Haggai 2 (WEBP)
[1] In the seventh month, in the twenty-first day of the month, Yahweh’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
[2] “Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
[3] ‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How do you see it now? Isn’t it in your eyes as nothing?
[4] Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says Yahweh. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ says Yahweh, ‘and work, for I am with you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
[5] This is the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit lived among you. ‘Don’t be afraid.’
[6] For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: ‘Yet once more, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;
[7] and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies.
[8] The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
[9] ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says Yahweh of Armies; ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”
[10] In the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, Yahweh’s word came by Haggai the prophet, saying,
[11] “Yahweh of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
[12] ‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?’” The priests answered, “No.”
[13] Then Haggai said, “If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touches any of these, will it be unclean?” The priests answered, “It will be unclean.”
[14] Then Haggai answered, “‘So is this people, and so is this nation before me,’ says Yahweh; ‘and so is every work of their hands. That which they offer there is unclean.
[15] Now, please consider from this day and backward, before a stone was laid on a stone in Yahweh’s temple.
[16] Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.
[17] I struck you with blight, mildew, and hail in all the work of your hands; yet you didn’t turn to me,’ says Yahweh.
[18] ‘Consider, please, from this day and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of Yahweh’s temple was laid, consider it.
[19] Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven’t produced. From today I will bless you.’”
[20] Yahweh’s word came the second time to Haggai in the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,
[21] “Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, ‘I will shake the heavens and the earth.
[22] I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.
[23] In that day, says Yahweh of Armies, I will take you, Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says Yahweh, ‘and will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.”

Haggai 2 (KJVS)
[1] In the seventh H7637 month, in the one H259 and twentieth H6242 day of the month, H2320 came the word H1697 of the Lord H3068 by H3027 the§ prophet H5030 Haggai, H2292 saying, H559 (QalInf)
[2] Speak H559 (QalImpv) now to Zerubbabel H2216 the son H1121 of Shealtiel, H7597 governor H6346 of Judah, H3063 and to Joshua H3091 the son H1121 of Josedech, H3087 the high H1419 priest, H3548 and to the residue H7611 of the people, H5971 saying, H559 (QalInf)
[3] Who is left H7604 (NiphPtc) among you that saw H7200 (QalPerf) this house H1004 in her first H7223 glory? H3519 and how do ye see H7200 (QalActPtc) it now? is it not in your eyes H5869 in comparison H3644 of it as nothing?
[4] Yet now be strong, H2388 (QalImpv) O Zerubbabel, H2216 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord; H3068 and be strong, H2388 (QalImpv) O Joshua, H3091 son H1121 of Josedech, H3087 the high H1419 priest; H3548 and be strong, H2388 (QalImpv) all ye people H5971 of the land, H776 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord, H3068 and work: H6213 (QalImpv) for I am with you, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts: H6635
[5] According to the word H1697 that I covenanted H3772 (QalPerf) with you when ye came H3318 (QalInf) out of Egypt, H4714 so my spirit H7307 remaineth H5975 (QalActPtc) among H8432 you: fear H3372 (QalImpf) ye not.
[6] For thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 Yet once, H259 it is a little while, H4592 and I will shake H7493 (HiphPtc) the heavens, H8064 and the earth, H776 and the sea, H3220 and the dry H2724 land;
[7] and I will shake H7493 (HiphPerf) all nations, H1471 and the desire H2532 of all nations H1471 shall come: H935 (QalPerf) and I will fill H4390 (PielPerf) this house H1004 with glory, H3519 saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts. H6635
[8] The silver H3701 is mine, and the gold H2091 is mine, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts. H6635
[9] The glory H3519 of this latter H314 house H1004 shall be greater than H1419 of the former, H7223 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts: H6635 and in this place H4725 will I give H5414 (QalImpf) peace, H7965 saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts. H6635
[10] In the four H702 and twentieth H6242 day of the ninth H8671 month, in the second H8147 year H8141 of Darius, H1867 came the word H1697 of the Lord H3068 by H3027 Haggai H2292 the prophet, H5030 saying, H559 (QalInf)
[11] Thus saith H559 (QalPerf) the Lord H3068 of hosts; H6635 Ask H7592 (QalImpv) now the priests H3548 concerning the law, H8451 saying, H559 (QalInf)
[12] If one H376 bear H5375 (QalImpf) holy H6944 flesh H1320 in the skirt H3671 of his garment, H899 and with his skirt H3671 do touch H5060 (QalPerf) bread, H3899 or pottage, H5138 or wine, H3196 or oil, H8081 or any meat, H3978 shall it be holy? H6942 (QalImpf) And the priests H3548 answered H6030 (QalImpf) and said, H559 (QalImpf) No.
