Job 42 (WEBP)
[1] Then Job answered Yahweh:
[2] “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
[3] You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.
[4] You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’
[5] I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.
[6] Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
[7] It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
[8] Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”
[9] So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what Yahweh commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.
[10] Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
[11] Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, came to him and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that Yahweh had brought on him. Everyone also gave him a piece of money,° and everyone a ring of gold.
[12] So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
[13] He had also seven sons and three daughters.
[14] He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.
[15] In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
[16] After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, to four generations.
[17] So Job died, being old and full of days.
Job 42:11 literally, kesitah, a unit of money, probably silver

Job 42 (KJVS)
[1] Then Job H347 answered H6030 (8799) the LORD H3068, and said H559 (8799),
[2] I know H3045 (8804) that thou canst do H3201 (8799) every [thing], and [that] no thought H4209 can be withholden H1219 (8735) from thee.
[3] Who [is] he that hideth H5956 (8688) counsel H6098 without knowledge H1847? therefore have I uttered H5046 (8689) that I understood H995 (8799) not; things too wonderful H6381 (8737) for me, which I knew H3045 (8799) not.
[4] Hear H8085 (8798), I beseech thee, and I will speak H1696 (8762): I will demand H7592 (8799) of thee, and declare H3045 (8685) thou unto me.
[5] I have heard H8085 (8804) of thee by the hearing H8088 of the ear H241: but now mine eye H5869 seeth H7200 (8804) thee.
[6] Wherefore I abhor H3988 (8799) [myself], and repent H5162 (8738) in dust H6083 and ashes H665.
[7] And it was [so], that after H310 the LORD H3068 had spoken H1696 (8765) these words H1697 unto Job H347, the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799) to Eliphaz H464 the Temanite H8489, My wrath H639 is kindled H2734 (8804) against thee, and against thy two H8147 friends H7453: for ye have not spoken H1696 (8765) of me [the thing that is] right H3559 (8737), as my servant H5650 Job H347 [hath].
[8] Therefore take H3947 (8798) unto you now seven H7651 bullocks H6499 and seven H7651 rams H352, and go H3212 (8798) to my servant H5650 Job H347, and offer up H5927 (8689) for yourselves a burnt offering H5930; and my servant H5650 Job H347 shall pray H6419 (8691) for you: for him H6440 will I accept H5375 (8799): lest I deal H6213 (8800) with you [after your] folly H5039, in that ye have not spoken H1696 (8765) of me [the thing which is] right H3559 (8737), like my servant H5650 Job H347.
[9] So Eliphaz H464 the Temanite H8489 and Bildad H1085 the Shuhite H7747 [and] Zophar H6691 the Naamathite H5284 went H3212 (8799), and did H6213 (8799) according as the LORD H3068 commanded H1696 (8765) them: the LORD H3068 also accepted H5375 (8799) Job H6440 H347.
[10] And the LORD H3068 turned H7725 (8804) the captivity H7622 (8675) H7622 of Job H347, when he prayed H6419 (8692) for his friends H7453: also the LORD H3068 gave H3254 (8686) Job H347 twice as much H4932 as he had before.
[11] Then came H935 (8799) there unto him all his brethren H251, and all his sisters H269, and all they that had been of his acquaintance H3045 (8802) before H6440, and did eat H398 (8799) bread H3899 with him in his house H1004: and they bemoaned H5110 (8799) him, and comforted H5162 (8762) him over all the evil H7451 that the LORD H3068 had brought H935 (8689) upon him: every man H376 also gave H5414 (8799) him a H259 piece of money H7192, and every one H376 an earring H5141 of gold H2091.
[12] So the LORD H3068 blessed H1288 (8765) the latter end H319 of Job H347 more than his beginning H7225: for he had fourteen H702 H6240 thousand H505 sheep H6629, and six H8337 thousand H505 camels H1581, and a thousand H505 yoke H6776 of oxen H1241, and a thousand H505 she asses H860.
[13] He had also seven H7658 sons H1121 and three H7969 daughters H1323.
[14] And he called H7121 (8799) the name H8034 of the first H259, Jemima H3224; and the name H8034 of the second H8145, Kezia H7103; and the name H8034 of the third H7992, Kerenhappuch H7163.
[15] And in all the land H776 were no women H802 found H4672 (8738) [so] fair H3303 as the daughters H1323 of Job H347: and their father H1 gave H5414 (8799) them inheritance H5159 among H8432 their brethren H251.
[16] After H310 this lived H2421 (8799) Job H347 an hundred H3967 and forty H705 years H8141, and saw H7200 (8799) his sons H1121, and his sons H1121’ sons H1121, [even] four H702 generations H1755.
[17] So Job H347 died H4191 (8799), [being] old H2205 and full H7649 of days H3117.
Young’s Literal Translation
Job 42 (YLT)
[1] And Job answereth Jehovah and saith:-
[2] Thou hast known that for all things Thou art able, And not withheld from Thee is any device:
[3] ‘Who is this, hiding counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore, I have declared, and understand not, Too wonderful for me, and I know not.
[4] ‘Hear, I pray thee, and I-I do speak, I ask thee, and cause thou me to know.’
[5] By the hearing of the ear I heard Thee, And now mine eye hath seen Thee.
[6] Therefore do I loathe it, And I have repented on dust and ashes.
[7] And it cometh to pass after Jehovah’s speaking these words unto Job, that Jehovah saith unto Eliphaz the Temanite, ‘Burned hath Mine anger against thee, and against thy two friends, because ye have not spoken concerning Me rightly, like My servant Job.
[8] And now, take to you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go ye unto My servant Job, and ye have caused a burnt-offering to ascend for you; and Job My servant doth pray for you, for surely his face I accept, so as not to do with you folly, because ye have not spoken concerning Me rightly, like My servant Job.
[9] And they go-Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, Zophar the Naamathite-and do as Jehovah hath spoken unto them; and Jehovah doth accept the face of Job.
[10] And Jehovah hath turned to the captivity of Job in his praying for his friends, and Jehovah doth add to all that Job hath-to double.
[11] And come unto him do all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all his former acquaintances, and they eat bread with him in his house, and bemoan him, and comfort him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him, and they gave to him each one kesitah, and each one ring of gold.
[12] And Jehovah hath blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning, and he hath fourteen thousand of a flock, and six thousand camels, and a thousand pairs of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.
[13] And he hath seven sons and three daughters;
[14] and he calleth the name of the one Jemima, and the name of the second Kezia, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.
[15] And there have not been found women fair as the daughters of Job in all the land, and their father doth give to them an inheritance in the midst of their brethren.
[16] And Job liveth after this a hundred and forty years, and seeth his sons, and his sons’ sons, four generations;
[17] and Job dieth, aged and satisfied with days.
