^[1] The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.
^[2] It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;
^[3] and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.
^[4] The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
^[5] This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.
^[6] The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
^[7] It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
^[8] From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
^[9] together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
^[10] They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.

^[2] And goeth out H3318 (8804) from Bethel H1008 to Luz H3870, and passeth along H5674 (8804) unto the borders H1366 of Archi H757 to Ataroth H5852,
^[3] And goeth down H3381 (8804) westward H3220 to the coast H1366 of Japhleti H3311, unto the coast H1366 of Bethhoron H1032 the nether H8481, and to Gezer H1507: and the goings out H8444 thereof are at the sea H3220.
^[4] So the children H1121 of Joseph H3130, Manasseh H4519 and Ephraim H669, took their inheritance H5157 (8799).
^[5] And the border H1366 of the children H1121 of Ephraim H669 according to their families H4940 was [thus]: even the border H1366 of their inheritance H5159 on the east side H4217 was Atarothaddar H5853, unto Bethhoron H1032 the upper H5945;
^[6] And the border H1366 went out H3318 (8804) toward the sea H3220 to Michmethah H4366 on the north side H6828; and the border H1366 went about H5437 (8738) eastward H4217 unto Taanathshiloh H8387, and passed H5674 (8804) by it on the east H4217 to Janohah H3239;
^[7] And it went down H3381 (8804) from Janohah H3239 to Ataroth H5852, and to Naarath H5292, and came H6293 (8804) to Jericho H3405, and went out H3318 (8804) at Jordan H3383.
^[8] The border H1366 went out H3212 (8799) from Tappuah H8599 westward H3220 unto the river H5158 Kanah H7071; and the goings out H8444 thereof were at the sea H3220. This [is] the inheritance H5159 of the tribe H4294 of the children H1121 of Ephraim H669 by their families H4940.
^[9] And the separate H3995 cities H5892 for the children H1121 of Ephraim H669 [were] among H8432 the inheritance H5159 of the children H1121 of Manasseh H4519, all the cities H5892 with their villages H2691.
^[10] And they drave not out H3423 (8689) the Canaanites H3669 that dwelt H3427 (8802) in Gezer H1507: but the Canaanites H3669 dwell H3427 (8799) among H7130 the Ephraimites H669 unto this day H3117, and serve H5647 (8802) under tribute H4522.

Joshua 16 (YLT)

^[1] And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan by Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,
^[2] and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi to Ataroth,
^[3] and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.
^[4] And the sons of Joseph-Manasseh and Ephraim-inherit.
^[5] And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;
^[6] and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward to Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,
^[7] and gone down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.
^[8] From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.
^[9] And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim are in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;
^[10] and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute-a servant.
