Exodus 3 (WEBP)

[1] Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.
[2] Yahweh’s° angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
[3] Moses said, “I will go now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”
[4] When Yahweh saw that he came over to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Here I am.”
[5] He said, “Don’t come close. Take off your sandals, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.”
[6] Moreover he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.
[7] Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.
[8] I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
[9] Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.
[10] Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”
[11] Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
[12] He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”
[13] Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”
[14] God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
[15] God said moreover to Moses, “You shall tell the children of Israel this, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.
[16] Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and tell them, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.
[17] I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’
[18] They will listen to your voice. You shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.’
[19] I know that the king of Egypt won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.
[20] I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do among them, and after that he will let you go.
[21] I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and it will happen that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.
[22] But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing. You shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians.”

Exodus 3:2 “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations.

Exodus 3 (KJVS)

[1] Now Moses H4872 kept H1961 (8804) H7462 (8802) the flock H6629 of Jethro H3503 his father in law H2859 (8802), the priest H3548 of Midian H4080: and he led H5090 (8799) the flock H6629 to the backside H310 of the desert H4057, and came H935 (8799) to the mountain H2022 of God H430, [even] to Horeb H2722.
[2] And the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 appeared H7200 (8735) unto him in a flame H3827 of fire H784 out of the midst H8432 of a bush H5572: and he looked H7200 (8799), and, behold, the bush H5572 burned H1197 (8802) with fire H784, and the bush H5572 [was] not consumed H398 (8794).
[3] And Moses H4872 said H559 (8799), I will now turn aside H5493 (8799), and see H7200 (8799) this great H1419 sight H4758, why H4069 the bush H5572 is not burnt H1197 (8799).
[4] And when the LORD H3068 saw H7200 (8799) that he turned aside H5493 (8804) to see H7200 (8800), God H430 called H7121 (8799) unto him out of the midst H8432 of the bush H5572, and said H559 (8799), Moses H4872, Moses H4872. And he said H559 (8799), Here [am] I.
[5] And he said H559 (8799), Draw not nigh H7126 (8799) hither H1988: put off H5394 (8798) thy shoes H5275 from off thy feet H7272, for the place H4725 whereon H834 thou standest H5975 (8802) [is] holy H6944 ground H127.
[6] Moreover he said H559 (8799), I [am] the God H430 of thy father H1, the God H430 of Abraham H85, the God H430 of Isaac H3327, and the God H430 of Jacob H3290. And Moses H4872 hid H5641 (8686) his face H6440; for he was afraid H3372 (8804) to look H5027 (8687) upon God H430.
[7] And the LORD H3068 said H559 (8799), I have surely H7200 (8800) seen H7200 (8804) the affliction H6040 of my people H5971 which [are] in Egypt H4714, and have heard H8085 (8804) their cry H6818 by reason H6440 of their taskmasters H5065 (8802); for I know H3045 (8804) their sorrows H4341;
[8] And I am come down H3381 (8799) to deliver H5337 (8687) them out of the hand H3027 of the Egyptians H4714, and to bring H5927 (8687) them up out of that land H776 unto a good H2896 land H776 and a large H7342, unto a land H776 flowing H2100 (8802) with milk H2461 and honey H1706; unto the place H4725 of the Canaanites H3669, and the Hittites H2850, and the Amorites H567, and the Perizzites H6522, and the Hivites H2340, and the Jebusites H2983.
[9] Now therefore, behold, the cry H6818 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 is come H935 (8804) unto me: and I have also seen H7200 (8804) the oppression H3906 wherewith the Egyptians H4714 oppress H3905 (8801) them.
[10] Come H3212 (8798) now therefore, and I will send H7971 (8799) thee unto Pharaoh H6547, that thou mayest bring forth H3318 (8685) my people H5971 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 out of Egypt H4714.
[11] And Moses H4872 said H559 (8799) unto God H430, Who [am] I, that I should go H3212 (8799) unto Pharaoh H6547, and that I should bring forth H3318 (8686) the children H1121 of Israel H3478 out of Egypt H4714?
[12] And he said H559 (8799), Certainly I will be with thee; and this [shall be] a token H226 unto thee, that H3588 I have sent H7971 (8804) thee: When thou hast brought forth H3318 (8687) the people H5971 out of Egypt H4714, ye shall serve H5647 (8799) God H430 upon this mountain H2022.
[13] And Moses H4872 said H559 (8799) unto God H430, Behold, [when] I come H935 (8802) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478, and shall say H559 (8804) unto them, The God H430 of your fathers H1 hath sent H7971 (8804) me unto you; and they shall say H559 (8804) to me, What [is] his name H8034? what shall I say H559 (8799) unto them?
[14] And God H430 said H559 (8799) unto Moses H4872, I AM H1961 (8799) THAT I AM H1961 (8799): and he said H559 (8799), Thus shalt thou say H559 (8799) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478, I AM hath sent H7971 (8804) me unto you.
[15] And God H430 said H559 (8799) moreover H5750 unto Moses H4872, Thus shalt thou say H559 (8799) unto the children H1121 of Israel H3478, The LORD H3068 God H430 of your fathers H1, the God H430 of Abraham H85, the God H430 of Isaac H3327, and the God H430 of Jacob H3290, hath sent H7971 (8804) me unto you: this [is] my name H8034 for ever H5769, and this [is] my memorial H2143 unto all H1755 generations H1755.
[16] Go H3212 (8798), and gather H622 the elders H2205 of Israel H3478 together H622 (8804), and say H559 (8804) unto them, The LORD H3068 God H430 of your fathers H1, the God H430 of Abraham H85, of Isaac H3327, and of Jacob H3290, appeared H7200 (8738) unto me, saying H559 (8800), I have surely H6485 (8800) visited H6485 (8804) you, and [seen] that which is done H6213 (8803) to you in Egypt H4714:
[17] And I have said H559 (8799), I will bring H5927 (8686) you up out of the affliction H6040 of Egypt H4714 unto the land H776 of the Canaanites H3669, and the Hittites H2850, and the Amorites H567, and the Perizzites H6522, and the Hivites H2340, and the Jebusites H2983, unto a land H776 flowing H2100 (8802) with milk H2461 and honey H1706.
[18] And they shall hearken H8085 (8804) to thy voice H6963: and thou shalt come H935 (8804), thou and the elders H2205 of Israel H3478, unto the king H4428 of Egypt H4714, and ye shall say H559 (8804) unto him, The LORD H3068 God H430 of the Hebrews H5680 hath met H7136 (8738) with us: and now let us go H3212 (8799), we beseech thee, three H7969 days H3117’ journey H1870 into the wilderness H4057, that we may sacrifice H2076 (8799) to the LORD H3068 our God H430.
[19] And I am sure H3045 (8804) that the king H4428 of Egypt H4714 will not let H5414 (8799) you go H1980 (8800), no, not by a mighty H2389 hand H3027.
[20] And I will stretch out H7971 (8804) my hand H3027, and smite H5221 (8689) Egypt H4714 with all my wonders H6381 (8737) which I will do H6213 (8799) in the midst H7130 thereof: and after H310 that he will let you go H7971 (8762).
[21] And I will give H5414 (8804) this people H5971 favour H2580 in the sight H5869 of the Egyptians H4714: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go H3212 (8799), ye shall not go H3212 (8799) empty H7387:
[22] But every woman H802 shall borrow H7592 (8804) of her neighbour H7934, and of her that sojourneth H1481 (8802) in her house H1004, jewels H3627 of silver H3701, and jewels H3627 of gold H2091, and raiment H8071: and ye shall put H7760 (8804) [them] upon your sons H1121, and upon your daughters H1323; and ye shall spoil H5337 (8765) the Egyptians H4714.

