Judges 17:8 Heb. in making his way

και επορευθη ο ανηρ εκ της πολεως ιουδα εκ βηθλεεμ παροικειν ου εαν ευρη και εγενηθη εις ορος εφραιμ εως οικου μιχα του ποιησαι την οδον αυτου

Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”

And Micah H4318 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, Whence H370 comest H935 (QalImpf) thou? And he said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, I am a Levite H3881 of Beth-lehem-judah, H1035 H3063 and I go H1980 (QalActPtc) to sojourn H1481 (QalInf) where I may find H4672 (QalImpf) a place.

και ειπεν αυτω μιχα ποθεν ερχη και ειπεν προς αυτον λευιτης εγω ειμι εκ βηθλεεμ ιουδα και εγω πορευομαι παροικειν ου εαν ευρω

Micah said to him, “Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.

And Micah H4318 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, Dwell H3427 (QalImpv) with me, and be unto me a father H1 and a priest, H3548 and I will give H5414 (QalImpf) thee ten H6235 shekels of silver H3701 by the year, H3117 and a suit H6187 of apparel,^§ H899 and thy victuals. και ειπεν αυτω μιχα καθου μετ εμου και γενου μοι εις πατερα και εις ιερεα και εγω δωσω σοι δεκα αργυριου εις ημερας και ζευγος ιματιων και τα προς το ζην σου και επορευθη ο λευιτης

Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.

The children of Dan sent five men of their family from their whole number, men of valor, from Zorah and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land and to search it. They said to them, “Go, explore the land!” They came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.

When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite; so they went over there and said to him, “Who brought you here? What do you do in this place? What do you have here?”

He said to them, “Thus and thus has Micah dealt with me, and he has hired me, and I have become his priest.”

They went over there and came to the house of the young Levite man, even to the house of Micah, and asked him how he was doing.

Judges 18:15 Heb. asked him of peace

και εξεκλιναν εκει και εισηλθοσαν εις τον οικον του παιδαριου του λευιτου εις τον οικον μιχα και ησπασαντο αυτον

When these went into Micah’s house, and took the engraved image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image, the priest said to them, “What are you doing?”

When they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men who were in the houses near Micah’s house gathered together and overtook the children of Dan.

And when they were a good way H7368 (HiphPerf) from the house H1004 of Micah, H4318 the men H582 that were in the houses H1004 near to Micah’s H4318 house H1004 were gathered together, H2199 (NiphPerf) and overtook H1692 (HiphImpf) the children H1121 of Dan. H1835

αυτων δε μεμακρυγκοτων απο του οικου μιχα και ιδου μιχα και οι ανδρες οι συν τω οικω μετα μιχα εκραζον κατοπισω υιων δαν

As they called to the children of Dan, they turned their faces, and said to Micah, “What ails you, that you come with such a company?”

The children of Dan went their way; and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back to his house.
