Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering,

και αβελ ηνεγκεν και αυτος απο των πρωτοτοκων των προβατων αυτου και απο των στεατων αυτων και επειδεν ο θεος επι αβελ και επι τοις δωροις αυτου

Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.’

“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread. The fat of my feast shall not remain all night until the morning.

Thou shalt not offer H2076 (QalImpf) the blood H1818 of my sacrifice H2077 with leavened bread; H2557 neither shall the fat H2459 of my sacrifice H2282 remain H3885 (QalImpf) until the morning. H1242

οταν γαρ εκβαλω εθνη απο προσωπου σου και εμπλατυνω τα ορια σου ου θυσεις επι ζυμη αιμα θυσιασματος μου ουδε μη κοιμηθη στεαρ της εορτης μου εως πρωι

You shall take all the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.

And thou shalt take H3947 (QalPerf) all the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 (PielPtc) the inwards, H7130 and the caul H3508 [that is] above the liver, H3516 and the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that [is] upon them, and burn H6999 (HiphPerf) [them] upon the altar. H4196

και λημψη παν το στεαρ το επι της κοιλιας και τον λοβον του ηπατος και τους δυο νεφρους και το στεαρ το επ αυτων και επιθησεις επι το θυσιαστηριον

Also you shall take some of the ram’s fat, the fat tail, the fat that covers the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys, the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),

He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

And he shall offer H7126 (HiphPerf) of the sacrifice H2077 of the peace offering H8002 an offering made by fire H801 unto the Lord; H3068 the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 (PielPtc) the inwards, H7130 and all the fat H2459 that [is] upon the inwards, H7130

και προσαξουσιν απο της θυσιας του σωτηριου καρπωμα κυριω το στεαρ το κατακαλυπτον την κοιλιαν και παν το στεαρ το επι της κοιλιας

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

And the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that [is] on them, which [is] by the flanks, H3689 and the caul H3508 above the liver, H3516 with the kidneys, H3629 it shall he take away. H5493 (HiphImpf)

He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,

και προσοισει απο της θυσιας του σωτηριου καρπωμα τω θεω το στεαρ και την οσφυν αμωμον συν ταις ψοαις περιελει αυτο και το στεαρ της κοιλιας

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.

And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) them upon the altar: H4196 [it is] the food H3899 of the offering made by fire H801 for a sweet H5207 savour: H7381 all the fat H2459 [is] the Lord’s. H3068

“ ‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’ ”

He shall take all the fat of the bull of the sin offering from it: the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

And he shall take off H7311 (HiphImpf) from it all the fat H2459 of the bullock H6499 for the sin offering; H2403 the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 (PielPtc) the inwards, H7130 and all the fat H2459 that [is] upon the inwards, H7130

και παν το στεαρ του μοσχου του της αμαρτιας περιελει απ αυτου το στεαρ το κατακαλυπτον τα ενδοσθια και παν το στεαρ το επι των ενδοσθιων

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall remove,

And the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that [is] upon them, which [is] by the flanks, H3689 and the caul H3508 above the liver, H3516 with the kidneys, H3629 it shall he take away, H5493 (HiphImpf)

και τους δυο νεφρους και το στεαρ το επ αυτων ο εστιν επι των μηριων και τον λοβον τον επι του ηπατος συν τοις νεφροις περιελει αυτο

All its fat he shall take from it, and burn it on the altar.

And he shall take H7311 (HiphImpf) all his fat H2459 from him, and burn H6999 (HiphPerf) [it] upon the altar. H4196

και το παν στεαρ περιελει απ αυτου και ανοισει επι το θυσιαστηριον

All its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be forgiven.

And he shall burn H6999 (HiphImpf) all his fat H2459 upon the altar, H4196 as the fat H2459 of the sacrifice H2077 of peace offerings: H8002 and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for him as concerning his sin, H2403 and it shall be forgiven H5545 (NiphPerf) him.

και το παν στεαρ αυτου ανοισει επι το θυσιαστηριον ωσπερ το στεαρ θυσιας σωτηριου και εξιλασεται περι αυτου ο ιερευς απο της αμαρτιας αυτου και αφεθησεται αυτω

All its fat he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

And he shall take away H5493 (HiphImpf) all the fat H2459 thereof, as the fat H2459 is taken away H5493 (HophPerf) from off the sacrifice H2077 of peace offerings; H8002 and the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) [it] upon the altar H4196 for a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the Lord; H3068 and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for him, and it shall be forgiven H5545 (NiphPerf) him.

