Exodus 19 (WEBP)
[1] In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that same day they came into the wilderness of Sinai.
[2] When they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Israel encamped before the mountain.
[3] Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, “This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
[4] ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself.
[5] Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;
[6] and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”
[7] Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which Yahweh commanded him.
[8] All the people answered together, and said, “All that Yahweh has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.
[9] Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” Moses told the words of the people to Yahweh.
[10] Yahweh said to Moses, “Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,
[11] and be ready for the third day; for on the third day Yahweh will come down in the sight of all the people on Mount Sinai.
[12] You shall set bounds to the people all around, saying, ‘Be careful that you don’t go up onto the mountain, or touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be surely put to death.
[13] No hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through; whether it is animal or man, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mountain.”
[14] Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
[15] He said to the people, “Be ready by the third day. Don’t have sexual relations with a woman.”
[16] On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.
[17] Moses led the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the lower part of the mountain.
[18] All of Mount Sinai smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.
[19] When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
[20] Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
[21] Yahweh said to Moses, “Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to Yahweh to gaze, and many of them perish.
[22] Let the priests also, who come near to Yahweh, sanctify themselves, lest Yahweh break out on them.”
[23] Moses said to Yahweh, “The people can’t come up to Mount Sinai, for you warned us, saying, ‘Set bounds around the mountain, and sanctify it.’ ”
[24] Yahweh said to him, “Go down! You shall bring Aaron up with you, but don’t let the priests and the people break through to come up to Yahweh, lest he break out against them.”
[25] So Moses went down to the people, and told them.

Exodus 19 (KJVS)
[1] In the third H7992 month H2320, when the children H1121 of Israel H3478 were gone forth H3318 (8800) out of the land H776 of Egypt H4714, the same day H3117 came H935 (8804) they [into] the wilderness H4057 of Sinai H5514.
[2] For they were departed H5265 (8799) from Rephidim H7508, and were come H935 (8799) [to] the desert H4057 of Sinai H5514, and had pitched H2583 (8799) in the wilderness H4057; and there Israel H3478 camped H2583 (8799) before the mount H2022.
[3] And Moses H4872 went up H5927 (8804) unto God H430, and the LORD H3068 called H7121 (8799) unto him out of the mountain H2022, saying H559 (8800), Thus shalt thou say H559 (8799) to the house H1004 of Jacob H3290, and tell H5046 (8686) the children H1121 of Israel H3478;
[4] Ye have seen H7200 (8804) what I did H6213 (8804) unto the Egyptians H4714, and [how] I bare H5375 (8799) you on eagles H5404’ wings H3671, and brought H935 (8686) you unto myself.
[5] Now therefore, if ye will obey H8085 (8799) my voice H6963 indeed H8085 (8800), and keep H8104 (8804) my covenant H1285, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure H5459 unto me above all people H5971: for all the earth H776 [is] mine:
[6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom H4467 of priests H3548, and an holy H6918 nation H1471. These [are] the words H1697 which thou shalt speak H1696 (8762) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478.
[7] And Moses H4872 came H935 (8799) and called H7121 (8799) for the elders H2205 of the people H5971, and laid H7760 (8799) before their faces H6440 all these words H1697 which the LORD H3068 commanded H6680 (8765) him.
[8] And all the people H5971 answered H6030 (8799) together H3162, and said H559 (8799), All that the LORD H3068 hath spoken H1696 (8765) we will do H6213 (8799). And Moses H4872 returned H7725 (8686) the words H1697 of the people H5971 unto the LORD H3068.
[9] And the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799) unto Moses H4872, Lo, I come H935 (8802) unto thee in a thick H5645 cloud H6051, that the people H5971 may hear H8085 (8799) when I speak H1696 (8763) with thee, and believe H539 (8686) thee for ever H5769. And Moses H4872 told H5046 (8686) the words H1697 of the people H5971 unto the LORD H3068.
