και εγενετο ανηρ εξ ορους εφραιμ και ονομα αυτω μιχα

When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, who made a carved image and a molten image out of it. It was in the house of Micah.

και απεδωκεν το αργυριον τη μητρι αυτου και ελαβεν η μητηρ αυτου διακοσιους του αργυριου και εδωκεν αυτο τω χωνευτη και εποιησεν αυτο γλυπτον και χωνευτον και εγενετο εν τω οικω μιχα

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Yahweh, Micaiah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.” Jehoshaphat said, “Don’t let the king say so.”

And the king H4428 of Israel H3478 said H559 (QalImpf) unto Jehoshaphat, H3092 There is yet one H259 man, H376 Micaiah H4321 the son H1121 of Imlah, H3229 by whom we may enquire H1875 (QalInf) of the Lord: H3068 but I hate H8130 (QalPerf) him; for he doth not prophesy H5012 (HithImpf) good H2896 concerning me, but evil. H7451 And Jehoshaphat H3092 said, H559 (QalImpf) Let not the king H4428 say H559 (QalImpf) so.

και ειπεν ο βασιλευς ισραηλ προς ιωσαφατ ετι εστιν ανηρ εις του επερωτησαι τον κυριον δι αυτου και εγω μεμισηκα αυτον οτι ου λαλει περι εμου καλα αλλ η κακα μιχαιας υιος ιεμλα και ειπεν ιωσαφατ βασιλευς ιουδα μη λεγετω ο βασιλευς ουτως

Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, “Quickly get Micaiah the son of Imlah.”

Then the king H4428 of Israel H3478 called H7121 (QalImpf) an H259 officer,^§ H5631 and said, H559 (QalImpf) Hasten H4116 (PielImpv) hither Micaiah H4321 the son H1121 of Imlah. H3229

The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “See now, the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak good.”

And the messenger H4397 that was gone H1980 (QalPerf) to call H7121 (QalInf) Micaiah H4321 spake H1696 (PielPerf) unto him, saying, H559 (QalInf) Behold now, the words H1697 of the prophets H5030 declare good H2896 unto the king H4428 with one H259 mouth: H6310 let thy word, H1697 I pray thee, be like the word H1697 of one H259 of them, and speak H1696 (PielPerf) that which is good. και ο αγγελος ο πορευθεις καλεσαι τον μιχαιαν ελαλησεν αυτω λεγων ιδου δη λαλουσιν παντες οι προφηται εν στοματι ενι καλα περι του βασιλεως γινου δη και συ εις λογους σου κατα τους λογους ενος τουτων και λαλησον καλα

Micaiah said, “As Yahweh lives, what Yahweh says to me, that I will speak.”

και ειπεν μιχαιας ζη κυριος οτι α αν ειπη κυριος προς με ταυτα λαλησω

When he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall we forbear?” He answered him, “Go up and prosper; and Yahweh will deliver it into the hand of the king.”

So he came H935 (QalImpf) to the king. H4428 And the king H4428 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, Micaiah, H4321 shall we go H3212 (QalImpf) against Ramoth-gilead H7433 H1568 to battle, H4421 or shall we forbear? H2308 (QalImpf) And he answered H559 (QalImpf) him, Go, H5927 (QalImpv) and prosper: H6743 (HiphImpv) for the Lord H3068 shall deliver H5414 (QalPerf) it into the hand H3027 of the king. H4428

και ηλθεν προς τον βασιλεα και ειπεν αυτω ο βασιλευς μιχαια ει αναβω εις ρεμμαθ γαλααδ εις πολεμον η επισχω και ειπεν αναβαινε και ευοδωσει και δωσει κυριος εις χειρα του βασιλεως

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

But Zedekiah H6667 the son H1121 of Chenaanah H3668 went near, H5066 (QalImpf) and smote H5221 (HiphImpf) Micaiah H4321 on the cheek, H3895 and said, H559 (QalImpf) Which way H335 went H5674 (QalPerf) the Spirit H7307 of the Lord H3068 from me to speak H1696 (PielInf) unto thee?

και προσηλθεν σεδεκιου υιος χανανα και επαταξεν τον μιχαιαν επι την σιαγονα και ειπεν ποιον πνευμα κυριου το λαλησαν εν σοι

Micaiah said, “Behold, you will see on that day when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”

And Micaiah H4321 said, H559 (QalImpf) Behold, thou shalt see H7200 (QalActPtc) in that day, H3117 when thou shalt go H935 (QalImpf) into an inner H2315 chamber^§ H2315 to hide H2247 (NiphInf) thyself.