και παν το στεαρ περιελει ον τροπον περιαιρειται στεαρ απο θυσιας σωτηριου και ανοισει ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον εις οσμην ευωδιας κυριω και εξιλασεται περι αυτου ο ιερευς και αφεθησεται αυτω

He shall remove all its fat, like the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings. The priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.

And he shall take away H5493 (HiphImpf) all the fat H2459 thereof, as the fat H2459 of the lamb H3775 is taken away H5493 (HophImpf) from the sacrifice H2077 of the peace offerings; H8002 and the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) them upon the altar, H4196 according to the offerings made by fire H801 unto the Lord: H3068 and the priest H3548 shall make an atonement H3722 (PielPerf) for his sin H2403 that he hath committed, H2398 (QalPerf) and it shall be forgiven H5545 (NiphPerf) him.

και παν αυτου το στεαρ περιελει ον τροπον περιαιρειται στεαρ προβατου εκ της θυσιας του σωτηριου και επιθησει αυτο ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον επι το ολοκαυτωμα κυριου και εξιλασεται περι αυτου ο ιερευς περι της αμαρτιας ης ημαρτεν και αφεθησεται αυτω

The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, it shall not go out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning. He shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

And the fire H784 upon the altar H4196 shall be burning H3344 (HophImpf) in it; it shall not be put out: H3518 (QalImpf) and the priest H3548 shall burn H1197 (PielPerf) wood H6086 on it every morning, H1242 and lay the burnt offering H5930 in order H6186 (QalPerf) upon it; and he shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) thereon the fat H2459 of the peace offerings. H8002

^[6:5] και πυρ επι το θυσιαστηριον καυθησεται απ αυτου και ου σβεσθησεται και καυσει ο ιερευς επ αυτο ξυλα το πρωι και στοιβασει επ αυτου την ολοκαυτωσιν και επιθησει επ αυτο το στεαρ του σωτηριου

and he shall take away the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys;

And the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and the fat H2459 that [is] on them, which [is] by the flanks, H3689 and the caul H3508 [that is] above the liver, H3516 with the kidneys, H3629 it shall he take away: H5493 (HiphImpf)

“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.

λαλησον τοις υιοις ισραηλ λεγων παν στεαρ βοων και προβατων και αιγων ουκ εδεσθε

The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you shall in no way eat of it.

For whoever eats the fat of the animal which men offer as an offering made by fire to Yahweh, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people.

For whosoever eateth H398 (QalActPtc) the fat H2459 of the beast, H929 of which men offer H7126 (HiphImpf) an offering made by fire H801 unto the Lord, H3068 even the soul H5315 that eateth H398 (QalActPtc) [it] shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from his people. H5971

With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before Yahweh.

His own hands H3027 shall bring H935 (HiphImpf) the offerings H801 of the Lord H3068 made by fire, H801 the fat H2459 with the breast, H2373 it shall he bring, H935 (HiphImpf) that the breast H2373 may be waved H5130 (HiphInf) [for] a wave offering H8573 before H6440 the Lord. H3068

αι χειρες αυτου προσοισουσιν τα καρπωματα κυριω το στεαρ το επι του στηθυνιου και τον λοβον του ηπατος προσοισει αυτα ωστε επιθειναι δομα εναντι κυριου

The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.

And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 (HiphPerf) the fat H2459 upon the altar: H4196 but the breast H2373 shall be Aaron’s H175 and his sons’. H1121

He among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right thigh for a portion.

He took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat that was on the innards, the cover of the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh;

And he took H3947 (QalImpf) the fat, H2459 and the rump, H451 and all the fat H2459 that [was] upon the inwards, H7130 and the caul H3508 [above] the liver, H3516 and the two H8147 kidneys, H3629 and their fat, H2459 and the right H3225 shoulder: H7785

and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before Yahweh, he took one unleavened cake, one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat and on the right thigh.

And out of the basket H5536 of unleavened H4682 bread, H3899 that [was] before H6440 the Lord, H3068 he took H3947 (QalPerf) one H259 unleavened H4682 cake, H2471 and a cake H2471 of oiled H8081 bread, and one H259 wafer, H7550 and put H7760 (QalImpf) [them] on the fat, H2459 and upon the right H3225 shoulder: H7785

και απο του κανου της τελειωσεως του οντος εναντι κυριου ελαβεν αρτον ενα αζυμον και αρτον εξ ελαιου ενα και λαγανον εν και επεθηκεν επι το στεαρ και τον βραχιονα τον δεξιον

but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

But the fat, H2459 and the kidneys, H3629 and the caul H3508 above H4480 the liver H3516 of the sin offering, H2403 he burnt H6999 (HiphPerf) upon the altar; H4196 as the Lord H3068 commanded H6680 (PielPerf) Moses. H4872

και το στεαρ το απο του μοσχου και του κριου την οσφην και το στεαρ το κατακαλυπτον επι της κοιλιας και τους δυο νεφρους και το στεαρ το επ αυτων και τον λοβον τον επι του ηπατος

and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar.