Young’s Literal Translation

Exodus 3 (YLT)

[1] And Moses hath been feeding the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, priest of Midian, and he leadeth the flock behind the wilderness, and cometh in unto the mount of God, to Horeb;
[2] and there appeareth unto him a messenger of Jehovah in a flame of fire, out of the midst of the bush, and he seeth, and lo, the bush is burning with fire, and the bush is not consumed.
[3] And Moses saith, ‘Let me turn aside, I pray thee, and I see this great appearance; wherefore is the bush not burned?’
[4] and Jehovah seeth that he hath turned aside to see, and God calleth unto him out of the midst of the bush, and saith, ‘Moses, Moses;’ and he saith, ‘Here am I.’
[5] And He saith, ‘Come not near hither: cast thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place on which thou art standing is holy ground.’
[6] He saith also, ‘I am the God of thy father, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob;’ and Moses hideth his face, for he is afraid to look towards God.
[7] And Jehovah saith, ‘I have certainly seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and their cry I have heard, because of its exactors, for I have known its pains;
[8] and I go down to deliver it out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to cause it to go up out of the land, unto a land good and broad, unto a land flowing with milk and honey-unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
[9] ‘And now, lo, the cry of the sons of Israel hath come in unto Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them,
[10] and now, come, and I send thee unto Pharaoh, and bring thou out My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.’
[11] And Moses saith unto God, ‘Who am I, that I go unto Pharaoh, and that I bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt?’
[12] and He saith, ‘Because I am with thee, and this is to thee the sign that I have sent thee: in thy bringing out the people from Egypt-ye do serve God on this mount.’
[13] And Moses saith unto God, ‘Lo, I am coming unto the sons of Israel, and have said to them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they have said to me, What is His name? what do I say unto them?’
[14] And God saith unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT WHICH I AM;’ He saith also, ‘Thus dost thou say to the sons of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.’
[15] And God saith again unto Moses, ‘Thus dost thou say unto the sons of Israel, Jehovah, God of your fathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this is My name-to the age, and this My memorial, to generation-generation.
[16] ‘Go, and thou hast gathered the elders of Israel, and hast said unto them: Jehovah, God of your fathers, hath appeareth unto me, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I have certainly inspected you, and that which is done to you in Egypt;
[17] and I say, I bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt, unto the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
[18] ‘And they have hearkened to thy voice, and thou hast entered, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye have said unto him, Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, hath met with us; and now, let us go, we pray thee, a journey of three days into the wilderness, and we sacrifice to Jehovah our God.
[19] ‘And I-I have known that the king of Egypt doth not permit you to go, unless by a strong hand,
[20] and I have put forth My hand, and have smitten Egypt with all My wonders, which I do in its midst-and afterwards he doth send you away.
[21] ‘And I have given the grace of this people in the eyes of the Egyptians, and it hath come to pass, when ye go, ye go not empty;
[22] and every woman hath asked from her neighbour, and from her who is sojourning in her house, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and ye have put them on your sons and on your daughters, and have spoiled the Egyptians.’