και ειπεν μιχαιας ιδου συ οψη εν τη ημερα εκεινη οταν εισελθης ταμιειον του ταμιειου του κρυβηναι

The king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son.

And the king H4428 of Israel H3478 said, H559 (QalImpf) Take H3947 (QalImpv) Micaiah, H4321 and carry him back H7725 (HiphImpv) unto Amon H526 the governor H8269 of the city, H5892 and to Joash H3101 the king’s H4428 son; H1121

και ειπεν ο βασιλευς ισραηλ λαβετε τον μιχαιαν και αποστρεψατε αυτον προς εμηρ τον αρχοντα της πολεως και τω ιωας υιω του βασιλεως

Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, Yahweh has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, all you people!”

And Micaiah H4321 said, H559 (QalImpf) If thou return H7725 (QalImpf) at all H7725 (QalInf) in peace, H7965 the Lord H3068 hath not spoken H1696 (PielPerf) by me. And he said, H559 (QalImpf) Hearken, H8085 (QalImpv) O people, H5971 every one of you.

Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, “Get Micaiah the son of Imla quickly.”

And the king H4428 of Israel H3478 called H7121 (QalImpf) for one H259 of his officers,^§ H5631 and said, H559 (QalImpf) Fetch^§ quickly H4116 (PielImpv) Micaiah H4319 the son H1121 of Imla. H3229

The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Let your word therefore, please be like one of theirs, and speak good.”

And the messenger H4397 that went H1980 (QalPerf) to call H7121 (QalInf) Micaiah H4321 spake H1696 (PielPerf) to him, saying, H559 (QalInf) Behold, the words H1697 of the prophets H5030 declare good H2896 to the king H4428 with one H259 assent;^§ H6310 let thy word H1697 therefore, I pray thee, be like one H259 of their’s, and speak H1696 (PielPerf) thou good. Micaiah said, “As Yahweh lives, I will say what my God says.”

και ειπεν μιχαιας ζη κυριος οτι ο εαν ειπη ο θεος προς με αυτο λαλησω

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, “Which way did Yahweh’s Spirit go from me to speak to you?”

Then Zedekiah H6667 the son H1121 of Chenaanah H3668 came near, H5066 (QalImpf) and smote H5221 (HiphImpf) Micaiah H4321 upon the cheek, H3895 and said, H559 (QalImpf) Which H335 way H1870 went H5674 (QalPerf) the Spirit H7307 of the Lord H3068 from me to speak H1696 (PielInf) unto thee?

και ηγγισεν σεδεκιας υιος χανανα και επαταξεν τον μιχαιαν επι την σιαγονα και ειπεν αυτω ποια τη οδω παρηλθεν πνευμα κυριου παρ εμου του λαλησαι προς σε

Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself.”

And Micaiah H4321 said, H559 (QalImpf) Behold, thou shalt see H7200 (QalActPtc) on that day H3117 when thou shalt go H935 (QalImpf) into an inner H2315 chamber^§ H2315 to hide H2244 (NiphInf) thyself.

The king of Israel said, “Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;

και ειπεν βασιλευς ισραηλ λαβετε τον μιχαιαν και αποστρεψατε προς εμηρ αρχοντα της πολεως και προς ιωας αρχοντα υιον του βασιλεως

Micaiah said, “If you return at all in peace, Yahweh has not spoken by me.” He said, “Listen, you people, all of you!”

And Micaiah H4321 said, H559 (QalImpf) If thou certainly H7725 (QalInf) return H7725 (QalImpf) in peace, H7965 then hath not the Lord H3068 spoken H1696 (PielPerf) by me. And he said, H559 (QalImpf) Hearken, H8085 (QalImpv) all ye people. H5971

και ειπεν μιχαιας εαν επιστρεφων επιστρεψης εν ειρηνη ουκ ελαλησεν κυριος εν εμοι ακουσατε λαοι παντες

When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all Yahweh’s words,

When Michaiah H4321 the son H1121 of Gemariah, H1587 the son H1121 of Shaphan, H8227 had heard H8085 (QalImpf) out of the book H5612 all the words H1697 of the Lord, H3068

Then Micaiah declared to them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
