David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:

And David gathereth the sons of Aaron, and the Levites.

The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron was separated that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons forever, to burn incense before Yahweh, to minister to him, and to bless in his name forever.

Sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron is separated for his sanctifying the holy of holies, he and his sons-unto the age, to make perfume before Jehovah, to serve Him, and to bless in His name-unto the age.

For their duty was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of Yahweh’s house—in the courts, in the rooms, and in the purifying of all holy things, even the work of the service of God’s house;

Because their office H4612 [was] to wait H3027 on the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 for the service H5656 of the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 in the courts, H2691 and in the chambers, H3957 and in the purifying H2893 of all holy things, H6944 and the work H4639 of the service H5656 of the house H1004 of God; H430

for their station is at the side of the sons of Aaron, for the service of the house of Jehovah, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the cleansing of every holy thing, and the work of the service of the house of God,

and that they should keep the duty of the Tent of Meeting, the duty of the holy place, and the duty of the sons of Aaron their brothers for the service of Yahweh’s house.

And they have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren, for the service of the house of Jehovah.

These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Now [these are] the divisions H4256 of the sons H1121 of Aaron. H175 The sons H1121 of Aaron; H175 Nadab, H5070 and Abihu, H30 Eleazar, H499 and Ithamar. H385

And to the sons of Aaron are their courses: sons of Aaron are Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar,

This was their ordering in their service, to come into Yahweh’s house according to the ordinance given to them by Aaron their father, as Yahweh, the God of Israel, had commanded him.

These [were] the orderings H6486 of them in their service H5656 to come H935 (QalInf) into the house H1004 of the Lord, H3068 according to their manner, H4941 under H3027 Aaron H175 their father, H1 as the Lord H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478 had commanded H6680 (PielPerf) him.

These are their appointments for their service, to come in to the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as Jehovah God of Israel, commanded them.

These likewise cast lots even as their brothers the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the priests and of the Levites, the fathers’ households of the chief even as those of his younger brother.

‘Have ye not cast out the priests of Jehovah, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and make to you priests like the peoples of the lands? every one who hath come to fill his hand with a bullock, a son of the herd, and seven rams, even he hath been a priest to No-gods!

“But as for us, Yahweh is our God, and we have not forsaken him. We have priests serving Yahweh, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in their work.

But as for us, the Lord H3068 [is] our God, H430 and we have not forsaken H5800 (QalPerf) him; and the priests, H3548 which minister H8334 (PielPtc) unto the Lord, H3068 [are] the sons H1121 of Aaron, H175 and the Levites H3881 [wait] upon [their] business: H4399

‘As for us, Jehovah is our God, and we have not forsaken Him, and priests are ministering to Jehovah, sons of Aaron and the Levites, in the work,

They resisted Uzziah the king, and said to him, “It isn’t for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Yahweh, but for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed. It will not be for your honor from Yahweh God.”

and they stand up against Uzziah the king, and say to him, ‘Not for thee, O Uzziah, to make perfume to Jehovah, but for priests, sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to make perfume; go forth from the sanctuary, for thou hast trespassed, and it is not to thee for honour from Jehovah God.’

They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. He commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on Yahweh’s altar.

Also for the sons of Aaron the priests, who were in the fields of the pasture lands of their cities, in every city, there were men who were mentioned by name to give portions to all the males among the priests and to all who were listed by genealogy among the Levites.

And to sons of Aaron, the priests, in the fields of the suburb of their cities, in every city and city, are men who have been defined by name, to give portions to every male among the priests, and to every one who reckoned himself by genealogy among the Levites.

Afterward they prepared for themselves and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busy with offering the burnt offerings and the fat until night. Therefore the Levites prepared for themselves and for the priests the sons of Aaron.

And afterward H310 they made ready H3559 (HiphPerf) for themselves, and for the priests: H3548 because the priests H3548 the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 [were busied] in offering H5927 (HiphInf) of burnt offerings H5930 and the fat H2459 until night; H3915 therefore the Levites H3881 prepared H3559 (HiphPerf) for themselves, and for the priests H3548 the sons H1121 of Aaron. And afterward they have prepared for themselves, and for the priests: for the priests, sons of Aaron, are in the offering up of the burnt-offering and of the fat till night; and the Levites have prepared for themselves, and for the priests, sons of Aaron.

The priest, the descendent of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.

And the priest H3548 the son H1121 of Aaron H175 shall be with the Levites, H3881 when the Levites H3881 take tithes: H6237 (HiphInf) and the Levites H3881 shall bring up H5927 (HiphImpf) the tithe H4643 of the tithes H4643 unto the house H1004 of our God, H430 to the chambers, H3957 into the treasure H214 house. and the priest, son of Aaron, hath been with the Levites in the tithing of the Levites, and the Levites bring up the tithe of the tithe to the house of our God unto the chambers, to the treasure-house;

All Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the portions of the singers and the gatekeepers, as every day required; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.

And all Israel H3478 in the days H3117 of Zerubbabel, H2216 and in the days H3117 of Nehemiah, H5166 gave H5414 (QalActPtc) the portions H4521 of the singers H7891 (PolePtc) and the porters, H7778 every day H3117 his portion: H1697 and they sanctified H6942 (HiphPtc) [holy things] unto the Levites; H3881 and the Levites H3881 sanctified H6942 (HiphPtc) [them] unto the children H1121 of Aaron. And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, are giving the portions of the singers, and of the gatekeepers, the matter of a day in its day, and are sanctifying to the Levites, and the Levites are sanctifying to the sons of Aaron.

You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Thou hast led as a flock Thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron!

Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who call on his name. They called on Yahweh, and he answered them.

Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 among his priests, H3548 and Samuel H8050 among them that call H7121 (QalActPtc) upon his name; H8034 they called H7121 (QalActPtc) upon the Lord, H3068 and he answered H6030 (QalImpf) them.

Moses and Aaron among His priests, And Samuel among those proclaiming His name. They are calling unto Jehovah, And He doth answer them.

He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.

They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron, Yahweh’s saint.

And they are envious of Moses in the camp, Of Aaron, Jehovah’s holy one.

House of Aaron, trust in Yahweh! He is their help and their shield.

O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, ‘Their help and their shield is He.’

Yahweh remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.

The Lord H3068 hath been mindful H2142 (QalPerf) of us: he will bless H1288 (PielImpf) [us]; he will bless H1288 (PielImpf) the house H1004 of Israel; H3478 he will bless H1288 (PielImpf) the house H1004 of Aaron. H175

Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

Let the house of Aaron now say that his loving kindness endures forever.

Let the house H1004 of Aaron H175 now say, H559 (QalImpf) that his mercy H2617 [endureth] for ever. H5769

I pray you, let the house of Aaron say, That, to the age is His kindness.

It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard, that came down on the edge of his robes,

[It is] like the precious H2896 ointment H8081 upon the head, H7218 that ran down H3381 (QalActPtc) upon the beard, H2206 [even] Aaron’s H175 beard: H2206 that went down H3381 (QalActPtc) to the skirts H6310 of his garments; H4060

As the good oil on the head, Coming down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, That cometh down on the skirt of his robes,
