God said to him, “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations will be from you, and kings will come out of your body.

εαν δε πασα συναγωγη ισραηλ αγνοηση ακουσιως και λαθη ρημα εξ οφθαλμων της συναγωγης και ποιησωσιν μιαν απο πασων των εντολων κυριου η ου ποιηθησεται και πλημμελησωσιν

when the sin in which they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bull for a sin offering, and bring it before the Tent of Meeting.

και γνωσθη αυτοις η αμαρτια ην ημαρτον εν αυτη και προσαξει η συναγωγη μοσχον εκ βοων αμωμον περι της αμαρτιας και προσαξει αυτον παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου

He shall carry the bull outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bull. It is the sin offering for the assembly.

But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and Yahweh is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above Yahweh’s assembly?”

Numbers 16:3 Heb. it is much for you

συνεστησαν επι μωυσην και ααρων και ειπαν εχετω υμιν οτι πασα η συναγωγη παντες αγιοι και εν αυτοις κυριος και δια τι κατανιστασθε επι την συναγωγην κυριου

So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol.° The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.

Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the middle of the assembly. The plague had already begun among the people. He put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.

But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.

και ανθρωπος ος εαν μιανθη και μη αφαγνισθη εξολεθρευθησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ μεσου της συναγωγης οτι τα αγια κυριου εμιανεν οτι υδωρ ραντισμου ου περιερραντισθη επ αυτον ακαθαρτος εστιν

Why have you brought Yahweh’s assembly into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?

και ινα τι ανηγαγετε την συναγωγην κυριου εις την ερημον ταυτην αποκτειναι ημας και τα κτηνη ημων

Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and fell on their faces. Yahweh’s glory appeared to them.

And Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 went H935 (QalImpf) from the presence H6440 of the assembly H6951 unto the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and they fell H5307 (QalImpf) upon their faces: H6440 and the glory H3519 of the Lord H3068 appeared H7200 (NiphImpf) unto them.

Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Shall we bring water out of this rock for you?”

και εξεκκλησιασεν μωυσης και ααρων την συναγωγην απεναντι της πετρας και ειπεν προς αυτους ακουσατε μου οι απειθεις μη εκ της πετρας ταυτης εξαξομεν υμιν υδωρ

Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

And the Lord H3068 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto Moses H4872 and Aaron, H175 Because ye believed H539 (HiphPerf) me not, to sanctify H6942 (HiphInf) me in the eyes H5869 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 therefore ye shall not bring H935 (HiphImpf) this congregation H6951 into the land H776 which I have given H5414 (QalPerf) them.

και ειπεν κυριος προς μωυσην και ααρων οτι ουκ επιστευσατε αγιασαι με εναντιον υιων ισραηλ δια τουτο ουκ εισαξετε υμεις την συναγωγην ταυτην εις την γην ην δεδωκα αυτοις

Moab said to the elders of Midian, “Now this multitude will lick up all that is around us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field.” Balak the son of Zippor was king of Moab at that time.

Yahweh spoke these words to all your assembly on the mountain out of the middle of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice. He added no more. He wrote them on two stone tablets, and gave them to me.

Yahweh delivered to me the two stone tablets written with God’s finger. On them were all the words which Yahweh spoke with you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly.

και εδωκεν κυριος εμοι τας δυο πλακας τας λιθινας γεγραμμενας εν τω δακτυλω του θεου και επ αυταις εγεγραπτο παντες οι λογοι ους ελαλησεν κυριος προς υμας εν τω ορει ημερα εκκλησιας

He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

Deuteronomy 10:4 Heb. words

και εγραψεν επι τας πλακας κατα την γραφην την πρωτην τους δεκα λογους ους ελαλησεν κυριος προς υμας εν τω ορει εκ μεσου του πυρος και εδωκεν αυτας κυριος εμοι

He who is emasculated by crushing or cutting shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly.

He that is wounded in the stones, H6481 (QalPasPtc) H1795 or hath his privy member H8212 cut off, H3772 (QalPasPtc) shall not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord. H3068

^[23:2] ουκ εισελευσεται θλαδιας και αποκεκομμενος εις εκκλησιαν κυριου

A person born of a forbidden union shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly; even to the tenth generation shall no one of his enter into Yahweh’s assembly.

A bastard H4464 shall not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord; H3068 even to his tenth H6224 generation H1755 shall he not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord. H3068

^[23:3] ουκ εισελευσεται εκ πορνης εις εκκλησιαν κυριου

An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into Yahweh’s assembly; even to the tenth generation shall no one belonging to them enter into Yahweh’s assembly forever,

An Ammonite H5984 or Moabite H4125 shall not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord; H3068 even to their tenth H6224 generation H1755 shall they not enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord H3068 for H5704 ever: H5769

^[23:4] ουκ εισελευσεται αμμανιτης και μωαβιτης εις εκκλησιαν κυριου και εως δεκατης γενεας ουκ εισελευσεται εις εκκλησιαν κυριου και εως εις τον αιωνα

The children of the third generation who are born to them may enter into Yahweh’s assembly.

The children H1121 that are begotten H3205 (NiphImpf) of them shall enter H935 (QalImpf) into the congregation H6951 of the Lord H3068 in their third H7992 generation. H1755

^[23:9] υιοι εαν γενηθωσιν αυτοις γενεα τριτη εισελευσονται εις εκκλησιαν κυριου

Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were finished.

και εποιησεν σαλωμων την εορτην εν τη ημερα εκεινη και πας ισραηλ μετ αυτου εκκλησια μεγαλη απο της εισοδου ημαθ εως ποταμου αιγυπτου ενωπιον κυριου θεου ημων εν τω οικω ω ωκοδομησεν εσθιων και πινων και ευφραινομενος ενωπιον κυριου θεου ημων επτα ημερας

David the king said to all the assembly, “Solomon my son, whom alone God has chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great; for the palace is not for man, but for Yahweh God.

και ειπεν δαυιδ ο βασιλευς παση τη εκκλησια σαλωμων ο υιος μου εις ον ηρετικεν εν αυτω κυριος νεος και απαλος και το εργον μεγα οτι ουκ ανθρωπω η οικοδομη αλλ η κυριω θεω

Therefore David blessed Yahweh before all the assembly; and David said, “You are blessed, Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
