life H5315 of all flesh H1320 [is] the blood H1818 thereof: whosoever eateth H398 (8802) it shall be cut off H3772 (8735).
[15] And every soul H5315 that eateth H398 (8799) that which died H5038 [of itself], or that which was torn H2966 [with beasts, whether it be] one of your own country H249, or a stranger H1616, he shall both wash H3526 (8765) his clothes H899, and bathe H7364 (8804) [himself] in water H4325, and be unclean H2930 (8804) until the even H6153: then shall he be clean H2891 (8804).
[16] But if he wash H3526 (8762) [them] not, nor bathe H7364 (8799) his flesh H1320; then he shall bear H5375 (8804) his iniquity H5771.
Young’s Literal Translation
Leviticus 17 (YLT)
[1] And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
[2] ‘Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the sons of Israel; and thou hast said unto them, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, saying,
[3] Any man of the house of Israel who slaughtereth ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who slaughtereth at the outside of the camp,
[4] and unto the opening of the tent of meeting hath not brought it in to bring near an offering to Jehovah before the tabernacle of Jehovah, blood is reckoned to that man-blood he hath shed-and that man hath been cut off from the midst of his people;
[5] so that the sons of Israel do bring in their sacrifices which they are sacrificing on the face of the field, yea, they have brought them in to Jehovah, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, unto the priest, and they have sacrificed sacrifices of peace-offerings to Jehovah with them.
[6] ‘And the priest hath sprinkled the blood upon the altar of Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting, and hath made perfume with the fat for sweet fragrance to Jehovah;
[7] and they sacrifice not any more their sacrifices to goats after which they are going a-whoring; a statute age-during is this to them, to their generations.
[8] ‘And unto them thou sayest: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners, who sojourneth in your midst, who causeth burnt-offering or sacrifice to ascend,
[9] and unto the opening of the tent of meeting doth not bring it in to make it to Jehovah-that man hath been cut off from his people.
[10] ‘And any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners, who is sojourning in your midst, who eateth any blood, I have even set My face against the person who is eating the blood, and have cut him off from the midst of his people;
[11] for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar, to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood which maketh atonement for the soul.
[12] ‘Therefore I have said to the sons of Israel, No person among you doth eat blood, and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst doth not eat blood;
[13] and any man of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners, who is sojourning in your midst, who hunteth venison, beast or fowl, which is eaten-hath even poured out its blood, and hath covered it with dust;
[14] for it is the life of all flesh, its blood is for its life; and I say to the sons of Israel, Blood of any flesh ye do not eat, for the life of all flesh is its blood; any one eating it is cut off.
[15] ‘And any person who eateth a carcase or torn thing, among natives or among sojourners-hath both washed his garments, and hath bathed with water, and hath been unclean until the evening-then he hath been clean;
[16] and if he wash not, and his flesh bathe not-then he hath borne his iniquity.’
