You shall make the fiftieth year holy, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you; and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family.

That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. In it you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself, nor gather from the undressed vines.

αφεσεως σημασια αυτη το ετος το πεντηκοστον ενιαυτος εσται υμιν ου σπερειτε ουδε αμησετε τα αυτοματα αναβαινοντα αυτης και ου τρυγησετε τα ηγιασμενα αυτης

For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat of its increase out of the field.

εν τω ετει της αφεσεως σημασια αυτης επανελευσεται εκαστος εις την κτησιν αυτου

According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor. According to the number of years of the crops he shall sell to you.

according to the number H4557 of years H8141 after H310 the jubile H3104 thou shalt buy H7069 (QalImpf) of thy neighbour, H5997 and according unto the number H4557 of years H8141 of the fruits H8393 he shall sell H4376 (QalImpf) unto thee:

κατα αριθμον ετων μετα την σημασιαν κτηση παρα του πλησιον κατα αριθμον ενιαυτων γενηματων αποδωσεται σοι

But if he isn’t able to get it back for himself, then what he has sold shall remain in the hand of him who has bought it until the Year of Jubilee. In the Jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his property.

If it isn’t redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not be released in the Jubilee.

εαν δε μη λυτρωθη εως αν πληρωθη αυτης ενιαυτος ολος κυρωθησεται η οικια η ουσα εν πολει τη εχουση τειχος βεβαιως τω κτησαμενω αυτην εις τας γενεας αυτου και ουκ εξελευσεται εν τη αφεσει

But the houses of the villages which have no wall around them shall be accounted for with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the Jubilee.

Leviticus 25:31 Heb. redemption belongeth unto it

αι δε οικιαι αι εν επαυλεσιν αις ουκ εστιν εν αυταις τειχος κυκλω προς τον αγρον της γης λογισθητωσαν λυτρωται δια παντος εσονται και εν τη αφεσει εξελευσονται

The Levites may redeem the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, and it shall be released in the Jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

Leviticus 25:33 Or, one of the Levites redeem them

και ος αν λυτρωσαμενος παρα των λευιτων και εξελευσεται η διαπρασις αυτων οικιων πολεως κατασχεσεως αυτων εν τη αφεσει οτι οικιαι των πολεων των λευιτων κατασχεσις αυτων εν μεσω υιων ισραηλ

As a hired servant, and as a temporary resident, he shall be with you; he shall serve with you until the Year of Jubilee.

και συλλογιειται προς τον κεκτημενον αυτον απο του ετους ου απεδοτο εαυτον αυτω εως του ενιαυτου της αφεσεως και εσται το αργυριον της πρασεως αυτου ως μισθιου ετος εξ ετους εσται μετ αυτου

If there remain but a few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according to his years of service he shall give back the price of his redemption.

And if there remain H7604 (NiphPerf) but few H4592 years H8141 unto the year H8141 of jubile, H3104 then he shall count H2803 (PielPerf) with him, and according H6310 unto his years H8141 shall he give him again H7725 (HiphImpf) the price of his redemption. H1353

εαν δε ολιγον καταλειφθη απο των ετων εις τον ενιαυτον της αφεσεως και συλλογιειται αυτω κατα τα ετη αυτου και αποδωσει τα λυτρα αυτου

If he isn’t redeemed by these means, then he shall be released in the Year of Jubilee: he and his children with him.

And if he be not redeemed H1350 (NiphImpf) in these years,^§ then he shall go out H3318 (QalPerf) in the year H8141 of jubile, H3104 both he, and his children H1121 with him.

Leviticus 25:54 Or, by these means

εαν δε μη λυτρωται κατα ταυτα εξελευσεται εν τω ετει της αφεσεως αυτος και τα παιδια αυτου μετ αυτου

If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.

If he sanctify H6942 (HiphImpf) his field H7704 from the year H8141 of jubile, H3104 according to thy estimation H6187 it shall stand. H6965 (QalImpf)

εαν δε απο του ενιαυτου της αφεσεως αγιαση τον αγρον αυτου κατα την τιμην αυτου στησεται

But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.

εαν δε εσχατον μετα την αφεσιν αγιαση τον αγρον αυτου προσλογιειται αυτω ο ιερευς το αργυριον επι τα ετη τα επιλοιπα εως εις τον ενιαυτον της αφεσεως και ανθυφαιρεθησεται απο της συντιμησεως αυτου

but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to Yahweh, as a devoted field. It shall be owned by the priests.

then the priest shall reckon to him the worth of your valuation up to the Year of Jubilee; and he shall give your valuation on that day, as a holy thing to Yahweh.

In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.

Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

Joshua 6:5 Heb. under it

και εσται ως αν σαλπισητε τη σαλπιγγι ανακραγετω πας ο λαος αμα και ανακραγοντων αυτων πεσειται αυτοματα τα τειχη της πολεως και εισελευσεται πας ο λαος ορμησας εκαστος κατα προσωπον εις την πολιν

Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before Yahweh’s ark.”

It was so, that when Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before Yahweh advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of Yahweh’s covenant followed them.

The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of Yahweh’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after Yahweh’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.

και οι επτα ιερεις οι φεροντες τας σαλπιγγας τας επτα προεπορευοντο εναντιον κυριου και μετα ταυτα εισεπορευοντο οι μαχιμοι και ο λοιπος οχλος οπισθε της κιβωτου της διαθηκης κυριου και οι ιερεις εσαλπισαν ταις σαλπιγξι και ο λοιπος οχλος απας περιεκυκλωσε την πολιν εγγυθεν
