therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.” ’

Therefore thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 Surely in the fire H784 of my jealousy H7068 have I spoken H1696 (PielPerf) against the residue H7611 of the heathen, H1471 and against all Idumea, H123 which have appointed H5414 (QalPerf) my land H776 into their possession H4181 with the joy H8057 of all [their] heart, H3824 with despiteful H7589 minds, H5315 to cast it out H4054 for a prey. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Have I not, in the fire of My jealousy, Spoken against the remnant of the nations, And against Edom-all of it, Who gave My land to themselves for a possession, With the joy of the whole heart-with despite of soul, For the sake of casting it out for a prey?

Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”

Therefore, prophesy concerning the ground of Israel, And thou hast said to mountains, and to hills, To streams, and to valleys, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I, in My jealousy, and in My fury, I have spoken, Because the shame of nations ye have borne.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’

Therefore thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 I have lifted up H5375 (QalPerf) mine hand, H3027 Surely the heathen H1471 that [are] about H5439 you, they shall bear H5375 (QalImpf) their shame. H3639

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I-I have lifted up My hand, Do not-the nations who are with you from round about-they their own shame bear?

therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.

Therefore thou shalt devour H398 (QalImpf) men H120 no more, neither bereave H7921 (PielImpf) H3782 (PielImpf) thy nations H1471 any more, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

Therefore, man thou devourest no more, And thy nations thou causest not to stumble any more, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

Therefore say H559 (QalImpv) unto the house H1004 of Israel, H3478 Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 I do H6213 (QalActPtc) not [this] for your sakes, O house H1004 of Israel, H3478 but for mine holy H6944 name’s H8034 sake, which ye have profaned H2490 (PielPerf) among the heathen, H1471 whither ye went. Therefore, say to the house of Israel, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Not for your sake am I working, O house of Israel, But-for My holy name, That ye have polluted among nations whither ye have gone in.

As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’ ”

As the holy H6944 flock, H6629 as the flock H6629 of Jerusalem H3389 in her solemn feasts; H4150 so shall the waste H2720 cities H5892 be filled H4392 with flocks H6629 of men: H120 and they shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I [am] the Lord. H3068

As a flock of holy ones, as a flock of Jerusalem, In her appointed seasons, So are the waste cities full of flocks of men, And they have known that I am Jehovah!’

Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

Therefore prophesy H5012 (NiphImpv) and say H559 (QalPerf) unto them, Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 Behold, O my people, H5971 I will open H6605 (QalActPtc) your graves, H6913 and cause you to come up H5927 (HiphPerf) out of your graves, H6913 and bring H935 (HiphPerf) you into the land H127 of Israel. Therefore, prophesy, and thou hast said unto them, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am opening your graves, And have brought you up out of your graves, O My people, And brought you in unto the land of Israel.

“Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, will you not know it?

Therefore, son H1121 of man, H120 prophesy H5012 (NiphImpv) and say H559 (QalPerf) unto Gog, H1463 Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 In that day H3117 when my people H5971 of Israel H3478 dwelleth H3427 (QalInf) safely, H983 shalt thou not know H3045 (QalImpf) [it]?

Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and thou hast said to Gog: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Dost thou not know?

“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

Therefore thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H136 God; H3069 Now will I bring again H7725 (HiphImpf) the captivity H7622 (Qere) H7622 of Jacob, H3290 and have mercy H7355 (PielPerf) upon the whole house H1004 of Israel, H3478 and will be jealous H7065 (PielPerf) for my holy H6944 name; H8034

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Now do I bring back the captivity of Jacob, And I have pitied all the house of Israel, And have been zealous for My holy name.

There were closed windows to the side rooms, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches. Windows were around inward. Palm trees were on each post.

And [there were] narrow H331 (QalPtc) windows H2474 to the little chambers, H8372 and to their posts H352 within H6441 the gate H8179 round about, H5439 and likewise to the arches: H361 and windows H2474 [were] round about H5439 inward: H6441 and upon [each] post H352 [were] palm trees. H8561

and narrow windows are unto the little chambers, and unto their posts at the inside of the gate all round about-and so to the arches-and windows all round about are at the inside, and at the post are palm-trees.

The side rooms were wider on the higher levels, because the walls were narrower at the higher levels. Therefore the width of the house increased upward; and so one went up from the lowest level to the highest through the middle level.

And [there was] an enlarging, H7337 (QalPerf) and a winding about H5437 (NiphPerf) still upward H4605 to the side chambers: H6763 for the winding about H4141 of the house H1004 went still upward H4605 round about H5439 the house: H1004 therefore the breadth H7341 of the house H1004 [was still] upward, H4605 and so increased H5927 (QalImpf) [from] the lowest H8481 [chamber] to the highest H5945 by the midst. And a broad place and a turning place still upwards are to the side-chambers, for the turning round of the house is still upwards all round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house is upwards, and so the lower one goeth up unto the higher by the midst.
