1 Kings 17 (WEBP)
[1] Elijah the Tishbite, who was one of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As Yahweh, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
[2] Then Yahweh’s word came to him, saying,
[3] “Go away from here, turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, that is before the Jordan.
[4] You shall drink from the brook. I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
[5] So he went and did according to Yahweh’s word, for he went and lived by the brook Cherith that is before the Jordan.
[6] The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.
[7] After a while, the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
[8] Yahweh’s word came to him, saying,
[9] “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you.”
[10] So he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and said, “Please get me a little water in a jar, that I may drink.”
[11] As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
[12] She said, “As Yahweh your God lives, I don’t have anything baked, but only a handful of meal in a jar and a little oil in a jar. Behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
[13] Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go and do as you have said; but make me a little cake from it first, and bring it out to me, and afterward make some for you and for your son.
[14] For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘The jar of meal will not run out, and the jar of oil will not fail, until the day that Yahweh sends rain on the earth.’ ”
[15] She went and did according to the saying of Elijah; and she, he, and her household ate many days.
[16] The jar of meal didn’t run out and the jar of oil didn’t fail, according to Yahweh’s word, which he spoke by Elijah.
[17] After these things, the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.
[18] She said to Elijah, “What have I to do with you, you man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to memory, and to kill my son!”
[19] He said to her, “Give me your son.” He took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into the room where he stayed, and laid him on his own bed.
[20] He cried to Yahweh and said, “Yahweh my God, have you also brought evil on the widow with whom I am staying, by killing her son?”
[21] He stretched himself on the child three times, and cried to Yahweh and said, “Yahweh my God, please let this child’s soul come into him again.”
[22] Yahweh listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
[23] Elijah took the child and brought him down out of the room into the house, and delivered him to his mother; and Elijah said, “Behold, your son lives.”
[24] The woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God, and that Yahweh’s word in your mouth is truth.”

1 Kings 17 (KJVS)
[1] And Elijah H452 the Tishbite H8664, [who was] of the inhabitants H8453 of Gilead H1568, said H559 (8799) unto Ahab H256, [As] the LORD H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478 liveth H2416, before H6440 whom I stand H5975 (8804), there shall not be dew H2919 nor rain H4306 these years H8141, but according H6310 to my word H1697.
[2] And the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 came unto him, saying H559 (8800),
[3] Get H3212 (8798) thee hence, and turn H6437 (8804) thee eastward H6924, and hide H5641 (8738) thyself by the brook H5158 Cherith H3747, that [is] before H6440 Jordan H3383.
[4] And it shall be, [that] thou shalt drink H8354 (8799) of the brook H5158; and I have commanded H6680 (8765) the ravens H6158 to feed H3557 (8771) thee there.
[5] So he went H3212 (8799) and did H6213 (8799) according unto the word H1697 of the LORD H3068: for he went H3212 (8799) and dwelt H3427 (8799) by the brook H5158 Cherith H3747, that [is] before H6440 Jordan H3383.
[6] And the ravens H6158 brought H935 (8688) him bread H3899 and flesh H1320 in the morning H1242, and bread H3899 and flesh H1320 in the evening H6153; and he drank H8354 (8799) of the brook H5158.
[7] And it came to pass after H7093 a while H3117, that the brook H5158 dried up H3001 (8799), because there had been no rain H1653 in the land H776.
[8] And the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 came unto him, saying H559 (8800),
[9] Arise H6965 (8798), get H3212 (8798) thee to Zarephath H6886, which [belongeth] to Zidon H6721, and dwell H3427 (8804) there: behold, I have commanded H6680 (8765) a widow H490 woman H802 there to sustain H3557 (8771) thee.
[10] So he arose H6965 (8799) and went H3212 (8799) to Zarephath H6886. And when he came H935 (8799) to the gate H6607 of the city H5892, behold, the widow H490 woman H802 [was] there gathering H7197 (8781) of sticks H6086: and he called H7121 (8799) to her, and said H559 (8799), Fetch H3947 (8798) me, I pray thee, a little H4592 water H4325 in a vessel H3627, that I may drink H8354 (8799).
[11] And as she was going H3212 (8799) to fetch H3947 (8800) [it], he called H7121 (8799) to her, and said H559 (8799), Bring H3947 (8798) me, I pray thee, a morsel H6595 of bread H3899 in thine hand H3027.
[12] And she said H559 (8799), [As] the LORD H3068 thy God H430 liveth H2416, I have H3426 not a cake H4580, but an handful H4393 H3709 of meal H7058 in a barrel H3537, and a little H4592 oil H8081 in a cruse H6835: and, behold, I [am] gathering H7197 (8781) two H8147 sticks H6086, that I may go in H935 (8804) and dress H6213 (8804) it for me and my son H1121, that we may eat H398 (8804) it, and die H4191 (8804).
[13] And Elijah H452 said H559 (8799) unto her, Fear H3372 (8799) not; go H935 (8798) [and] do H6213 (8798) as thou hast said H1697: but make H6213 (8798) me thereof H8033 a little H6996 cake H5692 first H7223, and bring H3318 (8689) [it] unto me, and after H314 make H6213 (8799) for thee and for thy son H1121.
[14] For thus saith H559 (8804) the LORD H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478, The barrel H3537 of meal H7058 shall not waste H3615 (8799), neither shall the cruse H6835 of oil H8081 fail H2637 (8799), until the day H3117 [that] the LORD H3068 sendeth H5414 (8800) rain H1653 upon H6440 the earth H127.
[15] And she went H3212 (8799) and did H6213 (8799) according to the saying H1697 of Elijah H452: and she, and he, and her house H1004, did eat H398 (8799) [many] days H3117.