[13] Then said H559 (QalImpf) Haggai, H2292 If one that is unclean H2931 by a dead body H5315 touch H5060 (QalImpf) any of these, shall it be unclean? H2930 (QalImpf) And the priests H3548 answered H6030 (QalImpf) and said, H559 (QalImpf) It shall be unclean. H2930 (QalImpf)
[14] Then answered H6030 (QalImpf) Haggai, H2292 and said, H559 (QalImpf) So is this people, H5971 and so is this nation H1471 before H6440 me, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord; H3068 and so is every work H4639 of their hands; H3027 and that which they offer H7126 (HiphImpf) there is unclean. H2931
[15] And now, I pray you, consider H7760 (QalImpv) H3824 from this day H3117 and upward, H4605 from before H2962 a stone H68 was laid H7760 (QalInf) upon a stone H68 in the temple H1964 of the Lord: H3068
[16] since those days were, when one came H935 (QalPerf) to an heap H6194 of twenty H6242 measures, there were but ten: H6235 when one came H935 (QalPerf) to the pressfat H3342 for to draw out H2834 (QalInf) fifty H2572 vessels out of the press, H6333 there were but twenty. H6242
[17] I smote H5221 (HiphPerf) you with blasting H7711 and with mildew H3420 and with hail H1259 in all the labours H4639 of your hands; H3027 yet ye turned not to me, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord. H3068
[18] Consider H7760 (QalImpv) H3824 now from this day H3117 and upward, H4605 from the four H702 and twentieth H6242 day H3117 of the ninth H8671 month, even from the day H3117 that the foundation H3245 (PualPerf) of the Lord’s H3068 temple H1964 was laid, consider H7760 (QalImpv) H3824 it.
[19] Is the seed H2233 yet in the barn? H4035 yea, as yet the vine, H1612 and the fig tree, H8384 and the pomegranate, H7416 and the olive H2132 tree, H6086 hath not brought forth: H5375 (QalPerf) from this day H3117 will I bless H1288 (PielImpf) you.
[20] And again H8145 the word H1697 of the Lord H3068 came unto Haggai H2292 in the four H702 and twentieth H6242 day of the month, H2320 saying, H559 (QalInf)
[21] Speak H559 (QalImpv) to Zerubbabel, H2216 governor H6346 of Judah, H3063 saying, H559 (QalInf) I will shake H7493 (HiphPtc) the heavens H8064 and the earth; H776
[22] and I will overthrow H2015 (QalPerf) the throne H3678 of kingdoms, H4467 and I will destroy H8045 (HiphPerf) the strength H2392 of the kingdoms H4467 of the heathen; H1471 and I will overthrow H2015 (QalPerf) the chariots, H4818 and those that ride H7392 (QalActPtc) in them; and the horses H5483 and their riders H7392 (QalActPtc) shall come down, H3381 (QalPerf) every one H376 by the sword H2719 of his brother. H251
[23] In that day, H3117 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts, H6635 will I take H3947 (QalImpf) thee, O Zerubbabel, H2216 my servant, H5650 the son H1121 of Shealtiel, H7597 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord, H3068 and will make H7760 (QalPerf) thee as a signet: H2368 for I have chosen H977 (QalPerf) thee, saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H3068 of hosts.
