και εκοιμηθη αχαζ μετα των πατερων αυτου και εταφη εν πολει δαυιδ οτι ουκ εισηνεγκαν αυτον εις τους ταφους των βασιλεων ισραηλ και εβασιλευσεν εζεκιας υιος αυτου αντ αυτου

Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent to the tombs of the sons of David. All Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem honored him at his death. Manasseh his son reigned in his place.

και εκοιμηθη μανασσης μετα των πατερων αυτου και εθαψαν αυτον εν παραδεισω οικου αυτου και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου αμων υιος αυτου

For now I should have lain down and been quiet. I should have slept, then I would have been at rest,

νυν αν κοιμηθεις ησυχασα υπνωσας δε ανεπαυσαμην

When I lie down, I say, ‘When will I arise, and the night be gone?’ I toss and turn until the dawning of the day.

εαν κοιμηθω λεγω ποτε ημερα ως δ αν αναστω παλιν ποτε εσπερα πληρης δε γινομαι οδυνων απο εσπερας εως πρωι

Why do you not pardon my disobedience, and take away my iniquity? For now will I lie down in the dust. You will seek me diligently, but I will not be.”

και δια τι ουκ εποιησω της ανομιας μου ληθην και καθαρισμον της αμαρτιας μου νυνι δε εις γην απελευσομαι ορθριζων δε ουκετι ειμι

You will be secure, because there is hope. Yes, you will search, and will take your rest in safety.

πεποιθως τε εση οτι εστιν σοι ελπις εκ δε μεριμνης και φροντιδος αναφανειται σοι ειρηνη

so man lies down and doesn’t rise. Until the heavens are no more, they will not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.

So man H376 lieth down, H7901 (QalPerf) and riseth H6965 (QalImpf) not: Till the heavens H8064 be no more, H1115 they shall not awake, H6974 (HiphImpf) Nor be raised out H5782 (NiphImpf) of their sleep. H8142

ανθρωπος δε κοιμηθεις ου μη αναστη εως αν ο ουρανος ου μη συρραφη και ουκ εξυπνισθησονται εξ υπνου αυτων

His bones are full of his youth, but youth will lie down with him in the dust.

His bones H6106 are full H4390 (QalPerf) of the sin of his youth, H5934 Which shall lie down H7901 (QalImpf) with him in the dust. H6083

οστα αυτου ενεπλησθησαν νεοτητος αυτου και μετ αυτου επι χωματος κοιμηθησεται

They lie down alike in the dust. The worm covers them.

They shall lie down H7901 (QalImpf) alike H3162 in the dust, H6083 And the worms H7415 shall cover H3680 (PielImpf) them.

ομοθυμαδον δε επι γης κοιμωνται σαπρια δε αυτους εκαλυψεν

He lies down rich, but he will not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.

The rich H6223 man shall lie down, H7901 (QalImpf) but he shall not be gathered: H622 (NiphImpf) He openeth H6491 (QalPerf) his eyes, H5869 and he is not.