[16] [And] the barrel H3537 of meal H7058 wasted H3615 (8804) not, neither did the cruse H6835 of oil H8081 fail H2638, according to the word H1697 of the LORD H3068, which he spake H1696 (8765) by H3027 Elijah H452.
[17] And it came to pass after H310 these things H1697, [that] the son H1121 of the woman H802, the mistress H1172 of the house H1004, fell sick H2470 (8804); and his sickness H2483 was so H3966 sore H2389, that there was no breath H5397 left H3498 (8738) in him.
[18] And she said H559 (8799) unto Elijah H452, What have I to do with thee, O thou man H376 of God H430? art thou come H935 (8804) unto me to call H2142 my sin H5771 to remembrance H2142 (8687), and to slay H4191 (8687) my son H1121?
[19] And he said H559 (8799) unto her, Give H5414 (8798) me thy son H1121. And he took H3947 (8799) him out of her bosom H2436, and carried him up H5927 (8686) into a loft H5944, where he abode H3427 (8802), and laid H7901 (8686) him upon his own bed H4296.
[20] And he cried H7121 (8799) unto the LORD H3068, and said H559 (8799), O LORD H3068 my God H430, hast thou also brought evil H7489 (8689) upon the widow H490 with whom I sojourn H1481 (8711), by slaying H4191 (8687) her son H1121?
[21] And he stretched H4058 (8709) himself upon the child H3206 three H7969 times H6471, and cried H7121 (8799) unto the LORD H3068, and said H559 (8799), O LORD H3068 my God H430, I pray thee, let this child’s H3206 soul H5315 come H7725 into him H7130 again H7725 (8799).
[22] And the LORD H3068 heard H8085 (8799) the voice H6963 of Elijah H452; and the soul H5315 of the child H3206 came H7725 into him H7130 again H7725 (8799), and he revived H2421 (8799).
[23] And Elijah H452 took H3947 (8799) the child H3206, and brought him down H3381 (8686) out of the chamber H5944 into the house H1004, and delivered H5414 (8799) him unto his mother H517: and Elijah H452 said H559 (8799), See H7200 (8798), thy son H1121 liveth H2416.
[24] And the woman H802 said H559 (8799) to Elijah H452, Now by this H2088 I know H3045 (8804) that thou [art] a man H376 of God H430, [and] that the word H1697 of the LORD H3068 in thy mouth H6310 [is] truth H571.
Young’s Literal Translation
1 Kings 17 (YLT)
[1] And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, saith unto Ahab, ‘Jehovah, God of Israel, liveth, before whom I have stood, there is not these years dew and rain, except according to my word.’
[2] And the word of Jehovah is unto him, saying,
[3] ‘Go from this place; and thou hast turned for thee eastward, and been hidden by the brook Cherith, that is on the front of the Jordan,
[4] and it hath been, from the brook thou dost drink, and the ravens I have commanded to sustain thee there.’
[5] And he goeth and doth according to the word of Jehovah, yea, he goeth and dwelleth by the brook Cherith, that is on the front of the Jordan,
[6] and the ravens are bringing to him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening, and of the brook he drinketh.
[7] And it cometh to pass, at the end of days, that the brook drieth up, for there hath been no rain in the land,
[8] and the word of Jehovah is unto him, saying,
[9] ‘Rise, go to Zarephath, that is to Zidon, and thou hast dwelt there; lo, I have commanded there a widow woman to sustain thee.’
[10] And he riseth, and goeth to Zarephath, and cometh in unto the opening of the city, and lo there, a widow woman gathering sticks, and he calleth unto her, and saith, ‘Bring, I pray thee, to me, a little water in a vessel, and I drink.’
[11] And she goeth to bring it, and he calleth unto her and saith, ‘Bring, I pray thee, to me a morsel of bread in thy hand.’
[12] And she saith, ‘Jehovah thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but the fulness of the hand of meal in a pitcher, and a little oil in a dish; and lo, I am gathering two sticks, and have gone in and prepared it for myself, and for my son, and we have eaten it-and died.’
[13] And Elijah saith unto her, ‘Fear not, go, do according to thy word, only make for me thence a little cake, in the first place, and thou hast brought out to me; and for thee and for thy son make-last;
[14] for thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, The pitcher of meal is not consumed, and the dish of oil is not lacking, till the day of Jehovah’s giving a shower on the face of the ground.’
[15] And she goeth, and doth according to the word of Elijah, and she eateth, she and he, and her household-days;
[16] the pitcher of meal was not consumed, and the dish of oil did not lack, according to the word of Jehovah that He spake by the hand of Elijah.
[17] And it cometh to pass, after these things, the son of the woman, mistress of the house, hath been sick, and his sickness is very severe till that no breath hath been left in him.
[18] And she saith unto Elijah, ‘What-to me and to thee, O man of God? thou hast come unto me to cause mine iniquity to be remembered, and to put my son to death!’
[19] And he saith unto her, ‘Give to me thy son;’ and he taketh him out of her bosom, and taketh him up unto the upper chamber where he is abiding, and layeth him on his own bed,
[20] and crieth unto Jehovah, and saith, ‘Jehovah my God, also on the widow with whom I am sojourning hast Thou done evil-to put her son to death?’
[21] And he stretcheth himself out on the lad three times, and calleth unto Jehovah, and saith, ‘O Jehovah my God, let turn back, I pray Thee, the soul of this lad into his midst;’
[22] and Jehovah hearkeneth to the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the lad turneth back into his midst, and he liveth.
[23] And Elijah taketh the lad, and bringeth him down from the upper chamber of the house, and giveth him to his mother, and Elijah saith, ‘See, thy son liveth!’
[24] And the woman saith unto Elijah, ‘Now, this I have known, that a man of God thou art, and the word of Jehovah in thy mouth is truth.’
