υιε ανθρωπου ειπον δη προς τον οικον τον παραπικραινοντα ουκ επιστασθε τι ην ταυτα ειπον οταν ελθη βασιλευς βαβυλωνος επι ιερουσαλημ και λημψεται τον βασιλεα αυτης και τους αρχοντας αυτης και αξει αυτους προς εαυτον εις βαβυλωνα

All his fugitives in all his bands will fall by the sword, and those who remain will be scattered toward every wind. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it.’

εν παση παραταξει αυτου εν ρομφαια πεσουνται και τους καταλοιπους εις παντα ανεμον διασπερω και επιγνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος λελαληκα

All the trees of the field will know that I, Yahweh, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish. “ ‘I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done it.’ ”

και γνωσονται παντα τα ξυλα του πεδιου διοτι εγω κυριος ο ταπεινων ξυλον υψηλον και υψων ξυλον ταπεινον και ξηραινων ξυλον χλωρον και αναθαλλων ξυλον ξηρον εγω κυριος λελαληκα και ποιησω

I gave them my statutes and showed them my ordinances, which if a man does, he will live in them.

Ezekiel 20:11 Heb. made them to know

Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.

και μιανω αυτους εν τοις δομασιν αυτων εν τω διαπορευεσθαι με παν διανοιγον μητραν οπως αφανισω αυτους

I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who disobey me. I will bring them out of the land where they live, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

You will know that I am Yahweh when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country which I swore to give to your fathers.

και επιγνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος εν τω εισαγαγειν με υμας εις την γην του ισραηλ εις την γην εις ην ηρα την χειρα μου του δουναι αυτην τοις πατρασιν υμων

You will know that I am Yahweh, when I have dealt with you for my name’s sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, you house of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ ”

και επιγνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος εν τω ποιησαι με ουτως υμιν οπως το ονομα μου μη βεβηλωθη κατα τας οδους υμων τας κακας και κατα τα επιτηδευματα υμων τα διεφθαρμενα λεγει κυριος

All flesh will know that I, Yahweh, have drawn my sword out of its sheath. It will not return any more.” ’

Ezekiel 22:16 Or, shalt be prophaned

και κατακληρονομησω εν σοι κατ οφθαλμους των εθνων και γνωσεσθε διοτι εγω κυριος

As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.’ ”

Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths. So I am profaned among them.

Her daughters who are in the field will be slain with the sword. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’

All those who know you among the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.” ’ ”

They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh their God.” ’ ”

It will no longer be the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.” ’ ”

And it shall be no more the confidence H4009 of the house H1004 of Israel, H3478 which bringeth H2142 their iniquity H5771 to remembrance, H2142 (HiphPtc) when they shall look H6437 (QalInf) after H310 them: but they shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I am the Lord H136 God. H3069

εν τη ημερα εκεινη ανατελει κερας παντι τω οικω ισραηλ και σοι δωσω στομα ανεωγμενον εν μεσω αυτων και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος

They will know that I am Yahweh when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers are destroyed.

Ezekiel 30:8 Heb. broken

και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος οταν δω πυρ επ αιγυπτον και συντριβωσι παντες οι βοηθουντες αυτη

Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.” ’ ”

και ποιησω κριμα εν αιγυπτω και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος

και ενισχυσω τους βραχιονας βασιλεως βαβυλωνος οι δε βραχιονες φαραω πεσουνται και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος εν τω δουναι την ρομφαιαν μου εις χειρας βασιλεως βαβυλωνος και εκτενει αυτην επι γην αιγυπτου

I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’ ”

και διασπερω αιγυπτον εις τα εθνη και λικμησω αυτους εις τας χωρας και γνωσονται παντες οτι εγω ειμι κυριος

“I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

Ezekiel 32:9 Heb. provoke to anger, or grief

και παροργιω καρδιαν λαων πολλων ηνικα αν αγω αιχμαλωσιαν σου εις τα εθνη εις γην ην ουκ εγνως

“When I make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that of which it was full, when I strike all those who dwell therein, then they will know that I am Yahweh.

Ezekiel 32:15 Heb. desolate from the fullness thereof

οταν δω αιγυπτον εις απωλειαν και ερημωθη η γη συν τη πληρωσει αυτης οταν διασπειρω παντας τους κατοικουντας εν αυτη και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος

Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment because of all their abominations which they have committed.” ’

Then shall they know H3045 (QalPerf) that I am the Lord, H3068 when I have laid H5414 (QalInf) the land H776 most H4923 desolate H8077 because of all their abominations H8441 which they have committed. H6213 (QalPerf)

και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος και ποιησω την γην αυτων ερημον και ερημωθησεται δια παντα τα βδελυγματα αυτων α εποιησαν

“When this comes to pass—behold, it comes—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”

And when this cometh to pass, H935 (QalInf) (lo, it will come,) H935 (QalActPtc) then shall they know H3045 (QalPerf) that a prophet H5030 hath been among H8432 them.

και ηνικα αν ελθη ερουσιν ιδου ηκει και γνωσονται οτι προφητης ην εν μεσω αυτων

The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.

και τα ξυλα τα εν τω πεδιω δωσει τον καρπον αυτων και η γη δωσει την ισχυν αυτης και κατοικησουσιν επι της γης αυτων εν ελπιδι ειρηνης και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος εν τω συντριψαι με τον ζυγον αυτων και εξελουμαι αυτους εκ χειρος των καταδουλωσαμενων αυτους

They will know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

Thus shall they know H3045 (QalPerf) that I the Lord H3068 their God H430 am with them, and that they, even the house H1004 of Israel, H3478 are my people, H5971 saith H5002 (QalPasPtc) the Lord H136 God. H3069

και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος ο θεος αυτων και αυτοι λαος μου οικος ισραηλ λεγει κυριος

I will lay your cities waste, and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

I will lay H7760 (QalImpf) thy cities H5892 waste, H2723 and thou shalt be desolate, H8077 and thou shalt know H3045 (QalPerf) that I am the Lord. H3068

και ταις πολεσιν σου ερημιαν ποιησω και συ ερημος εση και γνωση οτι εγω ειμι κυριος

I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

I will make H5414 (QalImpf) thee perpetual H5769 desolations, H8077 and thy cities H5892 shall not return: H7725 (QalImpf) (Qere) H3427 (QalImpf) and ye shall know H3045 (QalPerf) that I am the Lord. H3068
