“ ‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.

“ ‘The meat that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the meat, everyone who is clean may eat it;

When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the meat of the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to Yahweh, that soul shall be cut off from his people.’ ”

και ψυχη η αν αψηται παντος πραγματος ακαθαρτου η απο ακαθαρσιας ανθρωπου η των τετραποδων των ακαθαρτων η παντος βδελυγματος ακαθαρτου και φαγη απο των κρεων της θυσιας του σωτηριου ο εστιν κυριου απολειται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ του λαου αυτης

You are to make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean.

και τον υν οτι διχηλει οπλην τουτο και ονυχιζει ονυχας οπλης και τουτο ουκ αναγει μηρυκισμον ακαθαρτον τουτο υμιν

You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses. They are unclean to you.

Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.

These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.

But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.

to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.’ ”

διαστειλαι ανα μεσον των ακαθαρτων και ανα μεσον των καθαρων και ανα μεσον των ζωογονουντων τα εσθιομενα και ανα μεσον των ζωογονουντων τα μη εσθιομενα

it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for he is already unclean.

λεπρα παλαιουμενη εστιν εν τω δερματι του χρωτος εστιν και μιανει αυτον ο ιερευς και αφοριει αυτον οτι ακαθαρτος εστιν

The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.

then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

και οψεται ο ιερευς και ιδου διακεχυται το θραυσμα εν τω δερματι ουκ επισκεψεται ο ιερευς περι της τριχος της ξανθης οτι ακαθαρτος εστιν

he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.

“The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

All the days in which the plague is in him he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. His dwelling shall be outside of the camp.

He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive mildew. It is unclean.

και οψεται ο ιερευς την αφην τη ημερα τη εβδομη εαν δε διαχεηται η αφη εν τω ιματιω η εν τω στημονι η εν τη κροκη η εν τω δερματι κατα παντα οσα αν ποιηθη δερματα εν τη εργασια λεπρα εμμονος εστιν η αφη ακαθαρτος εστιν

Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.

And the priest H3548 shall look H7200 (QalPerf) on the plague, H5061 after H310 that it is washed: H3526 (HotpInf) and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 have not changed H2015 (QalPerf) his colour, H5869 and the plague H5061 be not spread; H6581 (QalPerf) it [is] unclean; H2931 thou shalt burn H8313 (QalImpf) it in the fire; H784 it [is] fret H6356 inward, [whether] it [be] bare within H7146 or without. H1372

then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city.

Then the priest H3548 shall command H6680 (PielPerf) that they take H2502 (PielPerf) away the stones H68 in which H2004 the plague H5061 [is], and they shall cast H7993 (HiphPerf) H853 them into an unclean H2931 place H4725 without H2351 the city: H5892

και προσταξει ο ιερευς και εξελουσιν τους λιθους εν οις εστιν η αφη και εκβαλουσιν αυτους εξω της πολεως εις τοπον ακαθαρτον

He shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over. They shall pour out the mortar that they scraped off outside of the city into an unclean place.

και αποξυσουσιν την οικιαν εσωθεν κυκλω και εκχεουσιν τον χουν εξω της πολεως εις τοπον ακαθαρτον

then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.

Then the priest H3548 shall come H935 (QalPerf) and look, H7200 (QalPerf) and, behold, [if] the plague H5061 be spread H6581 (QalPerf) in the house, H1004 it [is] a fretting H3992 (HiphPtc) leprosy H6883 in the house: H1004 it [is] unclean. H2931

και εισελευσεται ο ιερευς και οψεται ει διακεχυται η αφη εν τη οικια λεπρα εμμονος εστιν εν τη οικια ακαθαρτος εστιν

He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.

“ ‘If a woman has a discharge of her blood many days not in the time of her period, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her period, all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness shall be as in the days of her period. She is unclean.

And if a woman H802 have H2100 (QalImpf) an issue H2101 of her blood H1818 many H7227 days H3117 out H3808 of the time H6256 of her separation, H5079 or if it run H2100 (QalImpf) beyond the time H5921 of her separation; H5079 all the days H3117 of the issue H2101 of her uncleanness H2932 shall be as the days H3117 of her separation: H5079 she [shall be] unclean. και γυνη εαν ρεη ρυσει αιματος ημερας πλειους ουκ εν καιρω της αφεδρου αυτης εαν και ρεη μετα την αφεδρον αυτης πασαι αι ημεραι ρυσεως ακαθαρσιας αυτης καθαπερ αι ημεραι της αφεδρου ακαθαρτος εσται

Every bed she lies on all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her period. Everything she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her period.

