διοτι ταδε λεγει κυριος και λημψομαι εγω εκ των επιλεκτων της κεδρου εκ κορυφης καρδιας αυτων αποκνιω και καταφυτευσω εγω επ ορος υψηλον και κρεμασω αυτον

All the trees of the field will know that I, Yahweh, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. “ ‘I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done it.’ ”

And all the trees H6086 of the field H7704 shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I the Lord H3068 have brought down H8213 (HiphPerf) the high H1364 tree, H6086 have exalted H1361 (HiphPerf) the low H8217 tree, H6086 have dried H3001 (HiphPerf) up the green H3892 tree, H6086 and have made the dry H3002 tree H6086 to flourish: H6524 (HiphPerf) I the Lord H3068 have spoken H1696 (PielPerf) and have done H6213 (QalPerf) it.

και γνωσονται παντα τα ξυλα του πεδιου διοτι εγω κυριος ο ταπεινων ξυλον υψηλον και υψων ξυλον ταπεινον και ξηραινων ξυλον χλωρον και αναθαλλων ξυλον ξηρον εγω κυριος λελαληκα και ποιησω

“As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “you shall not use this proverb any more in Israel.

“Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Is it to inquire of me that you have come? As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “I will not be inquired of by you.” ’

Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.

Moreover also I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands,

και εγω εξηρα την χειρα μου επ αυτους εν τη ερημω το παραπαν του μη εισαγαγειν αυτους εις την γην ην εδωκα αυτοις γην ρεουσαν γαλα και μελι κηριον εστιν παρα πασαν την γην

I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them.

εγω κυριος ο θεος υμων εν τοις προσταγμασιν μου πορευεσθε και τα δικαιωματα μου φυλασσεσθε και ποιειτε αυτα

Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.’

και τα σαββατα μου αγιαζετε και εστω εις σημειον ανα μεσον εμου και υμων του γινωσκειν διοτι εγω κυριος ο θεος υμων

Moreover I swore to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries,

και εξηρα την χειρα μου επ αυτους εν τη ερημω του διασκορπισαι αυτους εν τοις εθνεσιν και διασπειραι αυτους εν ταις χωραις

Moreover also I gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances in which they couldn’t live.

Wherefore I gave H5414 (QalPerf) them also statutes H2706 that were not good, H2896 and judgments H4941 whereby they should not live; H2421 (QalImpf)

και εγω εδωκα αυτοις προσταγματα ου καλα και δικαιωματα εν οις ου ζησονται εν αυτοις

I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused all that opens the womb to pass through the fire, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Yahweh.” ’

και μιανω αυτους εν τοις δομασιν αυτων εν τω διαπορευεσθαι με παν διανοιγον μητραν οπως αφανισω αυτους

When you offer your gifts, when you make your sons pass through the fire, do you pollute yourselves with all your idols to this day? Should I be inquired of by you, house of Israel? As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will not be inquired of by you!

For when ye offer H5375 (QalInf) your gifts, H4979 when ye make your sons H1121 to pass through H5674 (HiphInf) the fire, H784 ye pollute H2930 (NiphPtc) yourselves with all your idols, H1544 even unto this day: H3117 and shall I be enquired H1875 (NiphImpf) of by you, O house H1004 of Israel? και εν ταις απαρχαις των δοματων υμων εν τοις αφορισμοις υμεις μιαινεσθε εν πασιν τοις ενθυμημασιν υμων εως της σημερον ημερας και εγω αποκριθω υμιν οικος του ισραηλ ζω εγω λεγει κυριος ει αποκριθησομαι υμιν και ει αναβησεται επι το πνευμα υμων τουτο

As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “surely with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out, I will be king over you.

δια τουτο ζω εγω λεγει κυριος εν χειρι κραταια και εν βραχιονι υψηλω και εν θυμω κεχυμενω βασιλευσω εφ υμας

I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who disobey me. I will bring them out of the land where they live, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

και εκλεξω εξ υμων τους ασεβεις και τους αφεστηκοτας διοτι εκ της παροικεσιας αυτων εξαξω αυτους και εις την γην του ισραηλ ουκ εισελευσονται και επιγνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος
