The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.

He took the calf which they had made, and burned it with fire, ground it to powder, and scattered it on the water, and made the children of Israel drink it.

Yahweh had said to Moses, “Tell the children of Israel, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go up among you for one moment, I would consume you. Therefore now take off your jewelry from you, that I may know what to do to you.’”

The children of Israel stripped themselves of their jewelry from Mount Horeb onward.

Yahweh said to Moses, “Write these words; for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.

ηνικα δ αν εισεπορευετο μωυσης εναντι κυριου λαλειν αυτω περιηρειτο το καλυμμα εως του εκπορευεσθαι και εξελθων ελαλει πασιν τοις υιοις ισραηλ οσα ενετειλατο αυτω κυριος

The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone; so Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 saw H7200 (QalPerf) the face H6440 of Moses, H4872 that the skin H5785 of Moses’ H4872 face H6440 shone: H7160 (QalPerf) and Moses H4872 put H7725 the vail H4533 upon his face H6440 again, H7725 (HiphPerf) until he went H935 (QalInf) in to speak H1696 (PielInf) with him.

και ειδον οι υιοι ισραηλ το προσωπον μωυση οτι δεδοξασται και περιεθηκεν μωυσης καλυμμα επι το προσωπον εαυτου εως αν εισελθη συλλαλειν αυτω

Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, “These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do them.

And Moses H4872 gathered H6950 all the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 together, H6950 (HiphImpf) and said H559 (QalImpf) unto them, These are the words H1697 which the Lord H3068 hath commanded, H6680 (PielPerf) that ye should do H6213 (QalInf) them.

και συνηθροισεν μωυσης πασαν συναγωγην υιων ισραηλ και ειπεν προς αυτους ουτοι οι λογοι ους ειπεν κυριος ποιησαι αυτους

Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded, saying,

And Moses H4872 spake H559 (QalImpf) unto all the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 saying, H559 (QalInf) This is the thing H1697 which the Lord H3068 commanded, H6680 (PielPerf) saying, H559 (QalInf)

και ειπεν μωυσης προς πασαν συναγωγην υιων ισραηλ λεγων τουτο το ρημα ο συνεταξεν κυριος λεγων

All the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

And all the congregation H5712 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 departed H3318 (QalImpf) from the presence H6440 of Moses. H4872

και εξηλθεν πασα συναγωγη υιων ισραηλ απο μωυση

The children of Israel brought a free will offering to Yahweh; every man and woman whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Yahweh had commanded to be made by Moses.

The children H1121 of Israel H3478 brought H935 (HiphPerf) a willing offering H5071 unto the Lord, H3068 every man H376 and woman, H802 whose H834 heart H3820 made them willing H5068 (QalPerf) to bring H935 (HiphInf) for all manner of work, H4399 which the Lord H3068 had commanded H6680 (PielPerf) to be made H6213 (QalInf) by the hand H3027 of Moses. και πας ανηρ και γυνη ων εφερεν η διανοια αυτων εισελθοντας ποιειν παντα τα εργα οσα συνεταξεν κυριος ποιησαι αυτα δια μωυση ηνεγκαν οι υιοι ισραηλ αφαιρεμα κυριω

Moses said to the children of Israel, “Behold, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

And Moses H4872 said H559 (QalImpf) unto the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 See, H7200 (QalImpv) the Lord H3068 hath called H7121 (QalPerf) by name H8034 Bezaleel H1212 the son H1121 of Uri, H221 the son H1121 of Hur, H2354 of the tribe H4294 of Judah; H3063

και ειπεν μωυσης τοις υιοις ισραηλ ιδου ανακεκληκεν ο θεος εξ ονοματος τον βεσελεηλ τον του ουριου τον ωρ εκ φυλης ιουδα

They received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, with which to make it. They kept bringing free will offerings to him every morning.

and they received H3947 (QalImpf) of H6440 Moses H4872 all the offering, H8641 which the children H1121 of Israel H3478 had brought H935 (HiphPerf) for the work H4399 of the service H5656 of the sanctuary, H6944 to make H6213 (QalInf) it withal. και ελαβον παρα μωυση παντα τα αφαιρεματα α ηνεγκαν οι υιοι ισραηλ εις παντα τα εργα του αγιου ποιειν αυτα και αυτοι προσεδεχοντο ετι τα προσφερομενα παρα των φεροντων το πρωι πρωι

They worked the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the children of Israel.

And they wrought H6213 (QalImpf) onyx H7718 stones H68 inclosed H4142 (HophPtc) in ouches H4865 of gold, H2091 graven, H6605 (PualPtc) as signets H2368 are graven, H6603 with the names H8034 of the children H1121 of Israel. H3478

^[36:13] και εποιησαν αμφοτερους τους λιθους της σμαραγδου συμπεπορπημενους και περισεσιαλωμενους χρυσιω γεγλυμμενους και εκκεκολαμμενους εκκολαμμα σφραγιδος εκ των ονοματων των υιων ισραηλ

He put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

And he put H7760 (QalImpf) them on the shoulders H3802 of the ephod, H646 that they should be stones H68 for a memorial H2146 to the children H1121 of Israel; H3478 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

^[36:14] και επεθηκεν αυτους επι τους ωμους της επωμιδος λιθους μνημοσυνου των υιων ισραηλ καθα συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση

The stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

And the stones H68 were according to the names H8034 of the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 twelve, H8147 H6240 according to their names, H8034 like the engravings H6603 of a signet, H2368 every one H376 with his name, H8034 according to the twelve H8147 H6240 tribes. H7626

^[36:21] και οι λιθοι ησαν εκ των ονοματων των υιων ισραηλ δωδεκα εκ των ονοματων αυτων εγγεγραμμενα εις σφραγιδας εκαστος εκ του εαυτου ονοματος εις τας δωδεκα φυλας

Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished. The children of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did.

Thus was all the work H5656 of the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 of the congregation H4150 finished: H3615 (QalImpf) and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 (QalImpf) according to all that the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses, H4872 so did H6213 (QalPerf) they.

^[39:10] και εποιησαν οι υιοι ισραηλ καθα συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση ουτως εποιησαν ^[39:11] το δε λοιπον χρυσιον του αφαιρεματος εποιησαν σκευη εις το λειτουργειν εν αυτοις εναντι κυριου ^[39:12] και την καταλειφθεισαν υακινθον και πορφυραν και το κοκκινον εποιησαν στολας λειτουργικας ααρων ωστε λειτουργειν εν αυταις εν τω αγιω

According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.

According to all that the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses, H4872 so the children H1121 of Israel H3478 made H6213 (QalPerf) all the work. H5656

^[39:22] οσα συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση ουτως εποιησαν οι υιοι ισραηλ πασαν την αποσκευην

When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;
