And at the fulness of these days hath the king made to all the people who are found in Shushan the palace, from great even unto small, a banquet, seven days, in the court of the garden of the house of the king-

Let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the beautiful young virgins to the citadel of Susa, to the women’s house, to the custody of Hegai the king’s eunuch, keeper of the women. Let cosmetics be given them;

There was a certain Jew in the citadel of Susa whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite,

So, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together to the citadel of Susa, to the custody of Hegai, Esther was taken into the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

The couriers went out in haste by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given out in the citadel of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Susa was perplexed.

The runners have gone forth, hastened by the word of the king, and the law hath been given in Shushan the palace, and the king and Haman have sat down to drink, and the city Shushan is perplexed.

He also gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given out in Susa to destroy them, to show it to Esther, and to declare it to her, and to urge her to go in to the king to make supplication to him, and to make request before him for her people.

and the copy of the writing of the law that had been given in Shushan to destroy them he hath given to him, to shew Esther, and to declare it to her, and to lay a charge on her to go in unto the king, to make supplication to him, and to seek from before him, for her people.

“Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Susa, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I and my maidens will also fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

[So] the posts H7323 (8801) that rode H7392 (8802) upon mules H7409 [and] camels H327 went out H3318 (8804), being hastened H926 (8794) and pressed on H1765 (8803) by the king’s H4428 commandment H1697. And the decree H1881 was given H5414 (8738) at Shushan H7800 the palace H1002.

The runners, riding on the dromedary, and the mules, have gone out, hastened and pressed by the word of the king, and the law hath been given in Shushan the palace.

Mordecai went out of the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Susa shouted and was glad.

The king said to Esther the queen, “The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in the citadel of Susa, including the ten sons of Haman; what then have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces! Now what is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your further request? It shall be done.”

And the king H4428 said H559 (8799) unto Esther H635 the queen H4436, The Jews H3064 have slain H2026 (8804) and destroyed H6 (8763) five H2568 hundred H3967 men H376 in Shushan H7800 the palace H1002, and the ten H6235 sons H1121 of Haman H2001; what have they done H6213 (8804) in the rest H7605 of the king’s H4428 provinces H4082? now what [is] thy petition H7596? and it shall be granted H5414 (8735) thee: or what [is] thy request H1246 further H5750? and it shall be done H6213 (8735).

and the king saith to Esther the queen, ‘In Shushan the palace have the Jews slain and destroyed five hundred men, and the ten sons of Haman; in the rest of the provinces of the king what have they done? and what is thy petition? and it is given to thee; and what thy request again? and it is done.’

Then Esther said, “If it pleases the king, let it be granted to the Jews who are in Susa to do tomorrow also according to today’s decree, and let Haman’s ten sons be hanged on the gallows.”

Then said H559 (8799) Esther H635, If it please H2896 the king H4428, let it be granted H5414 (8735) to the Jews H3064 which [are] in Shushan H7800 to do H6213 (8800) to morrow H4279 also according unto this day’s H3117 decree H1881, and let Haman’s H2001 ten H6235 sons H1121 be hanged H8518 (8799) upon the gallows H6086.

And Esther saith, ‘If to the king it be good, let it be given also to-morrow, to the Jews who are in Shushan, to do according to the law of to-day; and the ten sons of Haman they hang on the tree.’

The king commanded this to be done. A decree was given out in Susa; and they hanged Haman’s ten sons.

And the king saith?’to be done so;’ and a law is given in Shushan, and the ten sons of Haman they have hanged.

The Jews who were in Susa gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and killed three hundred men in Susa; but they didn’t lay their hand on the plunder.

For the Jews H3064 that [were] in Shushan H7800 gathered themselves together H6950 (8735) on the fourteenth H702 H6240 day H3117 also of the month H2320 Adar H143, and slew H2026 (8799) three H7969 hundred H3967 men H376 at Shushan H7800; but on the prey H961 they laid H7971 (8804) not their hand H3027.

And the Jews who are in Shushan are assembled also on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they slay in Shushan three hundred men, and on the prey they have not put forth their hand.

Esther 9:18 (100.00%)

But the Jews who were in Susa assembled together on the thirteenth and on the fourteenth days of the month; and on the fifteenth day of that month, they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

But the Jews H3064 that [were] at Shushan H7800 assembled together H6950 (8738) on the thirteenth H7969 H6240 [day] thereof, and on the fourteenth H702 H6240 thereof; and on the fifteenth H2568 H6240 [day] of the same they rested H5118, and made H6213 (8800) it a day H3117 of feasting H4960 and gladness H8057.

And the Jews who are in Shushan have been assembled, on the thirteenth day of it, and on the fourteenth of it, even to rest on the fifteenth of it, and to make it a day of banquet and of joy.

I saw the vision. Now it was so, that when I saw, I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam. I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.

And I see in a vision, and it cometh to pass, in my seeing, and I am in Shushan the palace that is in Elam the province, and I see in a vision, and I have been by the stream Ulai.
