You shall prepare the way, and divide the borders of your land which Yahweh your God causes you to inherit into three parts, that every man slayer may flee there.

στοχασαι σοι την οδον και τριμεριεις τα ορια της γης σου ην καταμεριζει σοι κυριος ο θεος σου και εσται καταφυγη εκει παντι φονευτη

This is so that innocent blood will not be shed in the middle of your land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, leaving blood guilt on you.

that innocent H5355 blood H1818 be not shed H8210 (NiphImpf) in H7130 thy land, H776 which the Lord H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 (QalActPtc) thee for an inheritance, H5159 and so blood H1818 be upon thee.

και ουκ εκχυθησεται αιμα αναιτιον εν τη γη σου η κυριος ο θεος σου διδωσιν σοι εν κληρω και ουκ εσται εν σοι αιματι ενοχος

But if any man hates his neighbor, lies in wait for him, rises up against him, strikes him mortally so that he dies, and he flees into one of these cities;

But if any man H376 hate H8130 (QalActPtc) his neighbour, H7453 and lie in wait H693 (QalPerf) for him, and rise up H6965 (QalPerf) against him, and smite H5221 (HiphPerf) him mortally^§ H5315 that he die, H4191 (QalPerf) and fleeth H5127 (QalPerf) into one H259 of these H411 cities: H5892

εαν δε γενηται ανθρωπος μισων τον πλησιον και ενεδρευση αυτον και επαναστη επ αυτον και παταξη αυτου ψυχην και απεθανη και φυγη εις μιαν των πολεων τουτων

και εσται οταν παυσωνται οι γραμματεις λαλουντες προς τον λαον και καταστησουσιν αρχοντας της στρατιας προηγουμενους του λαου

It shall be, if it gives you answer of peace and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found therein shall become forced laborers to you, and shall serve you.

but the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, even all its plunder, you shall take for plunder for yourself. You may use the plunder of your enemies, which Yahweh your God has given you.

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not listen to them,

If a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,

If your brother isn’t near to you, or if you don’t know him, then you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother comes looking for it, and you shall restore it to him.

A woman shall not wear men’s clothing, neither shall a man put on women’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

They shall fine him one hundred shekels of silver,° and give them to the father of the young lady, because he has given a bad name to a virgin of Israel. She shall be his wife. He may not put her away all his days.

Deuteronomy 22:19 A shekel is about 10 grams or about 0.35 ounces, so 100 shekels is about a kilogram or 2.2 pounds.

εαν δε γενηται παις παρθενος μεμνηστευμενη ανδρι και ευρων αυτην ανθρωπος εν πολει κοιμηθη μετ αυτης

then the man who lay with her shall give to the lady’s father fifty shekels° of silver. She shall be his wife, because he has humbled her. He may not put her away all his days.

δωσει ο ανθρωπος ο κοιμηθεις μετ αυτης τω πατρι της νεανιδος πεντηκοντα διδραχμα αργυριου και αυτου εσται γυνη ανθ ων εταπεινωσεν αυτην ου δυνησεται εξαποστειλαι αυτην τον απαντα χρονον

You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.

You shall have a place also outside of the camp where you go relieve yourself.

^[23:14] και πασσαλος εσται σοι επι της ζωνης σου και εσται οταν διακαθιζανης εξω και ορυξεις εν αυτω και επαγαγων καλυψεις την ασχημοσυνην σου εν αυτω

for Yahweh your God walks in the middle of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you. Therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.

^[23:15] οτι κυριος ο θεος σου εμπεριπατει εν τη παρεμβολη σου εξελεσθαι σε και παραδουναι τον εχθρον σου προ προσωπου σου και εσται η παρεμβολη σου αγια και ουκ οφθησεται εν σοι ασχημοσυνη πραγματος και αποστρεψει απο σου

There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

When you vow a vow to Yahweh your God, you shall not be slack to pay it, for Yahweh your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.

But if you refrain from making a vow, it shall be no sin in you.

When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

When she has departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife after she is defiled; for that would be an abomination to Yahweh. You shall not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.

When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

εαν δε τις λαβη γυναικα προσφατως ουκ εξελευσεται εις τον πολεμον και ουκ επιβληθησεται αυτω ουδεν πραγμα αθωος εσται εν τη οικια αυτου ενιαυτον ενα ευφρανει την γυναικα αυτου ην ελαβεν

You shall surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his garment and bless you. It shall be righteousness to you before Yahweh your God.

αποδοσει αποδωσεις το ενεχυρον αυτου περι δυσμας ηλιου και κοιμηθησεται εν τω ιματιω αυτου και ευλογησει σε και εσται σοι ελεημοσυνη εναντιον κυριου του θεου σου

In his day you shall give him his wages, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you.

When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