[10] And the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799) unto Moses H4872, Go H3212 (8798) unto the people H5971, and sanctify H6942 (8765) them to day H3117 and to morrow H4279, and let them wash H3526 (8765) their clothes H8071,
[11] And be ready H3559 (8737) against the third H7992 day H3117: for the third H7992 day H3117 the LORD H3068 will come down H3381 (8799) in the sight H5869 of all the people H5971 upon mount H2022 Sinai H5514.
[12] And thou shalt set bounds H1379 (8689) unto the people H5971 round about H5439, saying H559 (8800), Take heed H8104 (8734) to yourselves, [that ye] go [not] up H5927 (8800) into the mount H2022, or touch H5060 (8800) the border H7097 of it: whosoever toucheth H5060 (8802) the mount H2022 shall be surely H4191 (8800) put to death H4191 (8714):
[13] There shall not an hand H3027 touch H5060 (8799) it, but he shall surely H5619 (8800) be stoned H5619 (8735), or H176 shot H3384 (8735) through H3384 (8800); whether [it be] beast H929 or H518 man H376, it shall not live H2421 (8799): when the trumpet H3104 soundeth long H4900 (8800), they shall come up H5927 (8799) to the mount H2022.
[14] And Moses H4872 went down H3381 (8799) from the mount H2022 unto the people H5971, and sanctified H6942 (8762) the people H5971; and they washed H3526 (8762) their clothes H8071.
[15] And he said H559 (8799) unto the people H5971, Be H1961 (8798) ready H3559 (8737) against the third H7969 day H3117: come H5066 (8799) not at [your] wives H802.
[16] And it came to pass on the third H7992 day H3117 in the morning H1242, that there were thunders H6963 and lightnings H1300, and a thick H3515 cloud H6051 upon the mount H2022, and the voice H6963 of the trumpet H7782 exceeding H3966 loud H2389; so that all the people H5971 that [was] in the camp H4264 trembled H2729 (8799).
[17] And Moses H4872 brought forth H3318 (8686) the people H5971 out of the camp H4264 to meet H7125 (8800) with God H430; and they stood H3320 (8691) at the nether H8482 part of the mount H2022.
[18] And mount H2022 Sinai H5514 was altogether on a smoke H6225 (8804), because H6440 H834 the LORD H3068 descended H3381 (8804) upon it in fire H784: and the smoke H6227 thereof ascended H5927 (8799) as the smoke H6227 of a furnace H3536, and the whole mount H2022 quaked H2729 (8799) greatly H3966.
[19] And when the voice H6963 of the trumpet H7782 sounded H6963 long H1980 (8802), and waxed louder H2390 and louder H3966, Moses H4872 spake H1696 (8762), and God H430 answered H6030 (8799) him by a voice H6963.
[20] And the LORD H3068 came down H3381 (8799) upon mount H2022 Sinai H5514, on the top H7218 of the mount H2022: and the LORD H3068 called H7121 (8799) Moses H4872 [up] to H413 the top H7218 of the mount H2022; and Moses H4872 went up H5927 (8799).
[21] And the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799) unto Moses H4872, Go down H3381 (8798), charge H5749 (8685) the people H5971, lest they break through H2040 (8799) unto the LORD H3068 to gaze H7200 (8800), and many H7227 of them perish H5307 (8804).
[22] And let the priests H3548 also, which come near H5066 (8737) to the LORD H3068, sanctify H6942 (8691) themselves, lest the LORD H3068 break forth H6555 (8799) upon them.
[23] And Moses H4872 said H559 (8799) unto the LORD H3068, The people H5971 cannot H3201 (8799) come up H5927 (8800) to mount H2022 Sinai H5514: for thou chargedst H5749 (8689) us, saying H559 (8800), Set bounds H1379 (8685) about the mount H2022, and sanctify H6942 (8765) it.