και τη αιμορροουση εν τη αφεδρω αυτης και ο γονορρυης εν τη ρυσει αυτου τω αρσενι η τη θηλεια και τω ανδρι ος αν κοιμηθη μετα αποκαθημενης

“ ‘You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean. You shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.

“ ‘Whoever of the offspring of Aaron is a leper or has a discharge shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man who has a seminal emission,

If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to Yahweh, then he shall set the animal before the priest;

And if [it be] any unclean H2931 beast, H929 of which they do not offer H7126 (HiphImpf) a sacrifice H7133 unto the Lord, H3068 then he shall present H5975 (HiphPerf) the beast H929 before H6440 the priest: H3548

εαν δε παν κτηνος ακαθαρτον αφ ων ου προσφερεται απ αυτων δωρον τω κυριω στησει το κτηνος εναντι του ιερεως

If it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back according to your valuation, and shall add to it the fifth part of it; or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.

And if [it be] of an unclean H2931 beast, H929 then he shall redeem H6299 (QalPerf) [it] according to thine estimation, H6187 and shall add H3254 (QalPerf) a fifth H2549 [part] of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, H1350 (NiphImpf) then it shall be sold H4376 (NiphPerf) according to thy estimation. “Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever is unclean by a corpse.

προσταξον τοις υιοις ισραηλ και εξαποστειλατωσαν εκ της παρεμβολης παντα λεπρον και παντα γονορρυη και παντα ακαθαρτον επι ψυχη

There were certain men who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

And there were certain men, H582 who were defiled H2931 by the dead body H5315 of a man, H120 that they could H3201 (QalPerf) not keep H6213 (QalInf) the passover H6453 on that day: H3117 and they came H7126 (QalImpf) before H6440 Moses H4872 and before H6440 Aaron H175 on that day: H3117

και παρεγενοντο οι ανδρες οι ησαν ακαθαρτοι επι ψυχη ανθρωπου και ουκ ηδυναντο ποιησαι το πασχα εν τη ημερα εκεινη και προσηλθον εναντιον μωυση και ααρων εν εκεινη τη ημερα

Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”

And those H1992 men H582 said H559 (QalImpf) unto him, We [are] defiled H2931 by the dead body H5315 of a man: H120 wherefore are we kept back, H1639 (NiphImpf) that we may not offer H7126 (HiphInf) an offering H7133 of the Lord H3068 in his appointed season H4150 among H8432 the children H1121 of Israel? H3478

και ειπαν οι ανδρες εκεινοι προς αυτον ημεις ακαθαρτοι επι ψυχη ανθρωπου μη ουν υστερησωμεν προσενεγκαι το δωρον κυριω κατα καιρον αυτου εν μεσω υιων ισραηλ

“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.

Speak H1696 (PielImpv) unto the children H1121 of Israel, H3478 saying, H559 (QalInf) If any H376 man H376 of you or of your posterity H1755 shall be unclean H2931 by reason of a dead body, H5315 or [be] in a journey H1870 afar off, H7350 yet he shall keep H6213 (QalPerf) the passover H6453 unto the Lord. λαλησον τοις υιοις ισραηλ λεγων ανθρωπος ανθρωπος ος εαν γενηται ακαθαρτος επι ψυχη ανθρωπου η εν οδω μακραν υμιν η εν ταις γενεαις υμων και ποιησει το πασχα κυριω

Everything that opens the womb, of all flesh which they offer to Yahweh, both of man and animal, shall be yours. Nevertheless, you shall surely redeem the firstborn of man, and you shall redeem the firstborn of unclean animals.

Every thing that openeth H6363 the matrix H7358 in all flesh, H1320 which they bring H7126 (HiphImpf) unto the Lord, H3068 [whether it be] of men H120 or beasts, H929 shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn H1060 of man H120 shalt thou surely H6299 (QalInf) redeem, H6299 (QalImpf) and the firstling H1060 of unclean H2931 beasts H929 shalt thou redeem. H6299 (QalImpf)

και παν διανοιγον μητραν απο πασης σαρκος α προσφερουσιν κυριω απο ανθρωπου εως κτηνους σοι εσται αλλ η λυτροις λυτρωθησεται τα πρωτοτοκα των ανθρωπων και τα πρωτοτοκα των κτηνων των ακαθαρτων λυτρωση

Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles Yahweh’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.