And they put H7760 (QalImpf) the fat H2459 upon the breasts, H2373 and he burnt H6999 (HiphImpf) the fat H2459 upon the altar: H4196

και επεθηκεν τα στεατα επι τα στηθυνια και ανηνεγκαν τα στεατα επι το θυσιαστηριον

Fire came out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

And there came H3318 (QalImpf) a fire H784 out from before H6440 the Lord, H3068 and consumed H398 (QalImpf) upon the altar H4196 the burnt offering H5930 and the fat: H2459 [which] when all the people H5971 saw, H7200 (QalImpf) they shouted, H7442 (QalImpf) and fell H5307 (QalImpf) on their faces. και εξηλθεν πυρ παρα κυριου και κατεφαγεν τα επι του θυσιαστηριου τα τε ολοκαυτωματα και τα στεατα και ειδεν πας ο λαος και εξεστη και επεσαν επι προσωπον

They shall bring the heaved thigh and the waved breast with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before Yahweh. It shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever, as Yahweh has commanded.”

The heave H8641 shoulder H7785 and the wave H8573 breast H2373 shall they bring H935 (HiphImpf) with the offerings made by fire H801 of the fat, H2459 to wave H5130 (HiphInf) [it for] a wave offering H8573 before H6440 the Lord; H3068 and it shall be thine, and thy sons’ H1121 with thee, by a statute H2706 for ever; H5769 as the Lord H3068 hath commanded. H6680 (PielPerf)

τον βραχιονα του αφαιρεματος και το στηθυνιον του αφορισματος επι των καρπωματων των στεατων προσοισουσιν αφορισμα αφορισαι εναντι κυριου και εσται σοι και τοις υιοις σου και ταις θυγατρασιν σου μετα σου νομιμον αιωνιον ον τροπον συνεταξεν κυριος τω μωυση

The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.

And the fat H2459 of the sin offering H2403 shall he burn H6999 (HiphImpf) upon the altar. H4196

και το στεαρ το περι των αμαρτιων ανοισει επι το θυσιαστηριον

The priest shall sprinkle the blood on Yahweh’s altar at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

And the priest H3548 shall sprinkle H2236 (QalPerf) the blood H1818 upon the altar H4196 of the Lord H3068 [at] the door H6607 of the tabernacle H168 of the congregation, H4150 and burn H6999 (HiphPerf) the fat H2459 for a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the Lord. H3068

και προσχεει ο ιερευς το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω απεναντι κυριου παρα τας θυρας της σκηνης του μαρτυριου και ανοισει το στεαρ εις οσμην ευωδιας κυριω

“I have given to you all the best of the oil, all the best of the vintage, and of the grain, the first fruits of them which they give to Yahweh.

All the best H2459 of the oil, H3323 and all the best H2459 of the wine, H8492 and of the wheat, H1715 the firstfruits H7225 of them which they shall offer H5414 (QalImpf) unto the Lord, H3068 them have I given H5414 (QalPerf) thee.

πασα απαρχη ελαιου και πασα απαρχη οινου και σιτου απαρχη αυτων οσα αν δωσι τω κυριω σοι δεδωκα αυτα

“But you shall not redeem the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat. They are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar, and shall burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

But the firstling H1060 of a cow, H7794 or the firstling H1060 of a sheep, H3775 or the firstling H1060 of a goat, H5795 thou shalt not redeem; H6299 (QalImpf) they [are] holy: H6944 thou shalt sprinkle H2236 (QalImpf) their blood H1818 upon the altar, H4196 and shalt burn H6999 (HiphImpf) their fat H2459 [for] an offering made by fire, H801 for a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the Lord. H3068

πλην πρωτοτοκα μοσχων και πρωτοτοκα προβατων και πρωτοτοκα αιγων ου λυτρωση αγια εστιν και το αιμα αυτων προσχεεις προς το θυσιαστηριον και το στεαρ ανοισεις καρπωμα εις οσμην ευωδιας κυριω

Out of all your gifts, you shall offer every wave offering to Yahweh, of all its best parts, even the holy part of it.’

Out of all your gifts H4979 ye shall offer H7311 (HiphImpf) every heave offering H8641 of the Lord, H3068 of all the best H2459 thereof, [even] the hallowed part H4720 thereof out of it.