[24] And the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799) unto him, Away H3212 (8798), get thee down H3381 (8798), and thou shalt come up H5927 (8804), thou, and Aaron H175 with thee: but let not the priests H3548 and the people H5971 break through H2040 (8799) to come up H5927 (8800) unto the LORD H3068, lest he break forth H6555 (8799) upon them.
[25] So Moses H4872 went down H3381 (8799) unto the people H5971, and spake H559 (8799) unto them.
Young’s Literal Translation
Exodus 19 (YLT)
[1] In the third month of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in this day they have come into the wilderness of Sinai,
[2] and they journey from Rephidim, and enter the wilderness of Sinai, and encamp in the wilderness; and Israel encampeth there before the mount.
[3] And Moses hath gone up unto God, and Jehovah calleth unto him out of the mount, saying, ‘Thus dost thou say to the house of Jacob, and declare to the sons of Israel,
[4] Ye-ye have seen that which I have done to the Egyptians, and I bear you on eagles’ wings, and bring you in unto Myself.
[5] ‘And now, if ye really hearken to My voice, then ye have kept My covenant, and been to Me a peculiar treasure more than all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;
[6] and ye-ye are to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation: these are the words which thou dost speak unto the sons of Israel.’
[7] And Moses cometh, and calleth for the elders of the people, and setteth before them all these words which Jehovah hath commanded him;
[8] and all the people answer together and say, ‘All that Jehovah hath spoken we do;’ and Moses returneth the words of the people unto Jehovah.
[9] And Jehovah saith unto Moses, ‘Lo, I am coming unto thee in the thickness of the cloud, so that the people hear in My speaking with thee, and also believe in thee to the age;’ and Moses declareth the words of the people unto Jehovah.
[10] And Jehovah saith unto Moses, ‘Go unto the people; and thou hast sanctified them to-day and to-morrow, and they have washed their garments,
[11] and have been prepared for the third day; for on the third day doth Jehovah come down before the eyes of all the people, on mount Sinai.
[12] ‘And thou hast made a border for the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, going up into the mount, or coming against its extremity; whoever is coming against the mount is certainly put to death;
[13] a hand cometh not against him, for he is certainly stoned or shot through, whether beast or man it liveth not; in the drawing out of the jubilee cornet they go up into the mount.’
[14] And Moses cometh down from the mount unto the people, and sanctifieth the people, and they wash their garments;
[15] and he saith unto the people, ‘Be ye prepared for the third day, come not nigh unto a woman.’
[16] And it cometh to pass, on the third day, while it is morning, that there are voices, and lightnings, and a heavy cloud, on the mount, and the sound of a trumpet very strong; and all the people who are in the camp do tremble.
[17] And Moses bringeth out the people to meet God from the camp, and they station themselves at the lower part of the mount,
[18] and mount Sinai is wholly a smoke from the presence of Jehovah, who hath come down on it in fire, and its smoke goeth up as smoke of the furnace, and the whole mount trembleth exceedingly;
[19] and the sound of the trumpet is going on, and very strong; Moses speaketh, and God doth answer him with a voice.
[20] And Jehovah cometh down on mount Sinai, unto the top of the mount, and Jehovah calleth for Moses unto the top of the mount, and Moses goeth up.
[21] And Jehovah saith unto Moses, ‘Go down, protest to the people, lest they break through unto Jehovah to see, and many of them have fallen;
[22] and also the priests who are coming nigh unto Jehovah do sanctify themselves, lest Jehovah break forth on them.’
[23] And Moses saith unto Jehovah, ‘The people is unable to come up unto mount Sinai, for Thou-Thou hast protested to us, saying, Make a border for the mount, then thou hast sanctified it.’
[24] And Jehovah saith unto him, ‘Go, descend, then thou hast come up, thou, and Aaron with thee; and the priests and the people do not break through, to come up unto Jehovah, lest He break forth upon them.’
[25] And Moses goeth down unto the people, and saith unto them:-