Whosoever toucheth H5060 (QalActPtc) the dead H4191 (QalPtc) body H5315 of any man H120 that is dead, H4191 (QalImpf) and purifieth H2398 (HithImpf) not himself, defileth H2930 (PielPerf) the tabernacle H4908 of the Lord; H3068 and that soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from Israel: H3478 because the water H4325 of separation H5079 was not sprinkled H2236 (PualPerf) upon him, he shall be unclean; H2931 his uncleanness H2932 [is] yet upon him.

πας ο απτομενος του τεθνηκοτος απο ψυχης ανθρωπου εαν αποθανη και μη αφαγνισθη την σκηνην κυριου εμιανεν εκτριβησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εξ ισραηλ οτι υδωρ ραντισμου ου περιερραντισθη επ αυτον ακαθαρτος εστιν ετι η ακαθαρσια αυτου εν αυτω εστιν

Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.

And every open H6605 (QalPasPtc) vessel, H3627 which hath no covering H6781 bound H6616 upon it, [is] unclean. H2931

και παν σκευος ανεωγμενον οσα ουχι δεσμον καταδεδεται επ αυτω ακαθαρτα εστιν

“For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.

And for an unclean H2931 [person] they shall take H3947 (QalPerf) of the ashes H6083 of the burnt heifer H8316 of purification for sin, H2403 and running H2416 water H4325 shall be put H5414 (QalPerf) thereto in a vessel: H3627

και λημψονται τω ακαθαρτω απο της σποδιας της κατακεκαυμενης του αγνισμου και εκχεουσιν επ αυτην υδωρ ζων εις σκευος

The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.

And the clean H2889 [person] shall sprinkle H5137 (HiphPerf) upon the unclean H2931 on the third H7992 day, H3117 and on the seventh H7637 day: H3117 and on the seventh H7637 day H3117 he shall purify H2398 (PielPerf) himself, and wash H3526 (PielPerf) his clothes, H899 and bathe H7364 (QalPerf) himself in water, H4325 and shall be clean H2891 (QalPerf) at even. H6153

και περιρρανει ο καθαρος επι τον ακαθαρτον εν τη ημερα τη τριτη και εν τη ημερα τη εβδομη και αφαγνισθησεται τη ημερα τη εβδομη και πλυνει τα ιματια αυτου και λουσεται υδατι και ακαθαρτος εσται εως εσπερας

But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.

But the man H376 that shall be unclean, H2930 (QalImpf) and shall not purify H2398 (HithImpf) himself, that soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 (NiphPerf) from among H8432 the congregation, H6951 because he hath defiled H2930 (PielPerf) the sanctuary H4720 of the Lord: H3068 the water H4325 of separation H5079 hath not been sprinkled H2236 (PualPerf) upon him; he [is] unclean. H2931

και ανθρωπος ος εαν μιανθη και μη αφαγνισθη εξολεθρευθησεται η ψυχη εκεινη εκ μεσου της συναγωγης οτι τα αγια κυριου εμιανεν οτι υδωρ ραντισμου ου περιερραντισθη επ αυτον ακαθαρτος εστιν

“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”

And whatsoever the unclean H2931 [person] toucheth H5060 (QalImpf) shall be unclean; H2930 (QalImpf) and the soul H5315 that toucheth H5060 (QalActPtc) [it] shall be unclean H2930 (QalImpf) until even. H6153

και παντος ου εαν αψηται αυτου ο ακαθαρτος ακαθαρτον εσται και η ψυχη η απτομενη ακαθαρτος εσται εως εσπερας

Yet you may kill and eat meat within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to Yahweh your God’s blessing which he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.

Notwithstanding thou mayest kill H2076 (QalImpf) and eat H398 (QalPerf) flesh H1320 in all thy gates, H8179 whatsoever thy soul H5315 lusteth after, H185 according to the blessing H1293 of the Lord H3068 thy God H430 which he hath given H5414 (QalPerf) thee: the unclean H2931 and the clean H2889 may eat H398 (QalImpf) thereof, as of the roebuck, H6643 and as of the hart. H354

αλλ η εν παση επιθυμια σου θυσεις και φαγη κρεα κατα την ευλογιαν κυριου του θεου σου ην εδωκεν σοι εν παση πολει ο ακαθαρτος εν σοι και ο καθαρος επι το αυτο φαγεται αυτο ως δορκαδα η ελαφον
